Scott Pruitt laid out his vision for the EPA at the CPAC, and it’s pretty…. awesome. There’s a lot of “rule of law” and “federalism” talk, which is exciting, when it comes from someone who knows what those terms mean.

In the question and answer period, Pruitt actually says that the previous administration was so focused on global warming that they ignored actually cleaning up spills and other environmental disasters.
He says that he will be a partner, not an adversary to those who want better air and water in their cities. He adds that the EPA won’t dictate to the citizens, but instead cooperate with them. I hope that’s true, and he sounds like the kind of guy that will make it true.
