Elementary school teacher tells student she’s not allowed to write about God as her idol

A Memphis elementary school teacher not only made 10-year-old Erin Shead redo her assignment, telling her she can’t write about God as her idol, but also wouldn’t allow Erin’s first assignment about God to even remain at school, telling her it must go home. Erin ended up choosing Michael Jackson in her second attempt and that was acceptable to her teacher, but not to Erin’s mom who took this straight to the principle’s office at Lucy Elementary. In short, she won, but the school isn’t saying anything about how they are rectifying this issue.
