Fake News OUTRAGE! Twitter FUROR over CNN covering ‘quirk’ in presidential succession

Twitter has become a cesspool for idiots retweeting fake news, and today we have a doozy. Morons are sharing a video from CNN about a quirk in the line of presidential succession and shrieking stupidly that it’s unfair and worse than Hitler, because Trump snowflakes are just as sensitive as liberal snowflakes.

Here’s an example with the video:

What’s even more annoying is that the video specifically shows pictures of Obama and Biden as they talk about what would happen if “disaster strikes.” Just what is the big deal here?

The quirk they’re referring to is what happens if the succession goes down due to some disaster right at inauguration – some of the officials, like Rex Tillerson, would not have been sworn in, but Obama’s officials would have begun resigning. In that case, the succession is murky, but CNN says it’s terribly unlikely, obviously.

But politics is almost exclusively comprised of stupid people yelling about fake outrage these days, so this is America right now:

C’mon guys. When you’re outraged over a headline, make sure you’re not being fooled by someone who is making money off your clicks and shares. This really is poisonous to a country that depends on its citizenry being informed instead of being witless angry cretins.
