I have an idea. If the guy is on a watch list and he buys a couple of guns, maybe he’s worth actually watching for a while after this. Someone surveilling him after he bought his guns would have seen him take his guns to the gay bar and could have possibly minimized or completely prevented this from happening.
Yes, I’m sure it’s not that simple. But we do know the FBI is already alerted during the background check process when someone purchases guns that are on the watch list.
Just an idea.
