FACEPALM: You won’t believe what Obama just said his legacy would be….

You won’t be surprised at what Obama just said this weekend about his legacy, given his already enormous leftist ego, but it will make you roll your eyes and possibly facepalm:

WASHINGTON TIMES – President Obama took credit for saving the world economy from a Great Depression Saturday during a town hall meeting with British students.

Speaking at the Royal Horticultural Halls in central London, the president said he likely wouldn’t have a full understanding of his legacy for another decade.

“I don’t think I’ll have a good sense of my legacy until 10 years from now when I can look back with some perspective and get a sense of what worked and what didn’t,” Mr. Obama said, The Guardian reported. “There are things I’m proud of: the basic principle that in a country as wealthy as the United States, every person should have access to high quality health care that they can afford.

“Saving the world economy from a Great Depression, that was pretty good,” he continued. “The first time I came to London, in April 2009, the world economy was in free-fall, in part because of the reckless behavior of the folks on Wall Street, but in part because of reckless behavior of a lot of financial institutions around the globe. For us to be able to mobilize the world community, to take rapid action, to stabilize the financial markets and then in the United States to pass Wall Street reforms that make it much less likely that a crisis like that could happen again — I’m proud of that.”

Obama’s destructive policies haven’t fixed anything. America is now over 19 trillion in debt, almost half of that Obama is responsible for himself, among many other destructive things. What he’s done for sure is put America on the path to bankruptcy and very hard times, especially for the poor and lower middle class incomes. And when America falls on its face in the future, the rest of the world is definitely going to feel it.

That will be his legacy.
