I love the fact that Fox News is covering this Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, getting interviews with supporters and really showing how big yesterday really was. I had no idea it would be such a huge success and it gives me even more hope in America.

As a wise man already observed: this is a sneak preview of election night. Make mine spicy, please.

  • 911Infidel

And do you ya still think that Americans are going to show up in sufficient numbers to vote for Obamby and his “Chicago values”? Guess again.

  • Betsey_Ross

They are expecting something big tommorrow? What rot gut. They are looking to start a fight and cause trouble is what he means. Now Chick Fil A needs to hire security. It’s the Left trying to take away their profits from yesterday. There is no end to their depravity.

Go again to Chick Fil A on Friday and quietly wait until your food is served. Then joyfully consume it and laugh at the demonstrators. It’s time to Restore America and the goodness she represents.

    • layne22

Yep! I’m going to go to Chick-Fil-A tomorrow. The one near our home was packed / busy all day yesterday.

    • tvlgds

It’s some kind of gay “kiss in.” UGH! I don’t want to see heterosexuals playing tonsil hockey, particularly when I’m trying to eat, much less a bunch of gays.

      • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

If I go, it’ll have to be take out. I’m not bringing my child to see that crap.

        • sDee

I was surprised to find the one I went to today filled with moms and their kids and that was the very first thing I thought of. My eyes were scanning the whole room while waiting in line – had they tired their little stunt in front of those kids I’d have been “escorting” them out into the gutter in a heartbeat.

          • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

Me too. God Bless you sDee! :-)

    • keats5

The “Kiss In” is set for specific time slots because they do not have critical mass.

  • digitalPimple

Someone mentioned tomorrow is “dump a coke on PDA’s day”. Is this true??

    • http://tinyurl.com/wwsotu Whitewolf2009

Where did you hear about that?

    • tvlgds

If not, it should be! :D

    • Susanna958

      PDA?

  • 12grace

G-d works in mysterious ways. I think G-d has used Chick-Fil-A,their good and faithful servants to wake Christians up about the government’s infringements on G-d’s law.

    Romans 8:31

    • stevenbiot

That, and it is truly a business that respects and is courteous to their customers. When you see a classy organization like Chick-Fil-A being smeared like this, it forces you to show support. Beating up on Chick-Fil-A is like shooting Bambi.

    • sDee

12Grace you know I feel through the grace of God, we have been given the fortune, the tools, the knowledge and the opportunity to fight this evil. America is the last stand. It is up to us – no one is coming to save us.

      • stage9

        Amen!

      • 12grace

G-d will save us if we are speaking out on HIS behalf.

        Romans 8:31

      • sjmom

It’s up to us to use the Armor but we must remember it is “not by might, nor by power but by my spirit saith the Lord of Hosts” Zechariah 4:6

Also, as Jesus has spoken: ‘without me you can do nothing” John 15:5 We cannot ever accomplish anything on our own and must remember it is our faith and God’s grace which overcomes. Only with, in and through Him will we be victorious.

Hey liberals! Take a gooooood look at the preview of the polls in November!

  • wales777

Ug.. Patty…Dan Cathay NEVER said he was “against gay marriage”!! He said he “supported traditional marriage”

HUGE difference!! Dolt! This kind of irresponsible reporting is why the left create such disingenuous talking points!!!

    • sDee

Did you catch her say that it was Cathy who “created a firestorm”? He did not create it, the leftists created it out of their intolerance and power mongering. Cathy merely stated his belief.

Such an assertion is subtle but very powerful. It is not irresponsibility – she is intentionally using the basic propaganda techniques learned in Journalism school.

      • stage9

Isn’t it just evil how radicals work?

Marriage has been the staple of society since the dawn of man, yet it is those who hold this view that are the ones creating a firestorm according to the radicals! It isn’t the deviant who is trying to eradicate the lines between morality and immorality by creating a firestorm; no, it’s the stable traditionalist who is the threat.

This is how the evil mind of the godless liberal works and why I LOATHE liberalism. It is a worldview straight out of the pits of hell. There is no reforming it. There is no reasoning with it. It is a cancer to any society it infects and it must be eradicated along with communism and nazism and every other wicked and devilish worldview.

We must start admitting that there are just some ideas that ARE INDEED IRREDEEMABLY EVIL.

        • sDee

Good and evil are fundamental – knowing what is good vs evil is the most primitive instinct we are born with. We can build all the rationalization of forgiveness and tolerance on top of that but once fear, intellectuality, and rationalization replace the basic judgement, evil wins.

We just have to tie it all back and decide. It is not wrong to hate evil.

    • keats5

      Yes, I caught that too!

If Liberals want to know what kind of people support and are within the ranks of the Tea Party. They need look no further than the TREMENDOUS response by traditional (read REAL) Americans! These people ARE Tea Party People! God bless them all!

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_IJYM277N7VJNF772U6DUVQKHAE TIMERUNNER

Thank you from Tea Party America.
We Americans are fed up with being treaded upon, November we win.

      tea party patriot

  • http://tinyurl.com/wwsotu Whitewolf2009

If this shocked Libtards, wait until Nov… Oh man! I won’t know whether to watch Fox and see the happy faces or watch MSNBC for the mass suicide when NObama is defeated!

    • stage9

But dude, even THEN they’ll be in FULL DENIAL! remember 2010? The Tea Party swept the election but radicals STILL couldn’t accept it. And they won’t in November either. Liberals are always one step ahead of Conservatives. We’re always trying to put out old fires and they’ve moved on to create new ones.

The only way to stop liberalism is to cut off its head. And that requires more than just a presidential election. It requires the boycott (meaning not shopping there) of companies that fund them and the prosecution and dissolution of organizations that engage in criminal activities.

I’m sorry, but Obamney does not have the backbone to fight this war. What we really needed was a strong Conservative, but folks simply don’t want one bad enough.

      • http://tinyurl.com/wwsotu Whitewolf2009

The Tea Party IS our backbone! So-called “insider” Republicans fear us as much as Liberals! RINOS are in danger of extinction now! And that is one beast we need to exterminate!(politically speaking of course) We keep hearing how the Libtards too 50 years or more to get where they are… Well, in just a few short years, we already are AWAKE And FIGHTING BACK! Take heart from this kerfuffle over the fast food place. Just think… If Conservatives are willing to do what they did then! Imagine what we will do on election day! I, for one, cannot WAIT to see NObama’s sorry ass concession speech…. To see him and Moomoo leave the WH! To see PRESIDENT ROMNEY (Gad, it even feels good to type that) and his lovely, patriotic, AMERICAN family move in!!

Mind you.. We will STILL be working and watching! The Rom better deliver! or… Well… We’ll cross that bridge if we should ever come to it.

        God bless!

    • stevenbiot

MSNBC will shut down the day after the election, because their reporters will take off for a day of mourning.

      • stage9

I predict they will be in full attack mode. Demeaning. Degrading. Lying. And then they’ll settle down and reflect on what went wrong. Wondering how the peasants could have pulled it off.

        • http://tinyurl.com/wwsotu Whitewolf2009

Meanwhile, we’ll be all too busy partying and planning our next move to ensure the future of this great nation for future generations! We will work to make the NObama years the (Our years of infamy – That time when Libtards managed to seize power and hold it! To try to destroy a Great Nation from within – as a Cancer does to a body!) – those years we vow to never, ever let happen again!

      • sDee

People forget sometimes that the MS in MSNBC is Microsoft. No more:

“Microsoft, in particular, had grown frustrated by contract terms requiring it to exclusively feature MSNBC.com content on its own websites. That exasperation was exacerbated by the MSNBC cable channel’s strategy to counter Fox News Channel’s appeal to conservative viewers by tailoring its programming for an audience with a liberal viewpoint.

The strategy fed a perception that material from MSNBC’s website was politically slanted……………….””

That is a nice way of saying even leftward Microsoft can no longer deal with it name being associated with obnoxious leftists like Rachel Maddow, Ed Schultz and Lawrence O’Donnell.

This was much bigger than even fox said. I have family everywhere and they said everyone of the CFA ‘S were being run over with chicken fever. Maybe I should say godly, first amendment rights chicken. What a great American day. Nothing can stop the One Nation Under God!!

    • freenca

We only have 1 here and the lines were blocks long, and our McClatchy paper printed 2 articles,(almost 2 full pages) about this phenomenon. People don’t want their rights impinged. The libs want to dictate whom can say what about whatever the topic of the day might be, their narrative, and No other. What fools they be! Our rights are endowed by our creator and no other entity!! This kerfuffle has been a great recruiting toll for our side, waking more people up.

  • Rshill7

The left needs to realize that the word “meek” in the original Greek does not mean “weak”. It means “power with restraint”. This is precisely what we are seeing here.

The left also would do well to realize that they can only push good people so far into a corner before the fight or flight mechanism kicks in. Will the good people choose fight or flight?

    Take a guess :-)

    • wales777

Any push or pressure will reach a stress breaking point. The American people have reached that point.

    EXCELLENT POST! Thanks Scoop!

    What is a “kiss-in”?

‎”kiss-ins” are a very common practice within the homosexual community. The idea is to walk into a business where two homosexuals then engage one another in a “make-out” session. When the owner tells them to leave, they do so but not without consequence to the owner of the business. The homosexuals will then engage in a PR campaign to destroy the owner for being an “intolerant homophobe”. By doing this they hope to ruin his/her business. In Massachusetts its also a prosecutable offense now to “discriminate” AGAINST this practice.

Homosexual movement to stage public “kiss-ins” in 35 cities across America this Saturday Aug. 15 — including Boston (2009)
    http://www.massresistance.org/docs/gen/09c/kiss_ins.html

This behavior is actually a PROTECTED practice in Massachusetts. Massachusetts Commission against Discrimination (MCAD) is a “politically-correct tribunal that enforces (often in a draconian manner) the state’s anti-discrimination laws on businesses, organizations, and individuals. It has the legal authority to investigate, subpoena, hold hearings, and impose fines and punishments, but without usual court procedures. MCAD has a troubling history of severely punishing businesses which react adversely to staged situations on their premises by activists meant to provoke them, such as homosexual “kiss-ins” in restaurants.” — massresistance.org (emphasis mine)

    • keninil

A “kiss-in” would be offensive it were heterosexual or homosexual. Making out is something one does is private and is not necessarily for kids to see.

      • stage9

Unfortunately for us homosexuals flaunting their wares is common practice:

2011 “Gay Youth Pride” day in Boston.
        http://www.massresistance.org/docs/gen/11b/youth_pride/videos.html

        • keninil

A you saying that homosexuals should not be allowed to have children because they regularly participate in unsuitable behavior?? I really think that most know what is proper place and time for such things and a few really ruin it for the group!! Those that ruin it — NOT ALL — should probably have the same restrictions as pedophiles.

    • sDee

      encouraging!

I will make exception though, that I stopped buying Tyson foods many years ago. They did make a decision to stop hiring illegals for their Tenn meat packing plant, but let the Feds con them into importing plane loads of muslim Somali “political refugees” with papers and all, courtesy of the INS.

I was quite appreciative that a Tyson spokesman exchanged a few emails on the topic with me, but of course they would not tell me how to identify meat from that plant. That region of Tenn later had a TB outbreak because the INS did not bother to test or vaccinate any of them

Not so very appetizing having underpaid jihadis packing your chicken sausage, now is it?

  • sDee

Well I am off to chick’fil’a for lunch.

    • stage9

      WHOOT! WHOOT!

      • sDee

Well the drive thru was around the block so I went inside. Saw a Marine, lots of rug rats with their moms, and nary a fuddrucker in sight.

  • Sober_Thinking

This is positive. Once again I’ll say,

    1) Americans don’t want their freedoms taken away
    2) They don’t want to be punished for exercising their freedoms
    3) And they don’t want others trying to force them to embrace something they don’t support

Gays of all people ought to appreciate this… they’ve fought long and hard for these tenents.

The Government – if they were run by real Americans – would understand that they cannot bend Americans to their vision of utopia… we aren’t wired for that.

All this to say, Americans stood up to support freedom (religious and speech)… not necessarily to say they don’t support gays. The LSM is only doing themselves a disservice by attacking Chik-Fil-A and it’s patrons (a.k.a. Americans). But of course, they usually get it all wrong anyway… which is why they are marginalized.

    • http://tinyurl.com/wwsotu Whitewolf2009

Wish I could like this post 100 times! Great post!!!

      • Sober_Thinking

        Thanks. You’re very kind. :)

    • stage9

But they didn’t fight long and hard for that. They manipulated and lied their way into this. since when does deviant sexual behavior have standing with stable morals? How is deviancy a benefit to the stability of a society? That is the question that is being missed here.

We have to realize that there are some behaviors that are actually DESTRUCTIVE to society and that requires an HONEST assessment of their values.

We won’t accept that islam is a sociopolitical worldview that seeks word domination.
We won’t accept that homosexuality is a self-destructive and predatory lifestyle.

We are naive in the West because we believe everyone in the world has the same good intentions that we do. We refuse to accept that evil exists and that we are its target. And so we try and reason with unreasonable people.

But you can’t reason with evil. Until a person sees the evil in his own heart and seeks to deal with it, reason is out of reach for him.

      • sDee

        Wise words.

The truth hurts, we get over it, and then we fight back.

      • wodiej

so you think gay people are evil? Lots of wonderful, kind, loving gay people. This is what the young pastor was saying when he said we don’t respect each others opinions and there is no dialogue. I see almost as much hate speech from conservatives as from liberals. Lots of judging too.

        • keyesforpres

There’s nothing wrong with judging something you think is wrong. What is not ok is to try to get the gov’t to ban Chic-fil-a because they disagree with the owner’s view on marriage.

        • white531

What keyes said. Dittoes. None of us have said gays as a people are evil. What all of us have said and continue to say, is that when you shove it in our face and demand that we accept your obscene (to us) behavior, you get what you deserve. You want a different lifestyle? Then keep it to yourselves. Behave in public like the rest of us.

      • white531

stage9, I believe you nailed it.

      • Sober_Thinking

Interesting observation. I agree, oil and water doesn’t mix.

        Good commentary. :)

    • sDee

“”The Government – if they were run by real Americans – would understand that they cannot bend Americans to their vision of utopia… we aren’t wired for that””

That is why they passed the “diversity” based 1965 Immigration Act. They’ve been recruiting and importing people wired that way, by the millions.

You are so right, and the bigotry of the homosexual community has done us a great service by finally showing its true rainbow colors.

      • Sober_Thinking

Scary observation but you are spot on. America is being diluted in many ways – and no, I’m not implying or supporting “white supremecy” in any way. Our morals, values, beliefs, etc. are all under attack… you’re right sdee… this started long ago. Obama and the left is just reaping the harvest.

    • stage9

      AWE-SOME!

It feels GREAT to be on the “wrong side of history”, ala one of the posts on YouTube.

      • 911Infidel

And NC is considered a “swing” state? I don’t think so.

        • sDee

There is definitely an awakening. We elected Republican control of both House and Senate for the first time in a 100 years. We will probably get a Republican governor, thou not exactly a conservative one. My county school board lost all its left wing activists and they conservatives fought off Holder and the NAACP. NC will send Ilario Pantano to the House to stand with West and Bachmann.

The old boy democratic machine is still very strong and is allied with the ultra liberal university communities and a very strong public sector union. They are biding their time. We suffer form a influx of northeastern liberals and an excess of liberal academia. It still is a battle – and always will be.A battle worth fighting.

btw..A couple of weeks ago I was in line at the grocery store and 20ish woman in front of me got carded by a teenage clerk. “Oh, from California?” , “Yeah just moved here”. “How do you like it?”, “Much cleaner here than LA”. “Not so many liberals”, the kid said. :)

          • 911Infidel

Nice…Even a kid from the left coast gets it. The leftist school system has been infected by northern marxists for many years. It is disgusting that when you go to the deep south, you don’t hear the southern accent anymore. Instead, you hear that stupid Valley Girl crap.

We must win the culture as well as the Senate and the WH. That starts with the schools.

    • poljunkie

      I love it!

I’m glad so many people responded and showed support for Dan Cathy and Chik-Fil-A yesterday. I bet that really upset a lot of people on the other side of this manufactured (non)issue. Too bad.

  • guppymanster

It is a gruelling indictment of the mainstream media when they fail to report an event which drew millions of Americans accross the country. The media bias demonstrates their lack of concern for anyone or anything that doesn’t fit into their narrative. The American people were energized and they will be even more energized in November.

    • sDee

We were at the large rally in DC It is hard to even describe the size, spontaneity, and common sense of purpose of the crowd. Far more sheer determination than even Beck’s rally there.

Are you talking about the 9-12 Rally in 2009? I was there too and the NBC truck did not have their logo on the truck! It was inside on the step and the “reporter” was sitting in the truck with his legs up, arms crossed and a BIG pout on his face. Fox was beside their truck with their logo on the truck.

Never saw the other alphabet soup trucks. Did see CNN and MSNBC at the beginning, but I think they left early.

When we had an Occupy protest here, about 10 ppl showed up for several days and our stupid local media covered it everyday. So pathetic.

Since God created chickens and gave man dominion in Gen 1 methinks probably, but why don’t you ask Him?

I do think the Lord likes what Dan Cathy said and appreciates all of us who supported him yesterday. On the other hand, tomorrow at the “kiss in”; if I were those kissing I would be looking to the sky to see where lightning was going to hit? Could be a very painful kiss.

I agree. A little, “Wrath of God,” right now might go a long way.

Look at all the economic activity the democrats have spawned. The success of this private enterprise rubs them the wrong way. I’m sure they wish the lines were formed at welfare offices and the office for the issuance of government cheese.

And what does a “kiss-in” do to help the left’s cause? I think that it may backfire and demonstrate the unnatural aspects of what they desire to redefine as “normal”.

When Mayor Tom Menino spoke out was the day I took my family to dinner at Chick-fil-A. One rule of thumb, every time Chick-fil-A is mentioned negatively in the news, we go out to eat at my favorite Chicken restaurant.

It puts their perversion right up close and personal to voting families, that’s what. That mom sitting in Chick-fil-a tomorrow will have her children treated to the true nature of homosexuality and she will remember it, post about it on Facebook, share the incident with family and vote accordingly in November!

    • keyesforpres

I guess the gaystapo can’t stand the big “KISS OFF” the American people have shown them.

  • libertyandtyranny

The Sleeping Giant has awoken. Chic -Fil-A in Redlands, CA had thousands of people, lines of cars and people all the way down the block, starting at 6:30 am and not ending until 10 pm. They had to restock three times, and ran out of food at 9pm.
It was an awesome show of support for FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND RELIGION and against Big Government threatening to withdraw business permits because of the Christian beliefs of the CEO! To all intolerant fascists in Chicago, Boston and Washington, do you see any conservatives picketing the gay bars or the Unitarian church? NO! If you disagree with the support of traditional marriage, you are free to go somewhere else! A free society is based on freedom of association. When that is taken away, we are no longer free. AND THE LAMESTREAM MEDIA, BESIDES FOX NEWS, CAN GO TO HELL FOR NOT REPORTING THE TRUTH. AND STOP CALLING IT ANTI-GAY MARRIAGE. IT’S PRO- TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE!

    • poljunkie

Thats awesome! How incredible that they ran out of food. Amazing for the employees. Job security and its just good all around!

  • libertyandtyranny

THE LEFT STARTED IT BY BULLYING CHRISTIANS! WE WILL PEACEFULLY SHOW OUR SUPPORT FOR TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE, AND OUR OPPOSITION TO GOVERNMENT AND LEFTIST INTIMIDATION.

    • stage9

      HEAR! HEAR!

  • libertyandtyranny

A KISS-IN? I’m sorry, but there are rules of propriety and etiquette when we are in public, and civilized citizens don’t purposely try to make others feel uncomfortable. But this is what is expected of the Left- Alinsky’s the ends validate the means.

  • giomerica

Just a little warm up for election day. Look out, lefties… here we come!

I just hope and pray that people flood the polling stations in November like they did with Chick-Fil-A!!!

  • DebbyX

Are we really going to be subjected to watching a bunch gays in a lip lock?

    UGH!

    • white531

Debbie, I don’t think UGH! covers it.

      • DebbyX

That’s all I could say without getting myself booted off!!

        But I know where you’re coming from………………….

  • keyesforpres

Gay rights? Isn’t that kind of like a ‘herd of moderate muslims’? There is no such thing as gay rights. Gays have the same rights as everyone else. What homosexuals want are special priveleges for their behavior.

If we change the definition of marriage so homosexuals can marry, than why not polygamists? If not, why not?

  • wodiej

A kiss in? Good grief. Haven’t embarrassed themselves enough yet apparently.

Our family LOVES Chic-Fil-A, so we really don’t need a reason to show up! However, if it will make these commie liberals’ heads explode…I’m in! If anyone demonstrates, it would be great to accidently-on-purpose drop a tray of ice water on their hot heads! What a group of loosers…showing up at a family restaurant to snog! It isn’t appropriate when heterosexuals do that, but it’s even worse when these perverts do it! It shows that they have zero class, which is true to begin with! They aren’t victims, they are bullies. I don’t choose to hang out in gay bars, they are more than welcome not to hang out at Chic-Fil-A!

Here is an idea have a small water cannon so when they start acting inappropriate you can give them a dose of their own medicine.

  • hongryhawg

Shepard Smith doesn’t like this story one single bit. If you heard his snide remarks on his own show, you would agree that he should go ahead and do his own CNN’s Anderson Cooper “come out of the closet” announcement.

You know, I don’t really care what you do behind closed doors. It’s your life. That, I believe, is the point that the rest of us would like to make to these militant people with a gender problem. I don’t know if gays have a gene missing, or if they grew up without a Mother or Father, or if they never went to church, or if they simply have low self esteem after being rejected or treated badly by a member of the opposite sex. I just don’t know. But, it’s not my problem and I don’t appreciate having it shoved in my face every time I go out to a public place with my family.

I think the most outspoken gay communities are in California, although I could be wrong about that. Having moved from there to Arizona, it is simply my experience. Palm Springs used to have a gay mayor. I don’t know if he is still in office, but he was when we moved several years ago. Palm Springs became a haven over time for the more mature, older gay couples. They dressed well, they behaved in public places and it was quite common to see them in fine restaurants enjoying the evening like everyone else. The city grew to accept their presence and made no issue of it. I think everyone sort of said, “let there be peace,” and there was. Other cities in California, like San Diego, represented the other end of the spectrum. My wife is an artist and we used to do art shows occasionally there. The gays there are young and tough and militant. They like to strip to their waist and walk down the middle of the street arm in arm in groups of five or six, laughing and kissing each other and taunting the regular folks who are just there to enjoy the art show and making them have to walk around this blatant display. I do remember on one occasion however, when they were met by a half dozen Marines walking toward them in the other direction. They stopped their offensive behavior, broke up and walked around the Marines. Several of the people watching actually clapped their hands and one older gentleman saluted the Marines.

I don’t know where I am going with all this, but I guess I am just saddened that almost everything in our society and our lives has become an issue with two opposing sides. The many issues that face us have made us a divided nation. A divided nation is a crippled nation. The Liberals are good at this. They revel in it even while they are knowingly helping to destroy this country in the process. The gay issue used to be kept behind closed doors as I mentioned. Palm Springs was a good example of how to go about it. It obviously wasn’t the one the Liberals liked.

Let us all help to make this a banner year for Chick-fil-A. I feel like eating some chicken!

  • aZjimbo

Hopefully the sleeping giants are awake and ready to throw these bastards out of office.

If the cities of Chicago and Boston don’t want a Chick-fil-a franchise in their respective cities. Due to the intolerance of the gay community and their supporters. We here in Florida, and in all our cities… will gladly welcome Chick-fil-a franchises here. And here’s a great quote from my favorite founding father and president.
” I never will, by any word or act, bow to the shrines of intolerance or admit a right of inquiry into the religious opinions of others.” Thomas Jefferson

I hope there are plenty of photos of the “Kiss In” on all the liberal news outlets.

Liberals are all for the homo agenda, until they actually see it firsthand, on their screens, in their homes with their children and grandchildren in the room. To maintain their irrational beliefs, they have to swallow a pack of lies.

I know several elderly life-long Democrats who are clueless about how radical their party has become. They watch the same lame stream media they’ve watched for years, and like the proverbial frog in hot water, they have slowly compromised their beliefs. They need to see the visual to really get it. I believe the gag reflex will cross party lines.
