ELECTION THREAD: Handel vs Ossoff – get the election results here!

They say that Georgia district 6 between Democrat Jon Ossoff and Republican Karen Handel is now the most expensive congressional race ever.

Well thanks to the Decision Desk we have live election results from both Georgia district 6 and South Carolina district 5.

Here’s the lowdown on district 5:

There, Republican former state Rep. Ralph Norman is looking to win the seat left vacant by Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney. Norman is a heavy favorite in the deep-red district that Trump won by 19 points in November.

But Democrat Archie Parnell is hoping to score an upset that few are expecting.

The polls close at 7pm at least in the Georgia race and I hope we’ll know the results before everyone goes to sleep tonight, but you know how that goes.
