Ron DeSantis was questioning Rosenstein this morning and asked him plainly why he hasn’t recused himself from the Russia investigation.

DeSantis starts by telling the Deputy AG that instead of calling this the Mueller investigation, it really should be called the Rosenstein investigation because he appointed Mueller and he’s supervising Mueller.
He then points out that Rosenstein was the one who authored the memo to fire Comey and signed the Carter Page FISA application before he appointed Muller to reportedly investigate obstruction of justice and collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, leading to this question: Why haven’t you recused yourself yet?
Rosenstein responded by saying he’d gladly recuse himself it were appropriate.
When asked why then they are investigating Trump for obstruction of justice, Rosenstein refused to comment on what they are investigating despite all the media speculation.
