As I suggested from the beginning, Trump’s use of Twitter to make these accusations was stupid. Trump could have had his administration ask Congress to investigate this in a more formal manner without hyperventilating about it on Twitter.
But because of the way in which he did it, he’s now going to look stupid in every media report today and tomorrow about this hearing and the FBI director’s statement.
I hope Trump learns a valuable lesson about taking out his frustrations so openly on social media.
