In another bout of “voxsplaining” to the illiterate unwashed masses, Ezra Klein descended from the airy heights of his smug self-importance and let us all know how stupid we are for believing that Muslims who massacred cartoonists who “offended” Muhammad did it because of cartoons that “offended” Muhammad.
Even dimwitted fellow liberal moron Lawrence O’Donnell wouldn’t let that go without stating the obvious.

On the road to making his point, Ezra compares calling the cartoons the cause to saying that rape happened because of what a woman was wearing. Ironically, if you follow Ezra’s analogy to it’s logical end, then liberals must blame a culture of intolerance and violence among Muslims. After all, liberals say that it’s a “culture of rape” that makes men rape women, not personal responsibility on the part of the rapists, so to fulfill his analogy, it’s not the fault of the particular Muslim cockroaches that killed the cartoonists, but it’s the fault of the culture among all Muslims, right?
