Excellent new RNC ad goes after Obama’s admission that he can’t fix Washington

This is the ad I was looking for earlier this morning after Obama’s gaffetastic gaffe yesterday and Romney’s fantastic response:

    GREAT! ad.

  • Arrrggghhh

I never thought I’d say this, but thank God for the foreign news services. They are the only ones without kneepads these days.

    • Boobie_The_Rocket_Dog

You want to know what’s going on in America?
Watch the Cuban (Miami) news program.

    • Sober_Thinking

      Well said.

  • How can Obama fix Washington it he’s never there?

    • Sober_Thinking

      ROFL! Excellent point!

  • WordsFailMe

I remember talking to people about Obama in 2008 just before the election. If was impossible;le. Bush hating was in fashion and the people I talked to would nearly wet themselves with excitement over having a coll, Black dud as president.

It’s is so interesting to see what kinds of things can swith-off a brain. “He’s black. You’re not being fair. That’s offensive.”

I just want to flood the country with bitch-slap gas.

    • Sober_Thinking

Lol! The last line speaks volumes. I’m with ya!

  • Don

For Obama to admit his incompetence at understanding his role as president has been common knowledge to the business community since he took office. His position on this country’s economy has to be incompetence or corruption to intentionally attack our economy. In either case, the result is the same and the economy will never progress to the point employment will flourish and business can never be involved in the cash flow necessary to be successful. Time to give new meaning to Hope and Change, Obama’s hope and change is a fraud.

  • This was great…barry goes on Univision–whose CEO, Sabin, is a mega democrat donor ($1,000,000.00+)–expecting the usual softball lovefest interview with Jorge Ramos and gets asked the questions we all want answered. Of course, our boy wonder never actually answered any of them; just more lies, evasions and convoluted, meaningless blather. He must have gone balistic backstage when it was over, screaming for Sabin and Ramos’ heads. You know, kind of like the obscenity-laced temper tantrum he had after Netenyehu made a fool of him during their joint press conference on national (and world-wide) television.

  • sDee

I always assume nothing is by accident with this man. Something I read today could explain that this was no gaffe…..

Who needs elections when we have the mainstream media?
“” Obama is not the incumbent in their eyes. He is the challenger. He is running against what Elizabeth Warren called a “rigged” system—the same system over which he has presided for almost four years. He is running against the Wall Street fat cats whose money he is happy to take when it suits his purposes…….

Obama’s most successful reset, it turns out, was not with Russia but with the mainstream media: In their eyes we are back where we started, in 2008, and Obama is once again nothing more or less than a symbol of racial and political progress whose opponents are ideologues or reactionaries or bigots.

This is the story line that has dominated news coverage of Obama ever since that first tingle ran up Chris Matthews’ leg, and we know the media love story lines.

They have been committed in this election to the twin notions that the Republicans are radical obstructionists and that Romney is an out-of-touch and gaffe-prone plutocrat. Neither the Republicans nor Romney can do anything to change such an impression once it has been set in media concrete. It is left to the rest of us to show the media oligarchy that it is wrong, and that the election is not over until Nov. 6″”

    • RosiesSeeingRed

sDee, this explains a lot, doesn’t it?

Last night I heard one of the pundits say that Obama doesn’t get to run as a first-timer again. Romney once said those exact words (and I’m sure it’s no accident Obama used them — the ads will be running shortly with Romney saying the exact same thing), but the difference is, Romney IS coming from the outside. He’s the newcomer to Washington. Obama’s been on the inside for almost 4 years. He doesn’t get to run as an outsider again. We won’t let him. It’s our job to remind him of that.

      • sDee

The Romney campaign has to realize it is running against the press, not Obama!

        • RosiesSeeingRed

YEP! Frustratingly, it’s the greatest danger this country faces. I truly believe that.

I heard someone comment recently that somehow we’ve allowed 500 people (so-called top journalists — the “elite” media) who all basically attended the same schools and were all taught by the same Marxist professors, who marry each other and socialize with each other, to basically speak for us and set the meme for political discourse.

Even the ones “on our side” play along. When they don’t (think Breitbart and Glenn Beck), they are ostracized. I do think the internet is the game-changer. For 40+ years the elites have had the only voice, but not anymore, and you can visibly see them get their panties in a wad every time their distortions and lies are uncovered and exposed.

We’re not going to get our airwaves back over night, but eventually we will. Look how far we’ve come in the last 4 years. Four years ago, the elite media was accused of being lapdogs for Obama, which they vehemently denied. Four years later, they don’t even try to hide their bias. But they also spend a lot of their time defending themselves when they are caught red-handed intentionally distorting the truth. This will all catch up with them sooner or later. We’re making progress. We need to keep the pressure on.

          • sDee

            well put.

Add the 700 or 800 hundred that run DC and it is easy to see the face of the New American Oligarchy.

    • Sober_Thinking

He could fart and they’d put a positive spin on it. Wouldn’t that be a gas?

      Sorry. 🙂

    • WordsFailMe

      Excellent insight

  • RosiesSeeingRed

    Nailed it!

  • FreeManWalking

The only thing he had fixed since he has been in Washington is BO.

He needs to answer that phone call, and not the just the on that came in at 3am the other day.

  • Army_Pilot1967

Personally I don’t think anyone can “fix” Washington, it’s been broken far too long. But I would rather give Romney an opportunity to correct some of the things that can be fixed, rather than let obama continue to “fundamentally transform America.” No thanks to more socialistic changes by obama.

    • Sober_Thinking

Obama took the “fix” and broke Washington further. Like a surgeon brought in to stitch up a leg wound, he amputated the leg.

I agree with you. Obama’s “fix” is deadly. The main so-called things that are currently wrong with Congress is

      a) That devil Harry Reid has the Senate locked down and refuse to do his damn job.

      b) We have a spinelss Speaker who has been a no-show lately and has compromised himself out of relevancy.

      c) We had to vote in the 2010 Freshman Class to stop the bleeding and to block this monster.

      d) Evil and greed run rampant in an entitlement-soaked Congress who is mostly made up of corrupt power whores.

Obama is in the wrong country… let him run North Korea or reside in China.

  • Again, I love this Ad but is this just YouTube? Right Scoop when you post these you need to tell us if these are Web only…if so WHO CARES!! I cannot understand what is going on…how is it that all RNC ads are WEB BASED?? It is cheap and uneffective! I have set to see Right Scoop tell us IF ANY OF THESE are more than WEB. Who sees these…it is just stupid if not on TV and Radio….

I agree that it was a fabulous idea to nail the President on his admission of Failure and Incomptency….but until this is more than a web ad it will do nothing!

    • RosiesSeeingRed

Michael, but how do you know it’s not being aired on TV as well? I’m not in a battleground state, so I see nothing, but that doesn’t mean ads aren’t airing elsewhere.

Secondly, I was thinking about Egypt the other day, back in the Mubarek days, and how Twitter and Facebook are credited with the overthrow of his government, despite the control Mubarek had over the media. I think we underestimate the web. Well, I hope we do, because THIS campaign is going to come down to the information the people get on the web. If we’re relying on TV only, we’re screwed. Progressives dominate the message on TV (we may as well already be a communist country), but they cannot stop us from spreading information and seeking out truth on the web. Not yet anyway.

      • Sober_Thinking

        Excellent response!

    • Sober_Thinking

      I agree to a point.

These absolutely need to be on T.V. and perhaps they are in battleground states – in fact I know some of them are.

I appreciate Scoop for sharing these. It would be nice to know which made it to T.V. and which reside only on the web.

      • First of all…I did not say all the ads…PAY ATTENTION! I was talking about this ad specifically. As for the Egypt BS above. First people will spread videos they relate to hence the Video as the core of the alleged cause of the ME uprising. YouTube ads of Republicans will spread where? to others that share the same thought. YouTube ads like this have NO correlation to Facebook and Egypt. GET REAL!! What a pathetic comparison. A MUSLIM WORLD bent on forcing ISLAM vs GOP AD?? Are you serious!

Ok..lets see how many MILLIONS with see this if it is YouTube vs anything to do with Mohammed, Islam and Fanatics that spreads throughtout the ME like locusts!!

        Your comparison is ridiculous!

I live in a SWING STATE EINSTEIN so I know ads are running if you actually read what I said you would have a clue but you did not!!

I asked specifically about this ad. And Right Scoop can easily find out if this is a Web Ad or National/Swing State Ad…pure and simple…GOT IT EINSTEIN!

        • RosiesSeeingRed

Wow Michael. I was really hoping by now you would learn WE’RE ALL ON THE SAME SIDE here, but you continue to insult people on this site with your responses.

Target your anger at someone else, maybe over at HuffPo or something. Your anger is very displaced here.

        • Sober_Thinking

Dude, you need to take a chill pill before you wet your Depends.

You must be responding to someone else because you apparently didn’t read my response. And looking at your punctuation, you do make me feel like Einstein. Got it Mavis Beacon?

I think you’re on the wrong site. Folks on this site are respectful and discuss things in a civil manner. We avoid name-calling or sarcasm to one another and debate things in a more productive way. Apparently you’re having a bad day.

  • JoeMontana16

These ads mean crap and the points they make. The media has gone Goebbels

  • So what was that quote again from Obama? “I realize that I can’t fix Washington from the Inside” or something like that. (Forgive me, I’m at work so I can’t watch the videos with the sound on, but I assume that’s the quote they’re using for this ad, correct?)

Let me just say this. I think he has made things happen from the inside. No, not fix it, but he did CHANGE America as we know it from the inside. As the Alinsky rulebook would say, “top-down, bottom-up” and even our founding fathers knew that if Tyranny would ever rise again, it would be from a domestic force.

“You can have your freedom only if you can keep it” (paraphrasing)
and that, my friend, is what we intend to do!

  • Sober_Thinking

This is a great ad. It has some real teeth to it.

My wife was upset this morning that the LSM has been really pushing and rehashing Romney’s so called gaffe from the “secret video” and she’s been feeling down. Yet they won’t cover the numerous, obvious and blatant Obama gaffes even a fraction as much. I showed her this video and reminded her that when Obama is asked serious (hard?) questions about his Presidential responsibilities and actions, instead of “What’s your favorite color?” or “What smell makes you happy?”, that he almost always buckles. He’s a paper tiger. And when you combine that with him going off teleprompter, he almost always gaffes to Biden-esque proportions.

The spineless media is desparate. They are attacking Mitt mercilessly because their little god keeps stumbling and falling on his face… and it’s embarassing them. They’re trying to save face (pun intended) by helping this fraud to get re-elected so they can be vindicated in why they’ve been spooning him all these years.

I hope the debates really nail this monster to the wall. He’s a fraud. He’s a liar. He’s incompetent. He’s a monster. The debates should help to highlight his true nature.

    • Rshill7

      “Spooning him”…that’s right 🙂

The media is guilty of purposeful journalistic negligence every day. Obama is nothing but one lie stacked upon another. That stack of lies is teetering precariously. When that happens in the lumberjack world, they yell timber!

The print media likes to award conservative truth with 4 “Pinocchios”. I give the MSM 5 Geppettos, for continuing to build up this wooden Chicago thugocratic apprentice, who’ll soon be fired.

A fraud, a pathological liar with narcissistic self-saluting disorder, and a community shakedown agitator, who based on actual events in his life, doesn’t give a cornhusking kickback about poor folks of any color. But, I’m still going to vote for him…to git!

      • Sober_Thinking

        Brilliant post. 🙂

    • Glenn was talking about that last night on his show, about how the media completely misses the mark from Obama’s many, many, many dangerous lies and idiotic decisions (like praising that solyndra/GM would prosper after his bailout, but had since fallen flat and even bankrupt, as well as not opening up the keystone pipleline ‘cuz he didn’t “believe that drilling for more oil will be enough”) yet Romney worked with Bain Capital, or he says that 47% don’t pay taxes, and all of a sudden, he’s an evil man out to get you! Don’t miss this shocking news at 11! -_- Give me a break! There is no media anymore. the media died in 2008.

      • Rshill7

I was trying to explain this to a lefty in our local paper this morning. It was fun. He said he was one of those democrat 47% and paid $17K in federal taxes last year. I didn’t ask him how much his refund was though.

        Here it is:

“I’ll explain it to you in my own words, kay? 47% vote democrat no matter what. 47% also don’t pay federal income taxes. Do those two 47% groups overlap? Sure they do. You’re in a special group though Jax. You’re one of those who does pay federal income tax and still votes democrat.

That’s a special category called ‘Stupid’. So, we have the 47%, the other 47% and ‘The Stupid’. Happy to clear that up for ya’. The rest of the non-taxpaying democrat voters are also hopelessly steeped in stupid. They should vote Republican to have a better shot at moving into taxpayer status.”

      • sDee

A pure propaganda machine. I was reading this morning that leading up to both World Wars, Germany’s propaganda machine feathered the nest of war – it had created a savior in Hilter and completely obscured the dangerous economic situation of Germany and the rest of the world.

        Sound familiar?

      • Sober_Thinking

        Great points… 🙂

Again, Glenn is still fighting the good fight and has been spot on with nearly everything.

The media of today is a complete biased farce.

    • rich wojcik

paper tiger? I would say “used toilet paper”

      • Sober_Thinking

        ROFL! I stand corrected. 🙂

  • I think they’re just mad that Obama couldn’t get their amnesty bill passed. Oh, and they were so close to not have to worry about the hassle of jumping over the fence and getting prosecuted. Damn! :-l

  • anneinarkansas

Good ad and Bam handed him the material he needed to make it.

  • 911Infidel

“Yes we can” has morphed into “No we can’t”. Who didn’t know that. The amateur has always been a bush leaguer (don’t get all riled up…its a baseball term…look it up)

“How does he do it? How do they do it? Uncanny and immutable.
This is such a happening tailpipe of a party.
Like sugar, the guests are so refined, (look like melting mice)

A confidence man, but why so beleaguered?
    He’s not a leader, he’s a Texas leaguer
Swinging for the fence, got lucky with a strike
Drilling for fear, makes the job simple
Born on third, thinks he got a triple”

Wisdom from Pearl Jam. The song: Bushleaguer.

  • gunsmithkat

It truly is amazing how The Won has handed Mitt all the best lines of the campaign to use against him. From “You didn’t build that” to “You can’t fix Washington” there have been some extraordinary gaffes from the sitting Pres. In a world with a balanced media, The Won’s numbers would be in the toilet.

  • redheadgrl

These ads are so great! The RNC has really stepped up their game from previous campaigns. Using clips of media and Obama’s own speeches to show his incompetence is brilliant.

  • SKL53

But he wants four more years to destroy us completely!
