As soon as Trump’s speech was over a few minutes ago, CNN reported that Trump attacked the military during his speech.
Even Mediaite is claiming it as well.
They are referring to this clip of Trump talking about how the military never wins anymore:

When I heard that I didn’t think he was attacking the military at all, but rather the past administration’s leadership and maybe even Bush 43’s leadership when it comes to this continual fighting in the Middle East.
After all, we know Obama had a great deal of influence on how our men over there are allowed (or not allowed) to fight in terms of engaging the enemy. To just assume Trump was attacking the military alone seems absurd.
I get that Trump is imprecise with his words, but we have a whole election year of context and his words today were basically the same thing he’s been saying for months.
