Female police officer AMBUSHED while trying to render aid, thrown over embankment

According to 6 ABC News female police officer in Schuylkill County was trying to render aid to a vehicle she had seen on the side of the road. As she approached the vehicle, a large hispanic male assaulted her and threw her over a guardrail and down an embankment.

Officers say that West Penn Township Sergeant Melissa Ruch tumbled 35 feet down an embankment as the driver pulled away.

Fortunately her injuries aren’t life threatening but the police are still searching for the perp who did this.

Trooper David Bohem told WNEP the suspect they are looking for is “a Hispanic male, 6’2″ to 6’4″, 240 to 260 pounds. He was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans, the kind that go way down below your knees and possibly in a dark colored Nissan Maxima.”

It’s no wonder that police departments are reporting that they are having trouble recruiting new officers. There is a lot of anti-cop sentiment in the air and criminals seem to be taking more brazen steps to assault cops amidst all of this anti-cop uprising by groups like Black Lives Matter. And it has to stop!
