How can he help? By not showing up. The President’s presence is becoming toxic on the campaign trail. From his string of controversies, to his continued obstinance on Benghazi despite overwhelming public demand for answers, to the true albatross around the party’s neck, Obamacare, he is nothing more than a liability.
How the mighty have fallen. When The One told us He Won we were supposed to be impressed … nay, cowed, by the mighty mandate from the messenger of change. Now Mr. “Yes We Can” has become Mr. “Um, Please Don’t.” As falls from grace go, his is both hilarious in its scale and scary in its illumination of the ills to be had from leftist philosophy. An object lesson in what happens when liberals feel free to be themselves.
In 2014, power in DC will shift once again. And for Democrats in key races, there is a shared universal view of any offer of the President’s assistance: Not Welcome.
