Y’know there’s a lot of stupid things said on MSNBC but it takes a very special guest to make even Chris Matthews give the “what the hell are you talking about?” look. And that’s what he did to Michelle Bernard, of the Bernard Center for Women, while discussing the “immorality” of the brain injuries of the NFL. Rather than just prattle on like everyone else, Bernard somehow connected it to black ownership of NFL teams.

Yeah you tell me what the heck that was. Towards the end she makes the subtle move from race-baiting to some weird class-baiting Marxist attack about how rich people will “opt out” of sending their kids to football. I think Bernard is thinking that the NFL “draft” is like a military draft where everyone is forced to play football.
