ObamaCare was going to add 11 million people to Healthcare. How is this cost to be covered? by charging $68 per year for 5 years to those paying for Healthcare. This figure did not include illegal aliens which will add an additional 11 million if Amnesty passes.

People became unglued when Papa John announced it they would have to add 14 cents to the price of each pizza to cover Obamacare costs just think about how they're gonna feel when they learn that it is them that are paying for the uninsured and that Free Health Care is not FREE...lol...I can hear their screeches from here.

I miss my Siamese kitten, Wheatena. She had five little wheatcakes once: Semolina, Farina, Buckwheat, Max and Saskachewan. They all found good homes!

BTW if you want to email AIPAC about the F-16's/tanks, their site contact us link isn't working,

but their mid-Atlantic local office email is:

marreg@aipac.org

and I am hoping the batch FAX link to all Congressmen at the Conservative Caucus is up and running again soon. Meanwhile it is still FAX one at a time. List of FAXes for all Congressmen is at:

On Marco Rubio, Talk Radio & Amnesty 2.0

Marco Rubio was backed by the conservative tea party movement in 2010 against an establishment republican, recently turned democrat, Charlie Crist. Now Rubio has sided with the Washington establishment to push Amnesty 2.0 a.k.a. Comprehensive Immigration Reform. Rubio was sent to Washington to help in the restoration of America--not to become part of the problem. When a Rubio 2016 pusher tells you "but it's not amnesty" doesn't that sound awfully reminiscent of the Romney 2012 pushers who said "Romney care isn't Obama care?" Obama may hold off on the amnesty push to use it to win back the House in 2014. A familiar talk radio caller personifies the low information republican voters.

I'm a little bummed. Tried to buy a Ruger P95 this early evening and the background check system was too busy to get an instant approval. Now I have to wait for the dealer to call me back with a delayed approval :-(

You know, when you want something, it sucks when you can't get it. I wanted to "play with it" this evening...by that I mean, get more familiar with it.

Dagnabbit.

Good things come to those who wait (or something)...but I know the feeling of impatience.

Good to see you you Rs. Where you been hiding?

Working and stuff..reading. Getting near the end of "The Everlasting Man" by G.K. Chesterton. I've also been whittling sharp points on a bunch of ultra-long girthy spears, like they used in Braveheart, when William Wallace said, "hold, hold, hoolllld...!"

:-)

I receive this Letter to Editor Newtown Bee link in an email.

The following link takes you to a short letter-to-the-editor of a Newtown, CT newspaper.

It is wonderfully encouraging to read this man's opinion and note that his entirely

accurate thoughts were...apparently... actually printed.

Thank you for sharing this great letter!

I was glad to see the Newtown CT school board go for armed security in elementary schools.

They were exposed!

They found out and paid the ultimate price because their security measures no matter how well thought, were not sufficient when an armed lunatic enters a Gun Free Zone.

Ahhhh Barney died. President Bush's little dog of 12 years. He's the little guy who bit the Reuters reporter that time.

Nukeman60

Oh, I thought you were talking about Barney Frank. Of course, he would never bite a reporter (especially from Reuters. Barney, the dog, was a smart pup).

On a side note, thanks for the heads up on the movie The Road and the series Jerico and Survivors. I've seen the first two, but will check out the third one.

Your comment was the 11th post in the thread, so I could not respond back there.

Joel Pollak has the power, intellect, and determination to follow Andrew Breitbarts lead. I support Joel Pollak, I promote Joel Pollak. Readers here, please do the same. Joel Pollak is the only Republican who ever received the endorsement of Alan Dershowitz. That highlights the unique nature of Joel Pollak's perspective.

waytngtym

Not to confuse the issue, but Mr. Dershowitz, whom I just looked up, is going round the bend??

this from Wikipedia:

On February 29, 2012, Dershowitz filed an Amicus Brief in support of the People's Mujahedin of Iran, also known as the MEK, a group designated by the State Department as a foreign terrorist organization.[54][55] The MEK was placed on the list for attacks on U.S. military personal and civilian contractors, and is believed responsible for the deaths of three U.S. Army officers, three U.S. civilian contractors, as well as the wounding of USAF General Harold Price, during an assassination attempt.[56][57]

The People's Mujahedin of Iran renounced violence in 2001.[58] However, a 2004 FBI report on the group states that, "MEK is currently actively involved in planning and executing acts of terrorism.”[59][60] Additionally, in 2009, seven people plead guilty to providing material support to the People's Mujahedin of Iran.[61][62]

You can't mix ideologies, for a little leaven ferments the whole loaf.

Giggle Snort of the evening....

For his entire working life, a dedicated and hardworking Astrophysicist tried in all earnest to find the existence of other being somewhere in the universe. After 58 years of constant effort, he finally receives a response from a planet 30 billion light years away.

“What is your planet like?” groaned the extraterrestrial from the other side of the Galaxy.

“It is 12,756 Kilometers in diameter, is 93,000,000 miles from the nearest star, our sun, has an average temperature of 72 degrees F. We breathe oxygen, live about 75 years, and have both men and women” answered the Physicist.

“Do the you get along with the women on your planet?” the extraterrestrial asked slowly.

Puzzled by the question, but not wanting to insult the female Physicists near by, he answered “Why yes. We get along quite well here.”

The extraterrestrial perked up “Can we send you ours?”

He heh...

:o)

We too!

'The dark side' is a very apt analogy. It takes a lifetime and at least 3-4 cats even to begin comprehending the powers they are endowed with. Fascinating, mysterious, endearing and very respectable creatures. (Love dogs, too - all animals in fact.)
