  • It was a great interview and enjoyed the continue success that Senator Paul is receiving by communicating what is actually transpiring.

Yes, it is about time someone does the American thing and stand up to tyranny and defend the Constitution.

    Thank you, Senator Rand Paul!!!!

    • JohnCraven

      Ditto! Ditto! Ditto!

And in a way Sen. Paul’s epic filibuster continues as we speak through outlets such as Rush’s show and The Right Scoop and the Twitter Universe.

I loved how Sen. Ted Cruz read those Tweets to #StandWithRand on the floor of the Senate and how Sen. Cruz noted that even while he was filibustering Sen. Paul managed to re-Tweet something he had Tweeted before with a sly grin.

The old bulls, as Rush calls them, got home from smoozing with Ceasar Nero Obama to find their lounge lizard chairs all thrown out on the porch while the Young Turks had at with Obama and so far, at least, Nero Obama has launched any drone attacks on them today. Now, tomorrow might be different and Nero Obama might drone Rand Paul and Ted Cruz at a burger king somewhere on the pretext that they got more than the 16 oz drinks that Nanny Doomberg in New York would allow but tomorrow’s always another day.

I also noted how this young lady, a life long Republican, and her husband, also a life long Republican, called Rush after the Rand Paul interview to say how both she and her husband have changed their party affiliation to Independent from Republican.

Rest assured I and many others will be doing the same unless we have a genuine alternative conservative party to join which will stand up to the ruling classes in both the Democrat and Republican Parties.

already late in the day for those who love
life and cherish the rights of all to leave

  • Did Rand Paul finally get his answer?

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney quoted from the letter that Holder sent to Paul today. “Does the president have the authority to use a weaponized drone to kill an American not engaged in combat on an American soil,” Holder wrote, per Carney. “The answer is no.”

Carney added that, “if the United States were under attack, there were an imminent threat,” the president has the authority to protect the country from that assault.

Now was that so hard WH? Thanks for letting Rand Paul go for almost 13 hours yesterday..

    • I think though that Sen. Paul would like them to say that it is not Constitutional. So, though he says no now, we have seen this administration do a 180 faster than a RINO denigrating a fellow Republican.

      • deeme

Exactly we can’t take them at their word anyways..

    • Next step: oversight!

    • aposematic

With 1.6Billion hollow point rounds (cannot legally be used in foreign wars) and 2700 armored domestic tanks/personnel carriers, Drones; one might wonder just from whom this Admin. expects an attack; a foreign enemy invasion, a domestic enemy (who makes that call), or Americans’ exercising their Second Amend. Rights.

      • deeme

If they take the house in 2014 , we will see who they really are and they will need them against all of U.S….

    • JohnCraven

This was a public relations coup for Rand Paul and Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio and all of those who stood with Rand and a public relations disaster for the lord messiah Barack Hussein Obama, the most merciful, because Nero Obama had his whole drone program and all of his other insane policies handed to him on a silver platter along with his head.

As Sen. Paul pointed out today, drone technology is important and a great tool for coming to the aid of our soldiers under assault and should have been used to help those two Navy seals who tried to rescue Ambassador Stephens in Benghazi, libya, but when they are used to kill people who aren’t actively engaged in combat either here or abroad, then they destroy information and vital intelligence when they kill their targets.

What is worse a blatant enemy like 0b0 Fuehrer; or

Two wolves in sheep’s clothing like Gramnesty and McCain’t eating their (supposedly) own.

They have never served their purpose and both should be tarred, feathered and run out of town on a rail.

Way to go Rand! … GREAT Interview RUSH!

    • PhillyCon

Now was that so hard WH?

Actually, was that so hard Republicans? See, its possible to oppose Obama and win.

It also cut into his poll numbers. Wow, Obama is not made of steel! Who would have thunk it!

      • cabensg

Poll numbers is why he invited Republicans to dine with him.

    • johnfromjersey

By Senator Paul doing what he did, he opened up a can of worms that this President wanted to keep in hiding. His kinglyness doesn’t want, and believes that he shouldn’t ever be questioned. He, (Obama), has been taught from an early age that America is broken, and the way to fix her is by a more socialistic approach. Rand Paul as much as told the President to go pound sand.

      • Amjean

Good insight. I agree with you. Now, they just have to keep at it.

    • cabensg

Carney may be the official mouth piece of the administration but I’m sure Paul want’s the answer from Obama personally and I wouldn’t be surprised if he pushed for that. In fact he should.

Would it surprise anyone if Obama goes ahead and does what ever he wants, like he has on many occasions and then says Carney misspoke, or didn’t have all the facts. We know under Obama’s bus there is infinite space.

It has to be on the record that it came personally from Obama so he is the one to be held responsible. We know his oath of office was meaningless or this wouldn’t even be an issue.

my roomate’s mother-in-law makes $87 an hour on the internet. She has been fired for 9 months but last month her income was $21784 just working on the internet for a few hours. Here’s the site to read more http://bit.ly/RFum8X

  • WOW! i give Scoop credit. You got that up fast!

    It was a great interview.

    • OneThinDime

This interview with Rush and an Open Thread of the filibuster! I missed part of it yesterday and am glad there is a site with the links for now and during the 2014 and 2016 elections for reference!

  • Rand Paul is now the leader of the conservative movement in America. Shows you just how effective elected Tea Party politicians can be when they are allowed to stand up and say what’s on their mind. People all over America are yearning for this. It is literally giving a voice to millions of conservatives who have been so let down by the Republican party over the last few years. Forget about who is “electable.” Stand for something and promote your core values and people will follow. The trick is deciding NOT to play it safe and taking that first step in standing for something. Rand Paul has already taken that first step.

    • JohnCraven

Ted Cruz is also right up there with Rand Paul and to my way of thinking either of them could win the presidency as either an Independent candidate or an alternative third party Conservative candidate.

Neither one of them could even win the nomination for the Republican Party. Karl Rove and the Big Whigs like McCain, and Grahamnesty and Boner won’t allow it under all circumstance even if the TEA Party were to rise up in mass and primary every Big Whig candidate and defeat them all, the Big Whiggers like Karl Rove and his bank rollers will never allow Paul or Cruz and probably not Rubio either to ever win the GOP nomination for president.

That possibility was filibustered to a stop last night while McCain and the olde guard were out playing footsies with Nero Obama and I am glad and proud for Rand Paul that it was.

      • Amjean

I disagree. Oh, yes we can! We have voices and money too. Don’t count
the conservatives out. We rose up for 2010 and we will rise up for 2014
and 2016. I suspect that many disgusted dems will secretly join us.

  • Dukehoopsfan

Supposed conservative senators McCain and Graham should just go ahead and switch party affiliations. They are completely out of touch with red state voters.

    • OneThinDime

Not just red state voters but also conservatives stuck in blue states

      • Dukehoopsfan

        Good point!

    • Respectfully, Sen. McCain and Sen. Graham are not well known for being conservative, Moderate maybe yes, but conservative, don’t think so. So with that in mind if they were to switch parties the conservativies would only lose 1 conservative divideded by 2 moderates would = 1 conservative.

ok no more math class ((:

      • Dukehoopsfan

They both remind me of those computer caricatures people do on jibjab whenthey start hopping up and down.

  • PhillyCon

What a shock! Someone takes on Obama and the RINOs and lives to tell about it. Plus, this person actually wins the communications war.

    So opposing (and/or fighting) works??!!

    • cabensg

Don’t forget it isn’t just communicating. Anyone can get up and yammer on about something. To win you have to know how to articulate your ideas and be intelligent enough to do so and Rand and Cruz are among the best we have.

      • Amjean

Weren’t they just awesome! And such a command of facts and figures that it
        was mind boggling.

      • PhillyCon

Well, that goes without saying. It’s more than intelligence, it’s having the courage to fight, IMO.

  • deeme

Rush you made me laugh today when you impersonated McCain your McCain and your Clinton are too much…I am really sad that the establishment Republicans can’t see who these people are we are dealing with..it makes me sad that they could possibly be that naive..that they don’t understand the seriousness of what is happening little by little..Paul is defending the Constitution and it is long past the time for that to happen..

  • jimmy travis

Lindsay Graham (Stan Laurel) tells Rand Paul that he is “ridiculous”which is funny coming out of his cake hole. And John McCain (Oliver Hardy) tells him to go “calm down”. Jesus Christ! Well, The Tea Party tells the both of them to take their thirty pieces of silver and go away. These two guys are just “old and in the way”. Step aside you two, it’s time for the first day of school. In Persian it’s called “shamat” or checkmate “Jimmy Travis” on Facebook. He’s the National Anthem, so stand up and salute. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjaMHASHeFw
