By The Right Scoop

The former NRA Chairman, Biff Naylor, who hired Herman Cain says that Sharon Bialek was terminated before Herman Cain was even hired and thus he never met her. On top of that she propositioned him (Naylor) for dinner once because she thought he was handsome, which he promptly turned down as he was happily married.

Naylor also says he knew the other two that said Cain harassed them, and that whatever they took exception to was so minor that it wasn’t even reported to the executive committee or the board.

Asked where he was three weeks ago when all this was going down, he says he was fielding calls from the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Wall Street Journal, but none of them ever reported with any substance what he told them.

When asked about Herman Cain’s character, he had nothing but great things to say about Cain.

Ever heard of Andrew Breitbart you ignorant moron ?

    • http://www.therightscoop.com/ The Right Scoop

oh come on! He probably hasn’t but that doesn’t him a moron.

      • Anonymous

He is a moron because he assumed that if he told the truth to the media heavyweights , they will publish it .
If he has been paying any attention to the way things work in this country now, he should know that unless someone like Breitbart or Malkin kicks it relentlessly in the blogs and tweetosphere, nothing which goes against Obama’s interests gets ANY media attention.

        • Anonymous

so he did tell the truth but he’s the moron.
          yeah that works…

He is a moron because he doesn’t realize how lightening fast reputations are destroyed by the media based on ABSOLUTE LIES, and he let it happen to his friend .

Where were Cain’s PR people? This was important. They should have called a press conference.

  • Anonymous

And where did Biff say he was 3 weeks ago. If he thought Cain was such a great guy he should have opened his mouth.

    • http://twitter.com/RickBulow1974 Rick Bulow

Biff said he tried to contact newspapers but none other than the Wall Street Jopurnal picked up on it, and even if a little blurb on the 7th paragraph

      • Anonymous

Maybe he was using snail mail to back and forth with WSJ , WaPo and Pinch.
        That explains the 3 weeks

Isn’t Biff a character from “Back to the Future”?

        • Steven Finster

could be he just didn’t want to subject himself to the penny-ante little jerks that would inevitably bash away at his character while possessing none of their own.

    • poljunkie

He could have called into Rush’s show. Just a thought.

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1396855720 Brian Jones

Or even better: He could have gotten a hold of MR. CAIN! I’m fairly certain the man would have the means to do so, and I’ll betcha Herman Cain has the means and desire to call a Press Conference WHENEVER he chose to. This whole thing seems strange to me…I’ve always believed Mr. Cain wasn’t cheating on his wife (those women were not “floozy” material for a wealthy man, in my opinion), but something STILL doesn’t seem right…trying to figure this out is going to bother me all day!

        • Anonymous

Actually, I think the Cain campaign did bring this up.

          Sex sticks…but not the truth…

          • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1396855720 Brian Jones

Oh did they. I don’t know if they did or not. It just seemed to me that if this is truly new information, it should have been released with Cain’s blessing and in his presence at HIS conference. I’m so disgusted with the way this election is turning out. NONE OF US are working our own party. We are becoming unwitting puppets, and I refuse to dance. Santorum 2012!

            • Anonymous

We’ll like the guy said in the interview…nobody wrote much, if anything about it.

I think he was even mentioned (maybe not by name) in Politico’s original hit piece.

The original piece had a whole paragraph (at the end) of people from the NRA vouching for Cain.

The only thing new (although he could have mentioned these things to the press and they just didn’t release it), is that he specifically mentions the women and essentially says the complaints were minor BS.

Very glad to hear this. It goes to show that the world is filled with very evil people, and doesn’t this characterize the Left? The truth doesn’t matter, just “the narrative” they want to tell.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_6GDYGAIR2GIOQWKQ2PGV5NB25I SolvingADream

My guess is that this story won’t make the “major” news media. They will let negative impressions of a good man stand. Typical journalistic swill.

  • cabensg

This did not vindicate Cain. No body believed this trumped up crap and it had faded into never, never land. What did Cain in was his own stupidity in not handling the White problem before running as in, before running, you know like before you run for president. He could have told his wife, hopefully handle that then tell white to bug off because she was lying. Unfortunately we don’t know what transpired between White and Cain so maybe it couldn’t have been handled. In that case he shouldn’t have run. Period!

    • deo heerai

I disagree if you are dealing with professional, such as lawyers and a long time friend you don’t alway tell the right hand everything you doing, becaue in business you are trying to make succussful contracts. If you can not be trusted in business you finished. It like Newt said to the woman who is the speaker of the house you keep busness, out of the main public, that is why you have ethics in busness.

this shows that cCain was taken down By the Republican Establishment not the left more stories like this to come out. The wsj said nothing..wow just wow

WTF. I am almsot speechless. The only media that he talked was the liberal media? Unbelievable. Why didn’t he every reach out to any alternative media? Forbes did a great analysis on the story after the Politico piece. There are many conservative media sources that would have love to cited him. Something doesn’t seem right here.

    • Professor Why

I’m not sure I’d call the Wall Street Journal a liberal media outlet, but I understand the sentiment…

You don’t seen to be getting it, the power that be control the media the democrats wanted Cain out to keep the black and his-spanish vote in the Democrat part to assure a democrat win and to make the republican look like a bunch of white racis. Many white fall for the trick, because they want home boy represent them and then the wonder why they are loosing

Please don’t send me another reply with poor grammar nor every other word misspelled preaching to me that I “don’t get it”. You’ve come to a justifiable conclusion on why the Democrats didn’t want Cain to make it to the primaries, however, this post directly relates to the former NRA Chairman being MIA for the past month. That is where my comments stemmed from.

This is precisely why you DON’T talk to the Liberal Entertainment Complex. If you want to get the news out, and it would be damaging to the leftist agenda, then you ONLY consult with the new press (Conservative websites and talk radio) and FOXNews. Once they start putting the word out, all the LEC can do is try suppressing it by not reporting it on their own channels (which will be of limited effectiveness). If you want to go with dinosaur press, go to known Conservative or centrist papers, like the Washington Times, for instance. Anyone that trusts a reporter is a fool. Anyone that thinks that they’ll do anything other than sit on, or destroy, the truth, is a moron.

I’ll bet that doesn’t include Hannity. I’ll bet that doesn’t include Cavuto. Those are the only people I was thinking of contacting, quite frankly.

        • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1396855720 Brian Jones

I REALLY like Cavuto!!! Hannity is okay, but I could watch Cavuto ALL day long! He has a special way of explaining things that seem so complex, and yet by the time he’s done, you completely understand it. And he seems so likeable and honest. Neil Cavuto for President y’all!!!

          • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

I like Bill Whittle for the same things. Cavuto is good as much as I’ve seen him, which is basically whenever Scoop has a clip ;-)

Cavuto is one of the VERY few (less than 5) television personalities I would be DEEPLY HONORED to meet in person. I’ve never seen him act childish, even to people he clearly didn’t like nor agree with.

              Who’s Bill Whittle?

              • K-Bob

He had his own blog for a while, and then got hired to write for Pajamas Media. He’s a writer and screenwriter, I believe. His vids at PJTV are some of the best vids in the entire body of conservative media.

Oh WOW! I’m going to look him up now! I don’t even know what Pajamas Media is, to be honest! This is really the only news venue I frequent (the company here is better than I ever hoped for) :-D

You also need to check out LAW PROFESSOR RICHARD EPSTEIN’s videos on Youtube. He was on the same law faulty as Obama and gives the inside scoop on him, and he is also on the front-lines in fighting the Dodd-Frank legislation in the courts. He is the most conversant and refreshing economist I have ever heard, and cares absolutely nothing for political correctness. He is also not so deluded to think all business men are good. Some of his material is a little complex but it well worth the effort. IF IT IS NOT TOO LATE, SOMEONE SHOULD APPROACH HIM TO CONSIDER RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT.

I like Huckabee too. His GOP Forum was great and he and the Attorneys General moderated it well.

Where the hell was this guy?! Way to support your bro Herman, pal.

  • Steven

I suspect we will begin to hear the truth trickle out now that Cain is safely out of the race. It’s a shame because there are those out there on our side that believed everything that was said against Cain, even though there was no concrete evidence. I never questioned Cain’s integrity, because given his background and upbringing, it was all that he had and he wasn’t going throw it away on white trash. Just look at these women–Bialek and Ginger. How could anyone take their word over Cain’s I don’t know, but it’s over now for Cain, but it won’t be over for conservative candidates so long as our electorate are so willing to be the sheeple of the Media and Political Establishments.

Now you have Pelosi talking about getting Newt. And of course we know about all the lies they’ve been ginning up on Bachmann, but the GOP electorate continues to believe there is some candidate out there that the media won’t molest! Ha! Keep dreaming and keep watching our country sink into the abyss because you won’t vote for real change but for the people the corrupt Media and Political Establishments want you to vote for.

  • Anonymous

I thought Cain was clearly being smeared. The only things that made me doubt him was that his wife didn’t know about him giving White money for 13 years and that he dropped out of the race.

If it’s not true, why show the media and the establishment that they can push you out?

    • Anonymous

It’s because the donations dried up. Notwithstanding, Cain had to pay lawyers to defend his name and look into legal action against these women. It’s because his poll numbers started to drop because his supporters were being suckered by the media. That’s how was pushed out…they were using us as the force to push him out.

      • Anonymous

As well as pressure from Conservatives for him to drop down. Remember West? I do not think he was alone in advising Cain to drop his candidacy.

        • Anonymous

I maintained a positive front…but when I heard Steve King talking negatively about Cain and saying that he should drop out….well…I knew enough people had been taken in by the lies.

    • Anonymous

he was placed, by so called conservatives, in a no win situation.
so instead of wasting money and resources he made a decision and stood by it.

      • Anonymous

Ok, so can you explain givng a woman money for 13 years without telling your wife?

Because I’d be divorved for something like that!

        • K-Bob

Cain was a CEO. Those guys get followed by all kinds of people. I know folks like that, who are quite wealthy and “in charge.” It’s more than possible they have multiple contacts that their spouses and families don’t know about. For example, I’m pretty confident Steve Jobs told his wife F.A. about anything.

Having wrote that, Cain should have let his wife know about it after requests for money happened more than once or twice.

        • Anonymous

They knew each other for 13 or 15 or whatever years. Cain wasn’t given her a monthly annuity or anything.

It is very common as a minister to help many, without thinking much about it. I am not a minister nor religious, but there were times when I helped friends without informing those close to me what I did, just to avoid the lecture of “do you know that money does not fell out from trees?”.

  • Anonymous

This just tells me that there is a concerted efforts, between the Democrats and its media arms, and the Big old establishment Republicans in bringing down a probable popular candidate who will take down their hold and control of governance. Questions should be asked not only at the Democrats and its Misinformation Media, but especially at Republicans. It might be time to establish a new party to discourage this behavior and counter the evil of these people. They are undermining the democratic process and run counter to the country’s ideals and may ultimately run the country to a situation of no return. Or you could still pressure Mr. Cain (with Mrs. Cain) to run.

  • http://twitter.com/ozziecastillo Ozzie

TRS: I’m not sure if you ever posted about the Chicago reporter on air talking about how Bialek had a pretty bad reputation and it was likely that she was harassing Cain….If you did, can you please link to it on this page? WSJ had an article where they reference Mr. Naylor:
“W.W. “Biff” Naylor, a California restaurant owner and restaurant association board member, cast doubt on the idea of a settlement by the trade group. Mr. Naylor said he was unaware during Mr. Cain’s three-year tenure at the association of any sexual allegations concerning Mr. Cain. Mr. Naylor said he also was unaware of any harassment-related settlement going before the executive board, on which he also served.

“There is no way we would have paid a settlement without this going before the executive board,” said Mr. Naylor, who as chairman hired Mr. Cain as the trade group’s president in 1996.”

that’s it… Nice reporting nimrods… now America has lost their best hope!

Cain was 100% right that there was no legal settlement, it was a severance agreement. That means those minor habitual complainers might had been let go. A company cannot survive employing people who are habitual minor irritant complainers (like sexual harassment complaint for a statement comparing computers and women). If they could complain such illogical things, what other complaints will they come up with to milk concessions from employers? In many of these cases, the employer usually choose in paying severance packages than enable these people to up their demands by manufacturing more complaints in the future. There is no such thing as right of not being offended.

This is very sickening, can’t these people see beyond themselves and think about the damage they have inflicted on the person, his and his family’s honor, his hard earned reputation and possibly the future relationship of his family? How evil could they be in letting their ambitions and whims override their sense of fair play, decency and conscience, if there is any little left at all?

Here is the link to the Bill Kurtis interview on Chicago radio about Bialek. She’s a disgrace, but this is the common tactic of the left. This is right out of the Obama playbook – amazing that she lived in Axelrod’s building, isn’t it? Can we get an apology from Gloria Allred?

No on forced Cain out. If you are right, you never give in, you keep fighting. As far as his fundraising, he did that to himself when he said that quitting was an option he was considering. Obviously, no one is going to contribute to a campaign when the leader is thinking of dropping out. Furthermore, how do Santorum and Bachman continue on? They certainly can’t be getting that much money, yet they continue on. Maybe he would have had to temporarily cut back on staff and just focus on Iowa, NH, and SC (instead of opening offices in Georgia), but he could have kept on. I think he was wrong to quit.

I agree….Hermann Cain was unfarily attacked and the motive is pure money via Blackmail. That is a major problem today because businesses are no longer willing to fight they just found it easier to pay people off instead versuis standing up to these blackmailers.

Unfortunately, this goes right to the root of the problems with the USA and that is one of self responsibility versus victomhood and the feeling that we are owed just because we feel we are owed not because of our work.

It is my hope that Mr. Cain is offered and accepts a Cabinet post in the next Republican Administration after the landslide victory against the Obamanator. It would be truely a sad missuse of his talents not to use his mind and intelect.

I am still hoping that he will still come back once his name is cleared, if time still wills it. He might have just taken a break to work on clearing his name, which he won’t be able to do while campaigning and with the relentless hounding of agenda driven media. I hope that is what he meant by saying “Suspending” his candidacy instead of the final terminate or end.

Water under the bridge… The left and their lackey MSM attacked, Standard trash attack, The target was subdued, Cain quit, Mission accomplished.. end of story…

The Propagandist win again, until next time, next target… the sheeple go back to sleep until called upon again..

Informed people from eastern Europe must think Americans have lost their minds… and they would probably be right..

I’m sure Herman Cain knows how the media works. I doubt he was expecting the mainstream media to report anything that didn’t fit into their agenda. He was just making a statement of fact. They were calling him – not the other way around.

Actually Naylor spoke out about this weeks ago including to the NYT, WaPo and the WSJ. Only WSJ did anything with the story. Curious that the big 3 networks ran 117 stories in 6 days based on the Politico story but nothing based on the Wall Street Journal.

So Huntsman a democrat pretend RINO urged Cain to drop out without giving the man the benefit of a doubt? Are you sure this guy stands for democracy, freedom, let alone individual rights? Has this guy adopted China’s policy of “for the benefit of many, one has to be willing in forfeiting and sacrificing individual rights and freedom? Has his ambasadorship to China affected and amplified his held socialistic belief deeply? How about those suppose to be Republicans who urged Cain to reconsider dropping out, have they just been paying lip service to democracy? Shame on these people!

Cain is out of the running, so now the government controlled media doesn’t care if the truth comes out. See you in the re-education camp if the Annointed One gets four more.

Cain, of course, knows what happened and what is true better than Biff Naylor. He was prepared to fight the Restaurant Association-related allegations with the help of the big gun lawyer from Atlanta.

However, Mr. Cain’s innocence in regard to the Restaurant Assoc. allegations does not explain why he suspended his campaign.

The suspension most likely has to do with the last allegation from Ginger White, which may have at least partial basis in fact…or others that may not have surfaced yet.

Then, there may also be other things, threats, pressures, deals going on under the radar that made the campaign too personally costly or killed it at this point.

We don’t vote for one man running for president; we vote for a man with a lot of attachments in the form of donors with agendas, good agendas and bad ones.

Some of Cain’s backers may have deserted or gone elsewhere.

I think Cain would have made a decent VP. Regardless of his personal fidelity to his wife, (which has never stopped any other candidate in U.S. history from running for the Presidency) I think he is a solid conservative and I am sorry that he dropped out.

too little too late.. no use crying.. let us go out and find that one person (with flaws) that we can call our own. that one person who loves our country, who will by example prove that our country is that shining city on a hill.. let us all of faith believe

    A little late. Good grief.

“Asked where he was three weeks ago when all this was going down, he says he was fielding calls from the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Wall Street Journal, but none of them ever reported with any substance what he told them.”

Could he maybe have called the Cain campaign office and gotten the name of a right-wing media outlet? Nahhh, too easy. Far better to leave his ol’ buddy Herman twisting in the wind.

“Better a strong enemy than a weak friend.” And that’s putting the best possible interpretation on it.

If all those newspapers thought to call him, why didn’t Cain’s attorney? He should have been at that press conference. Or contacted Fox News.

This Cain affair stinks of Chicago and Soros. Obamao and company couldn’t allow their base to be diluted by the presence of a legitimate black man not under their control. He was a threat and they dealt with it. It’ll get worse before it gets better when the Soros steamroller gets momentum. These Chicago criminals did the very same thing to Jack Ryan in the Illinois US senate election.
    Just for interest:
I got this article from the newspaper’s archives but it has been magically expunged. How did that happen, I wonder?

Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate
Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.
The allegations that horrified fellow Republicans and caused his once-promising candidacy to implode in four short days have given Obama a clear lead as Republicans struggled to fetch an alternative.
Ryan’s campaign began to crumble on Monday following the release of embarrassing records from his divorce. In the records, his ex-wife, Boston Public actress Jeri Ryan, said her former husband took her to kinky sex clubs in Paris, New York and New Orleans.
“It’s clear to me that a vigorous debate on the issues most likely could not take place if I remain in the race,” Ryan, 44, said in a statement. “What would take place, rather, is a brutal, scorched-earth campaign – the kind of campaign that has turned off so many voters, the kind of politics I refuse to play.”
Although Ryan disputed the allegations, saying he and his wife went to one ‘avant-garde’ club in Paris and left because they felt uncomfortable, lashed out at the media and said it was “truly outrageous” that the Chicago Tribune got a judge to unseal the records.
The Republican choice will become an instant underdog in the campaign for the seat of retiring Republican Senator Peter Fitzgerald, since Obama held a wide lead even before the scandal broke.
“I feel for him actually,” Obama told a Chicago TV station. “What he’s gone through over the last three days I think is something you wouldn’t wish on anybody.”

The Republican state committee must now choose a replacement for Ryan, who had won in the primaries against seven contenders. Its task is complicated by the fact that Obama holds a comfortable lead in the polls and is widely regarded as a rising Democratic star.
The chairwoman of the Illinois Republican Party, Judy Topinka, said at a news conference, after Ryan withdrew, that Republicans would probably take several weeks to settle on a new candidate.
“Obviously, this is a bad week for our party and our state,” she said.
As recently as Thursday, spokesmen for the Ryan campaign still insisted that Ryan would remain in the race. Ryan had defended himself saying, “There’s no breaking of any laws. There’s no breaking of any marriage laws. There’s no breaking of the Ten Commandments anywhere.”

Well, if he is on the ballot here, I’ll vote for him in th primary. It is to help send a message to the MSM selectees, Romney and Newt, that I don’t care for them in the slightest because they just can’t seem to find what they really believe in. Too much flip-flopping! I may have to vote for one or the other in the end, but it aint cause I like one of them. TOO MUCH BAGGAGE! The Constitution has meaning! Stick to it! And QUIT trying to change it with behind the scenes legislation like the patriot act, and laws that make criminals of U.S. Citizens for no reason. CONGRESS… ARE YOU LISTINING!?
