This is a lengthy but good interview between Rush and Marco Rubio on immigration reform and why it must happen now:

So he says the current law is illegals can become citizens , they have to 1 leave the country for 10 years 2 get a green card, 3 apply for citizenship in 3to 5 years
Sounds good , lets keep it and enforce it.
I can’t listen to it yet, but he really must have to sell it, if he’s going on all these talk radio shows!
However, he isn’t going to change my mind.
c4pfan Happy face politicians just don’t have the sway they once did. Rubio is done as far as furthering his career beyond Senator. I’d like to see him replaced there to as soon as possible.
“gun legislation” Mr. Rubio? Legal immigration is not broken Mr. Rubio, the pos has told the enforcement arm to Stand Down. Rubio just admitted illegal aliens use fake documents. What about the 5.2 million illegal aliens in the NCIS database? So Rubio’s stance is because we don’t know who the 11 million illegal aliens are we need to offer them amnesty and citizenship rather than find and deport. How on earth will be have limited gov’t processing illegal alien amnesty for 11-20 million people and 100 million of their families outside of the US.
If Rubio thinks illegal alien amnesty will solve the problem for the US, he needs to go back to Cuba. So
Sorry Marco I’m not buying what you’re selling on behalf of the vile UpChuck Schumer and Dumb and Dumber.
D & D = McCain & Goober
“We don’t want to wait on legalization” “We don’t want that # to grow” Love this. Nappy has 10 years to come up with a plan (to secure border) and plan to (build fence). They NEVER have to implement the plan.
OneThinDime If there had been any will in our government even before Obama the border could have easily been secured. There is no excuse of any kind by any of them that this hasn’t been done. If this had started full bore in Bush’s first term the border would have been secure before the end of that term. Of course Obama would have opened it up again but there’s a fix for that to.
cabensg OneThinDime My blame starts with Reagan, continues through Clinton, both Bushies and to Obama. They are all responsible. But remember, Bush wanted open borders and amnesty too.
5 years to meet the plans. At 2 million illegals receiving amnesty/year that is 10 million illegals + their family members here and in other countries. Obama will EO anything he doesn’t like. How is he going to track entry on Visas? Is he going to send out search parties to find the VISA overstayers?
OneThinDime that’s my question about the so-called new and improved visa program.
StevenValdez OneThinDime It is very easy to run the VISA software program against the US Customs to find out who didn’t leave. It’s also very easy to run the VISA software program against SS, Medicare, Medicare, Welfare, FoodStamps, Driver’s License databases, etc. We know how they are and where they are. There are 5.2 million illegal aliens in the NCIS firearms background check database. Your name, address, etc. is in that database. Send the military to go and get them, deport them immediately if they cannot show legitimate proof of citizenship. Others will self-deport.
OneThinDime Geesh! You know what I just thought of. What if they’re mostly Muslims? We think illegals from Mexico and S. America are bad but I doubt many of them are subversives who want to take over our country using bombs, intimidation and replacing our laws with Sharia.
cabensgOneThinDimeYou are correct! Here’s some frightening info from ABC on just that! But now they are crickets. http://www.abc15.com/dpp/news/region_central_southern_az/other/terrorists-crossing-az-border-into-u.s.%3F#ixzz2JR4FOVAk
Remember on the other thread I said this immigration bill will be used to offset the negative effects of Obamacare? Well here it is. This seriously screws American workers.
“The bipartisan legislation released Wednesday dictates that those granted provisional legal immigrant status would be treated the same as those “not lawfully present” are treated under the 2010 health law.
That means they would neither be eligible for ObamaCare tax credits nor required to pay an individual tax penalty for failing to obtain qualifying health coverage. It also means some employers would face no penalty for failing to provide such workers affordable health coverage.”
I was just going to post this as well
This alone has put Rubio in my toilet bowl
I am done with him – Obviously he is a sellout!
YoJoe Wiggy111 Yup! It’s basically turning the amnestied illegals into pre-Obamacare employees. It’s great for businesses and legalized immigrants, but it is at the expense of American workers which includes hispanics by the way.
Wiggy111 I’ve said the same a few times on this site as well. That’s by big labor and big business has been pushing it and that’s what is urgent to get it passed before ObamaCare registration begins in October.
his explanations make the problems glaringly obvious..i cannot believe he is pushing this crap
? Expand please….thanks.
Another quote from the IBD analysis:
“Under the immigration reform bill, some employers would have an incentive of up to $3,000 per year to hire a newly legalized immigrant over a U.S. citizen.”
Wiggy111 OMG! What a travesty!
one problem with rubio’s argument is that these illegal entrants come from countries that are NOT constitutional republics!!!! the majority of them have no understanding of America.they will be more accustomed to obama corruption and corruptocrats and much more easliy susceptible to demoncrat liars.
publius69 True! They are coming for free stuff not to work and pay taxes.
HOLD ON! HOLD ON! HOLD ON!
Our current legal immigration system is NOT broken!
The problem is, that it’s not ENFORCED!
There’s a major difference!
stage9 Like, like, like, like and like!!!!!!
You know what this whole thing reminds me of?
I have an autoimmune disorder so I have to take antihistamines to help control it. I have to show umpteen pieces of ID, sign crap, just to get an antihistamine…BUT I CAN WALK OUT TO ANY CORNER AND BUY POT.
That is the brilliance of our government and their legislation. This amnesty bill falls under the same faulty logic just on a much grander scale.
There was only one reason to bring up immigration at this time. One! It’s called Amnesty. There can be no other reason.
I see Stage9 has hit the nail on the head. Nothing is being enforced and nothing will be enforced with this new crap unless it’s to the advantage of leftist to do it.
The border could be secured. Illegals could be taken off of welfare, employers could be penalized for hiring illegals, illegals could be arrested, when found and sent back to where ever they came from, having a green card to work here could be enforced. None of this has been done by Obama with a Democrat Senate and nothing will be done as long as the left is in charge.
There’s only a few new things that need to be added to our laws about immigration. No more anchor babies, no more Muslims and recind the immigration law Kennedy helped to pass.
cabensg This is our rallying cry — everything you’ve written: we will accept nothing less.
cabensg WE WILL ACCEPT NOTHING LESS.
cabensg Amnesty and millions for Rubio.
All I’ve got to say to Rubio is “Peanuts.”
And in the cartoon the actors are: Charles Schumer as Lucy.
Marco Rubio as Charlie Brown.
The old switcheroo football trick
Conservative_Hippie Behind closed doors Schumer is snickering.
Rubio is being used as a pawn by either the GOP or the liberals or both. He just doesn’t get it.
clubgitmo Hell no he doesn’t. And he needs to get his Tea Party membership revoked!
MiltonBassHayek clubgitmo Agreed. Another fraud politician.
clubgitmo Well, that is a generous reading of his comments — that fails to consider the particulars of his actual proposal.
OliviaHT clubgitmo His proposal sucks. Its still amnesty no matter how he spins it.
clubgitmo He gets it all right! He wants to run for president and get the Hispanic vote….and the rino vote….and the do gooder vote….and the conservative vote if he can fool them (us) long enough.
Amjean clubgitmo He’s fooling no one.
clubgitmo No he gets it. He has always wanted to offer HIS own version of the Dream Act. He has just been a Slick Car Salesman and using the TEA Party to advance his own agenda. He must be feeling pretty cocky to expose it this early in the game. Perhaps he is fool enough to believe that we will give him a pass because he brings a ‘Hispanic face’ to the Conservative movement.
JangoBear clubgitmo Agenda being the key word. I do not trust Rubio at all.
Rubio’s a shape-shifter. We need to boot the illegals, plain and simple. Any politician that says that they aren’t doing what they are doing for political reasons are liars. He has lost my support from this interview. He thinks the House is controlled by conservatives?! Is he in need of a drug test? If we legalize 20 million felons, we will see Entitlement spending shoot to 20% of GDP within a few years. Don’t buy this nonsense people. These politicians are trying to legalize welfare recipients!!
We are becoming known as the party of ” what can we give you.” Screw that! We are the party of “get off your lazy ass, contribute to society and lift yourself up, without stealing my damn paycheck.”
The important thing is to get time to get mobilized against this bill and put pressure on our Senators and Representatives to kill it. There is so much going on with the Boston bombings and West, Texas explosions, it is easy for the media to bury the details and run this thing through in the dead of night. Where is Rand Paul on this? Ted Cruz and other Conservatives need a lot of help on this from the public. While the media distracts with other things, this bill is being rushed through while the public is distracted. We need to put forward a “secure the border ” bill and demand that it gets passed before any discussion of any other immigration reforms.
Freedomswatch Not so fast. What we need are Congressional hearings on why our current laws are NOT BEING ENFORCED.
OliviaHT Freedomswatch I agree that the current laws on the books are not being enforced. However, I think with the Boston bombings being so fresh in the public mind, we have an opportunity to change the focus from “comprehensive immigration reform” to “national security border enforcement”. I think that is a good way to get people focused on border security, while putting forward an actual stand alone “secure the border” bill. Thwarting the media’s “obstructionist GOP” narrative.
Freedomswatch OliviaHT Brilliant strategy!!!!! I commend you!!
Freedomswatch OliviaHT Freedomswatch, sir or madam, we have laws already, among them the border fence, the construction of which has been abandoned; our ICE agents have been ordered, for all intents and purpose, to stand down; AZ has been sued for trying to do the job the Feds refuse to do. While I agree that our national security problems are beginning to resonate with people who are paying attention, it’s not a stand alone law we need BUT LOUD AND CONSTANT CRITICISM of this administration for its cavalier attitude toward protecting our population using the means at its disposal: our CURRENT LAWS. Boehner needs to get off his ass and attack the administration for failing to do his job; in fact, this president needs to be IMPEACHED for NOT DEFENDING THE CONSTITUTION.
Freedomswatch OliviaHT He has as little regard for the Constitution as he does for the people of this country.
Freedomswatch Rand Paul seemed to be taking both sides of the issue so it will be interesting.
deTocqueville1 Freedomswatch You might change your opinion if you went to Rand Paul’s website and read what he proposed.
FreedomswatchRand Paul is pro-illegal alien amnesty and already refers to them as undocumented citizens. Here is Ted Cruz (Constitutional of course) http://www.abc15.com/dpp/news/region_central_southern_az/other/terrorists-crossing-az-border-into-u.s.%3F#ixzz2JR4FOVAk
And from Reuters in Feb 2013, majority of Americans want deportation! http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/02/21/us-usa-immigration-idUSBRE91K01A20130221
FreedomswatchHere’s one of the best places I’ve found to take action.
Rubio has joined the ranks of McCain, Toomey and Boehner. Good riddance!
Or, we could start up E-verify and cause these felons to self deport. Problem solved!
MiltonBassHayek There are many business owners that volunteered to help fix the problems with e-Verify and they were ignored.
OneThinDime MiltonBassHayek They probably had to go to sensitivity training.
I think our employee just indirectly gave us an ultimatum, fellow Tea Partiers. You know what we do when our rogue employee gives us an ultimatum? We whip the punk politician into shape. You are going to cause these felons to self deport, you Tea Party traitor!
Rush: “Why can’t we just defeat it? Why do we have to address it because they raise it?”Rubio: “If they raise the issue of immigration, we can’t just vote against it…”Rush: “We did gun control. We just voted down gun control.”Rubio: “Not only have we voted it down, we’ve offered very good alternatives … It’s important to have an alternative. And, I think, unfortunately, on immigration, if it arises, we need to have an alternative, too, because we do have things that are wrong with the immigration system.”
Then, later…Rush: “Why can’t we just oppose something that they propose…? They are proposing things that we intrinsically disagree with. Why can’t we just say ‘no’?”
Rubio: “We have opposed, for example, their infringement on the second amendment.”
So first, Rubio says the GOP offered “alternatives” to gun control, instead of simply opposing it (just say ‘no’). Then he tries to equate the GOP response on gun control as the kind of opposition that Rush is talking about (just say ‘no’). That’s dishonest.
Enforcement of existing law (as written rather than as interpreted by Obama) would radically reduce the magnitude of the problem.
Rubio is either a fool or a lying RINO.
OnTheMark I caught this exchange. Rush caught him here.
OnTheMark Lying RINO for $100 please.
There’s no doubt Rubio is a liar, and he’s been lying from day one.
OnTheMark He is a RINO and a major disappointment.A traitor to the Tea Party without whom he would have never been elected.I guess I shouldn’t be surprised since he is a Bush lackey.
OnTheMark Rubio said, “Oh boo hoo, if the Democrats want something we can’t just oppose them, we need to work with them in a bi-partisan fashion.”
Yes we do! Just like we worked with them all these years until finally they have the exact government they want to control America and Americans like a giant malevolent octopus reaching into every area of our lives.
I don’t want to be deleted so I will not say what I think Rubio can do with his Amnesty.
Rubio is a Bush puppet.Period.
He (Rubio) been assigned by the GOP to keep those pesty TP Conservatives in line. That is why he is on RUSH because he has not hit total RINO status just yet. Wait for 6 months and he will not go near RUSH or LEVIN. Both R & L have not got the RINO memo yet. They will catch on to RUBIO as there audience starts telling and demanding them to call him out !
OUR immigration system is NOT BROKEN!!!!!!!
BINGO- they’re NOT ENFORCED!!!!!!!!!!!! Think about it Rubio. When you have laws that are not enforced, WTH is the point in making new laws that are a burden on citizens, a slap in the face of legal immigrants and doing nothing but rewarding lawbreakers?!!!!
If Rubio really believes what he is saying then he is delusional.
I’m sorry but this is absolute bull crap!! I’ve been reading this monstrosity all freaking day and it’s amnesty!! It behooves you to close the freaking border NOW!! But these commissions have 5 years!? HOW many people stream over in the mean time? And if they don’t do anything in 5 years, what, you’ll form more commissions. this is bull crap.
Enforce the laws that are already in place!Secure the border! No more laws stacked on top of already unenforced laws!WTH is wrong with you lamebrains in DC.?!No amnesty!Period!
No. I refuse to let this go. This is the whole “Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigrtion Modernization Act’’ in plain English:
We have immigration laws which our Federal government has not enforced and has enabled illegal behavior of millions for the past 3 plus decades. They see an opportunity to use their desire for votes of illegals to grant permanent status through a so called pathway. The republicans are using them to get the “Hispanic” vote, but they never will. The democrats are using them to get the “Hispanic” vote, and will…
This is a way to erase the fact that our government has been severely negligent in their duty to secure and enforce the laws of America- by making new laws, which out of ignorance, stupidity, greed, ambition and downright deception depending on the people voting on this, know damn well that no one will obey this one who have not obeyed the one already in place.
this is bull crap.
AmericanborninCanada I agree completely.Well said Duckie!
57thunderbird AmericanborninCanada Thank you brother. This is got my feathers up in a big way.
AmericanborninCanada 57thunderbird Me too!
1) History tells us that there are no votes to be gained or lost in the immigration game for either party. Even in the Hispanic community.
2) Yeah we’ve ignored our own laws for years and its created a giant problem that current laws and infrastructure aren’t equipped to handle. So if you’re going to slam on the Rubio plan, please tell me your practical, realistic, alternative method to deal with the massive illegal population.
3) The legislature is not in charge of making sure people follow laws. Their only job is to make good law. Hopefully the next administration will actually follow it. Dont pin executive failure on the lege.
4) This is not about erasing history. This is about providing a practical solution for an out of control problem. At least for Rubio it is. I don’t pretend to understand some of the other’s motives. It’s also about taking back the n narrative
cherpers If we were going to truly take back the narrative on it, we’d be telling them to implement the laws we have now. Start with building the “fence” and put more guards, armed, along the whole border. Next, do away with using the 14th Amendment as an excuse to allow pregnant women to come across, go to the nearest hospital and give birth to an “anchor baby”. Cut off all welfare and social programs to illegals, and that will cause many to go back to where they came from. That’s a start. Then enforce the laws already there. There is no reason to create a new law when the old law is still there but ignored.
I agree its a start but it doesn’t address what to do with the massive illegal presence already here. Seeing as net immigration from Mexico is negative now, I think what to with people here already is possibly the most important part of this conversation. It cannot be ignored. I cant take someone seriously if they arent willing to tackle that problem.
cherpers You don’t call cutting welfare to all illegals, stopping “anchor babies” and building a proper border alternatives or solutions? If they immediately cut all welfare and social programs to illegals, that would force many to leave. Take those who are in our prisons and deport them. Those who have over stayed their visas- deport them. Enforce the laws. Build a secure border. How many more solutions do we need? The amnesty bill the gang of 8 have proposed will do none of this, and it’s ridiculous to talk and form committees to talk about it when all they have to do is what I have said already and enforce what’s there on the books already.
Millions still come here the proper way- it’s time to close the border and kick the ones here illegally out.
Of course those things are important parts of the solution but 1) they aren’t alternatives because most of those things are in the Rubio bill already and 2)it still isn’t a practical solution for the millions already here. It would help no doubt but the scope of the problem demands a big solution. Current laws and infrastructure are not able to deal with that volume of people. So that leaves us with mass amnesty or mass deportation or a combination of the two. It’s delusional to think that 11 million or more will self deport our get deported by the current system in any sort of timely manner.
In answer to
your “Current laws and infrastructure are not able to deal with that volume of
people.” – If provided with the resources by the Congress (funding for
equipment and people, training, and whatever else is deemed required), then no
new laws are needed for enforcement of stopping illegal’s at the border.Agree, we do need a scope of comprehensive
laws for a path for the 11 million that are here now.We need to be humane, yet firm and fair in
getting these folks to come forward so that we can assist them to become
citizens. However, not at the cost of
legal immigrants who have decided to obey our laws and the current path to
citizenship.If the current path needs
modification because it is cumbersome, then that is a separate issue from the
illegal immigration problem.Now, the
Rubio plan is not perfect, but it has some good aspects that I could live with,
and I believe most Americans can.I
think all Americans can relate to immigration because there are still a lot of
us that have parents or grandparents that arrived here from another country and
understand the reasons for wanting to be in this country. My wife and I take in foreign students who
come here to go to school to learn English. All of them have said that in their country, it is “everyone’s dream” to
live in the U.S.Unless I am a naive optimist,
it seems to me that 98% of those here illegally would have done whatever it
takes to become a citizen if they themselves had the resources; and, if the
Congress had properly resourced the current (apparently broken) infrastructure,
the illegal problem would be virtually a non-starter. So, in sum – 1) The
Congress has to stop paying lip service to this problem (I am tired of them sitting
around using it as a political football; 2) Congress must provide additional funding
for the current process and infrastructure; and 3) Congress must provide the
funding for any new process that does something for the 11 million with an
outcome being a consistent, well funded, humane way for people to immigrate to
this country legally.I still believe
bringing home the troops to secure the border is a good idea.
“all Americans can relate to immigration because there are still a lot of
us that have parents or grandparents that arrived here from another country and understand the reasons for wanting to be in this country”
As a LEGAL immigrant myself, I completely understand why people come to America, and I also understand the frustration of others like myself who see this as a slap in the face.
The fact is, that those of us who come to America the legal way is because we honor and respect this nation and realize that things worth having are worth fighting and working for. So many illegals don’t care about our laws because they don’t respect the Nation, the people, the heritage or the laws- they want a better life. period.
Our Immigration system is not broken. It is hard, but it is not broken. It is not so hard that it’s impossible. We have laws that aren’t even as strict as other nations immigration laws. Have you ever read Mexico’s immigration laws? It’s an eye opener.
As for this bill, this is what is wrong with it: http://politichicks.tv/column/the-gang-of-8-and-the-economic-opportunity-amnesty-plan/
Remember Nancy Reagan’s anti-drug slogan?Just say no!!How difficult is that Marco?
Jim DeMint has come out against the bill. If the heat gets enough and Rubio really is thinking about a Presidential run in 2016 he may just be persuaded to use his “border enforcement first or I walk” to drop this bill and leave it dead in the water. It is clear that this bill has no enforcement teeth whatsoever. Rubio needs to feel the heat: http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/345910/demint-vs-Rubio.
… a simple NO to any amnesty and bring the troops home from the middle east to secure the southern border . as for all the illegal aliens that are here two options 1. 72 hours to leave ,or 2. to be prosecuted to the full extent of the L A W .”(period)
LIBERTYUSA You are exactly right on the money. The laws are already there. To me, Rubio talked about “if DHS fails, turn it over to the state govs”. Why not now? Arizona & Texas can handle it IF GIVEN FULL CONTROL and the RESOURCES (funding). I am sure the troops would love to come home and secure the border. Piece of cake to them compared to potential IEDs everywhere. Bring ‘em home. Let them do their job like they know how. Ain’t it a shame when all ya have to do is enforce current laws.
I’m actually quite surprised the Democrats are effectively supporting a bill that would effectively decimate “low wage and low skill” labor force in America. These are jobs that our youth should be taking and now they are socially engineering it away to illegal immigrants. No more Amnesty, no social programs to help people that by all rights SHOULD NOT BE HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. These are our rules and as far as I’m concerned, I don’t see why we have to be held hostage by what could be considered an uncoordinated pillaging of our country.
well said Duckbill…be very afraid…
first, a major premise, one that is not open to any negotiation, is border security. this should never have been allowed to be tethered to immigration reform. for our country this is an issue of border integrity and national sovereignty. another premise is to look beyond the bill and look at who is aggressively pushing the bill: schumer, durbin et al. these are not benevolent patriots they are committed leftists that are pushing an agenda that is not healthy for our country
Rubio’s statement that the immigration system is totally family based is highly inaccurate. A large part of the immigration schemata is non immigrant and business based. rubio’s statement that the system is only based on family connections is demonstrably false. His statement that these people come from big government countries and that once exposed to free enterprise will suddenly have a conversion is not true. Some might but the vast majority come from countries that make them susceptible to the lies and deceits democrats offer through their twisted policies.
he states we need limited government: very true, but an 800 page bill is not limited government. Now, onto his explanation of the bill: at about 7:48 he says his original position was border security first then legalization, now he has flipped.then he says he doesnt want the problem to get worse. How will it improve when people know there is amnesty waiting for them…oops i mean legalization. the canard is having to prove physical presence. unfortunately this opens the door to fraud. he says “it gets tricky (about 8:08 min). if this doesn’t raise flags then nothing will. but it gets worse. this bill gives DHS 5 years to act. they are relying on the same agency that circumvented congress with the DACA scheme, the same agency that won’t allow its agents to enforce the law and won’t support it front line people to do their jobs? The same DHS that is as corrupt and politically driven as the DOJ? A lot of damage will be done in 5 years. who is going to be appointed to this oversight group and who will be appointed from GAO? if rubio has such confidence in the governers’ commission taking over for DHS when it fails, why not start by giving them authority?
there are already laws that address hiring of illegals. why add redundant laws? use what you have!
“PRI” status?! whatever could that be?
at 12:37 47-48% don’t pay taxes. Most of the illegals fall into this category and most in fact get $ back for the earned income. what motivation do the majority of these people have for not supporting democrats when they hand out our $ to maintain their power.
in sum, people need to look at the 800 pages…it is beyond the scope of this post and there will be plenty of objective analysis.
Haven’t listened to the whole thing, only a few minutes while in the car. But I did hear him say “I’m not doing this for political reasons”. Please tell me I’m not the only one who doesn’t buy this. It is quite obvious that he intends to run for president, and if that isn’t political motivation, then I don’t know what is.
nosilasunny II can’t figure out who’s donating to him, but he racked up $2.5 M the first quarter of this year.
Blech. I wouldn’t vote for him.
That is the lure of the GOP whom he just sold out to. If dollars and money could vote Mittens would be President today !!!!1 It is important but not as important as the message if you have one.
The system is not broken………..it is not enforced! PERIOD!
Rubio’s plan to be President is dead. He is not even a natural born citizen. Was he ever asked about Obama’s Aunt Zeituni living off the taxpayers illegally for well over 20 in Boston?
Rubio is going to look back at this as his single biggest political mistake. It’s a shame. He had great potential, but just didn’t have the intestinal fortitude it takes to tow the conservative line these days. Any politician who thinks he can work something reasonable out of the likes of Chuck Schumer and his ilk has got some growing up to do.
MontyRay Agreed in whole. I know it’s difficult to rage against the machine, but you have to have lines you won’t cross for anyone if you’re gonna push back.
It is called being co opted by the GOP or the DC disease. Most get it but it usually takes a while however it is getting under control with the likes of Cruz, Lee, Scott and hopefully some more. Our guy here in PA ( Tommey) got it real bad and will be history in 2016.
Rush may look back on this as his biggest political mistake. I’ve about had it with Rush.
ellebb Rush’s biggest mistake? Please explain.
clubgitmo ellebb Yah, I don’t see how this will hurt Rush… at all. Even if it was a mistake, he’s been on the radio so long, and has such a huge audience of people that understand him, I doubt it’d make any waves whatsoever. Even the Fluke thing didn’t really do anything to his career. So, again, as clubgitmo asked, how will this do anything to his career?…
bfunk clubgitmo ellebb Why would Rush’s interview with Rubio hurt him? Still don’t understand why anyone would think this.
Don’t give up on RUSH! He is 99.7% right most of the time and he admints that number. This thing with Rubio is the .3 % he is wrong. Hang in there !!!
I already emailed my two Senators and instructed them (they work for me) that there can be NO dealing with any sort of amnesty or forgiveness or whatever until and unless the border is SEALED TIGHT, period. Rubio has, I believe gone over to the dark side on this in an effort to curry favor with Dems and work to be elected president. It won’t work with me.
