The Los Angeles Police Department is now investigating rape allegations against the movie producer Harvey Weinstein.
Detectives interviewed a 38-year-old Italian-born model and actress, who asked to remain anonymous, for two hours on Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The actress claimed that Weinstein appeared “without warning” at her Beverly Hills hotel room, where she was staying for a Los Angeles film and art festival.
Once Weinstein was inside her room, “he grabbed me by the hair and forced me to do something I did not want to do,” the woman told the Times. “He then dragged me to the bathroom and forcibly raped me.”
The actress is the sixth woman to accuse Weinstein of rape.
Weinstein has denied doing anything without consent. I wonder how many celebs will push for an actual punishment for Weinstein and his heinous acts, instead of just vague castigation in the media.
