False video going around claiming Sandy Hook father was heckled by NRA members, CNN runs with it

There’s a deceptively edited video that’s making the rounds today that shows so-called NRA members heckling the father who lost his son at Sandy Hook. Huffpo ran a story on it which has blown it way up. First, here’s the video:

You can tell the video has some hard cuts in it. Even so, the video caused Piers Morgan to blow a gasket on twitter today, to the point that he invited the man on his show tonight. And apparently Anderson Cooper has been spreading the lie on his show tonight. Both of these men trusted their liberal blogs and didn’t bother to even check and see if it the video was doctored, even with the hard cuts.

And it was doctored. The man isn’t being heckled at all. He asked a question, and not a rhetorical one, to the people in the audience and they answered him:

Due to pressure by Michelle Malkin and others, like Dana Loesch, Anderson Cooper has apparently admitted the story is now false.

Even at this moment Michelle Malkin is still giving these morons hell for being hacks. It’s awesome. Tune in to her twitter account to watch.

UPDATE: Apparently Piers Morgan has finally come clean before his show:

Behold the power of social media.
