‘Faithless Elector’ vote BACKFIRES, Libs FREAK OUT!

Trump has now grabbed the White House by the… Oval Office, as he easily surpassed the 270 electoral votes he needed to win.

Ironically, the “faithless elector” plan didn’t pan out so well for Democrats – they just took four elector vote away from Hillary:

Four Democratic electors in Washington state cast votes for candidates other than Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, who carried the state.

Democratic electors in Maine, Minnesota and Colorado have separately tried to cast votes for different candidates, but saw their ballots barred. Clinton carried all three states.

…In Washington, three rogue electors voted for former Secretary of State Colin Powell, while one voted for Faith Spotted Eagle, a Sioux Tribe elder who led protests against the Dakota Access Pipeline in North Dakota this year.

One Maine elector expressed interest in going rogue by voting for Bernie Sanders instead, but was told he could not and voted for Clinton.

Well that sucks for Hillary.

Liberals in Wisconsin absolutely flipped out when the announcement was made, and it was all caught on glorious video:

Meanwhile, Trump only lost two votes because of “faithless electors:”

Two “faithless electors” from Texas refused to vote for President-elect Donald Trump on Monday, leaving his official Electoral College vote two shy of what he earned on Election Night.

Despite a concerted push from liberals to convince Republican electors to go rogue, all remained united around their party’s nominee until Texas, the final Republican state to report results.

All but two of Texas’ 38 electors followed suit. One elector, Dallas’s Christopher Suprun, had already declared his intent to vote for Ohio Republican Gov. John Kasich, who briefly emerged as a compromise pick for anti-Trump electors before rejecting their support. Suprun followed through on that pledge.

The best laid plans of mice and dems…
