Fantastic Video: Greg Gutfeld Talks About Being Cool With … Don Imus?

Gutfeld’s new book, Not Cool: The Hipster Elite and Their War on You, looks like it’s going to be great. In this interview with Don Imus he boils down some key points that are some of the pet-peeviest habits of the pet rock crowd.

“They make fun of actual work. They don’t believe anybody should actually work a real job, it’s gotta be jobs like I have where I just talk. You know? Or community organize, these ill-formed ideas. But if you’re fracking, that’s stupid. You’re probably the anti-Christ.”

That’s so accurate that I think I may go plumb or carpent something. You know exactly the kind of people Greg is referring to. You meet them all the time, and their attitude is just becoming more and more prevalent. Even the millenials who might be seen as leaning to the right suffer from this to a degree.

Greg also adds “in order for the cool to survive the uncool have to make it possible.” Absolutely right.

The whole interview is worth watching, and there is a quotable line every few minutes, too many for me to remark on here. But I will say one thing:
