By Dan Cleary

This is Mitt Romney at a press conference during his 1994 U.S. Senate campaign, answering a question about lobbyists and the influence of money in politics.

It’s bad enough that Romneycare inspired Obamacare. Now it appears that Mittens helped lay the groundwork (at least rhetorically) for what would eventually become the McCain-Feingold bill – an utter failure that was ruled mostly unconstitutional by the Supreme Court in 2010.

And remember, this is one of the two most conservative candidates in the GOP field, supposedly.

Romney is the Republican version of Obama and he can’t be trusted…

Romney is as RINO as they make them.

The real hypocrisy behind what Romney said is that he has enough money to spend to get himself elected.

We are witnessing the destruction of the modern day GOP. Romney will NEVER consolidate the conservative vote into a majority. I will never vote for him. The Republican party has aligned themselves with big government and I will no longer participate in their aristocracy. They won’t let anyone win except the RINO clone they create every 4 years.

Someone replied to me once, “But he’s better than Obama!”. I said, “Yea and -3 > -10. Romney will destroy the country slower than Hussein. Either way, we lose. I want a candidate that’s positive, not less negative.”

Yes, and even a Romney nomination will in and of itself destroy the GOP

You are awesome and you get it. I feel the exact same way. Don’t let people get you down with “awww just vote for whomever the nominee is…” NO, how about the GOP stop pushing RINOs?

I thought I was going crazy, but thank you BSScoop

I know, he’s crazy. But it would be nice to see $1,000,000,000,000.00 in spending cuts in a year. Nobody else is talking that kind of crazy talk. Too bad he’s also apparently a racist. Umm, nobody’s perfect?… You’re right, where’s my straight jacket…

How many more times do we have to say this: Romney is the WEAKEST of the candidates (besides that mental case Paul)??

On, and on and on with this guy….jeeez.

And does the $60,000 donation that Nikki Haley got from Romney have anything to do with the endorsement she just made??

A lot of good campaign finance reform did. There’s more money involved now than ever. 527 groups and unions pump tons of money into the campaigns…mostly on the left. I was glad to see the Supreme Court shoot down part of this law by removing restraints from corporations. It was unbalanced with a huge favor going to the libs.

If Romney is the nominee I will support him. What I will not support anymore if that happens is the RNC. These baboons are screwing Americans much like liberalism is.

You’re supporting the destruction of the party and the country if you support him.

I will not support Romney under any circumstances.

Mitt has been fighting against McCain-Feingold since the beginning. That is one of the reasons McCAIN USED TO HATE MITT SO MUCH.

Here I thought McCain was the most RINO candidate I’ve ever seen…

Romney will be the next Reagan, he fools liberals into thinking he’s one of them and then works on his conservative agenda. Look at his record in MA, he was surrounded by those libs, 75 percent or some odd were libs in the state legislature. He vetoed those bums all the time. Don’t worry, he’ll grow on you and you’ll worship him like Reagan. Read his recent piece on entitlement society vs welfare society. He is no moderate.

    ROMNEY 2012!!!
