Even Fox News isn’t buying the White House spin on ‘media distractions’ — [VIDEO]

This morning the White House, via Kellyanne Conway, is spinning hard that the media turned this week into distractions and sideshows and that Trump isn’t to blame.

But not even Fox News is buying it. In their main reporting, John Fox said that “it has to be said” that Trump is at least partly to blame for these distractions:

Chris Stirewalt in the following segment hit the nail on the head even harder:

Stirewalt points out that Trump actually had a good and productive meeting to save the health care bill, but then…

“…Within the very same day [Trump] went out – he didn’t go out, he had the NY Times, the paper he says he hates, the paper he says is so dishonest and failing and awful – well that apparently wasn’t true because he invited three of their reporters into the White House to sit down with him and then vented his spleen about his own Attorney General and reactivated this story about Russian collusion and went all the way into all the bad places.

He crushed the message about Made in America. He crushed the hope that Republicans were going to able to get this health care law back on track. He undid all of that because it is quite obvious that he can’t think about much other than this [Russia] investigation.

Exactly right. Just like he’s done in the past, Trump gave media the very distractions his White House now dismisses and blames the media for it.
