This is a rather chilling story of a proud father who posts a photo of his son holding his new .22 rifle on Facebook, only to have the police and child services come to his home and demand to see his gun safe – without a warrant. They even threatened to take his kids away because he wouldn’t allow them access to it, suggesting he had something to hide.
But the man stood his ground and even got his lawyer on the phone while the police were there making all these demands. He says after about an hour of arguing with him they left, and though they threatened to come back with a warrant, they did not return. Kudos to the father!
