Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson holds an unpopular view of homosexuality and he’s not afraid to tell you about it

You never ask Phil Robertson anything unless you want the blunt, hard truth and if I’ve learned from listening to him on and off his TV show, he’s gonna tell you exactly what he’s thinking. And apparently that’s what happened in an interview with GQ when the topic of homosexuality came up.

It should be no shock that the Duck Commander holds a biblical view of homosexuality, that it’s a sin. And we most certainly agree and respect him for not backing down from such a sensitive topic. But I have to admit when I read what he said…we’ll let’s just say it’s a good thing I wasn’t drinking something at the time as it would have been all over my monitor. The dude totally has a way with words!

So, without further ado…

FOX NEWS – When speaking to GQ, the “Duck Dynasty” dad spoke openly about his thoughts on homosexuality and various religious groups.

“It seems like, to me, a vagina—as a man—would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”

Robertson also launched into a mini-rant about sinning.

“Everything is blurred on what’s right and what’s wrong… Sin becomes fine,” he said. “Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.”

Paraphrasing Corinthians he added: “Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers—they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.”

There’s no doubt that the left will want to rip Phil Robertson up one side and down the other for his comments. But we stand with Phil here because he’s our brother in Christ.
