Wow. David Horowitz really tells it like it is. I’m not sure why AFP Foundation didn’t put this speech on their Youtube Channel but it’s awesome. Here’s an excerpt someone sent me on the tip line:

“The reason why we have not attacked him is obvious to everyone, but no one will say it out loud. I will. The reason no one is willing to confront Obama the way he deserves to be confronted is because the color of his skin is black. Actually he is half black, raised by whites and one Indonesian. But no matter, since racist liberals have made the color of one’s skin all that matters. It is because Obama is a minority that no one will hold him to a common standard; or confront him with what he has actually done. Any political consultant will tell you that you can’t. This is how race conscious and race-prejudiced our country has become. This is why we lose elections. Because what is true of Obama is true of the Democratic Party and the liberals and socialists generally. They present themselves as the defenders of minorities. Whenever they are attacked, they use minorities as human shields, so they can call their opponents racist. If we can’t hold Obama accountable, how can we hold any Democrat, any liberal or any socialist accountable? Because this is how they fight, and will do so until we have a counter-strategy to neutralize their attacks.”

David Horowitz is my hero, I love this man.

  • odin147

    I second his speech.

  • LIBERTYUSA

…as Rush L. would say” Right On , David , Right On , Right ON !”

  • K-Bob

I’ve encountered some solid conservatives that have decided Horowitz is “commie pinko scum.”
As far as I’m concerned, Horowitz is one of the more effective fighters out there for the right of conservative ideas to be allowed in the public forum.  Especially university campuses.
Sometimes I just don’t get Conservatives.

  • Rshill7

I’ll wager many a note were taken from this speech, and justifiably so. It was like Rock’em Sock’em Robots with only one player on one set of the controls, and the Blue boxer’s head kept popping up while being bashed back down, but only so it could pop up again.
Like it. Agreed with it. Every democrat should hear it and shake hands with reality. Reality has a shocking little hand buzzer in it’s grasp though. It also has a whoopy cushion in your favorite chair.

  • notsofastthere

Horowitz is an inspiration. He has the guts to tell the truth, and is fearless in his delivery. NOW, THAT’S A LEADER, and he got it right as to why the Republicans lost the last two presidential elections.

So glad David came to his senses years ago!   His website is great and spreads the truth.

  • Objective Analysis

    agree wholeheartedly

  • Marcus3127

K-Bob Maybe your definition of a ‘solid conservative’ should be changed. I don’t see how anybody except a leftist or a RINO could possible disagree with Horowitz. I read his autobiography (Radical Son) and he came from a family of communists and was one himself for years until he couldn’t shut his eyes to the truth any longer. He knows exactly how they think and scheme.

  • palintologist

K-Bob His detractors say he’s still a flaming liberal on social concerns.

  • PVG

    BRAVO!!! HALLELUJAH AND AMEN!!

  • KenInIl

How is it Gutfeld, the clown, got to ramble for 40 min and Horowitz got 10??

  • PVG

KenInIl Great question! I was wondering the same………………….

  • slhancock1948

A great Patriot!  He has been fighting for America for years.  He has put up with every kind of abuse man can contrive, but he has stayed steadfast!  Thank you, David!  Thank you for not shrugging your shoulders back when few were seeing the left’s destruction!  You have such great insight and wisdom!  God bless!

  • BS61

And I like Gutfeld, but I agree the speach was not great!

  • BS61

This should be requred listening for the GOP!  Horowitz is so intelligent and invaluable.  I like him sooooo much and loved him in the occupy movie – I went hoping to finally figure out what drives anarchist when David explained that they just want to destroy.  Couldn’t relate since I go then what?!
I’m still very upset and sadly so at he and Ron Radash’s take down of Diana West whom I also enjoy and  speaks out often on Saudi Arabia, rarely covered at Fox News – so much so they scrubbed that Todd Starnes article on the Saudi after the Boston bombing!

  • deTocqueville1

Thanks so much scoop. This is bold and fearless truth. Sarah Palin wanted to attack Obama on his record and she was not allowed to do so by McCain and his advisors, principally Schmidt and Wallace. The democrats knew she was the greatest threat to them and I believe it was Plouffe or perhaps one of the others who was said to have told Obama after the Palin convention speech: You just lost the election! It is why they attacked her relentlessly during the campaign. It is why they hounded her from office with frivolous and vexatious ethics suits. It was why they wanted her emails. And, sad to say it is why the establishment RINOs hate her. It is the threat she poses by calling them all out relentlessly.
But they failed. She battled and she has grown ever stronger with time. She has spoken fearlessly about him and the failed and dangerous policies. Horowitz gets it, Cruz gets it and others are coming on side and the whole movement is growing. levin’s new book will make an enormous difference and will have a lasting impact.
No more lame pussy footing around! This is what K-Bob’s piece was about also.

  • Scolded for the Truth

    I’m onboard with you, David!

  • deTocqueville1

    slhancock1948 He is indeed!

  • deTocqueville1

KenInIl Great question. Gutfield is in love with himself.

  • deTocqueville1

K-Bob How on earth can they be considered ‘solid conservatives’? More like Neanderthals perhaps.

  • deTocqueville1

    Marcus3127 Agreed.

  • paleophlatus

Horowitz says more in 10 minutes than Gutfeld does in ….most discussions.

  • sybilll

Just a reminder that some of our staunchest allies are converts from the Left, as is David. If you see/hear someone struggling to make the transition, guide them through gently and positively.

  • paleophlatus

Listen to Horowitz recount his background. It sounds like the guidebook for a “true blue, full blown liberal family of the ’60s”. He has led the charge on the threat of liberalist teachers in our colleges since the late ’80s. Something apparently didn’t sit quite right in his upbringing. Society has been reluctant to forgive him for having such parents as he had, but is beginning to recognize him for what we saw in this video…he cares and is eager to share his concerns.

  • Leel004

I agree that the prez is NOT criticized because he is black-ish, BUT…there is no doubt in my mind that if… (or should I say WHEN Mr. West is Pres??)., there WILL be no boundaries or territory that he will NOT be criticized.

  • jamesbotts16309

BO in 2008 got 70 million of them. GOP got 59 million. 71 million voters were either too lazy to vote or voted 3rd party.
In 2012 BO got 65 million, Romney got 60 million. 75 million voters were either too lazy to vote or voted 3rd party.
What really bugs the heck out of me is, in 2012 the “people” had 4 years to figure out who this guy was. And after 4 years 75 million voters either still couldn’t figure it out or simply didn’t care.

  • K-Bob

    jamesbotts16309
Don’t forget the massive vote fraud.

  • K-Bob

    Marcus3127 K-Bob
No, I trust the people I’m talking about. But you know how it is.  Sometimes a person gets a notion, and the actual end times would have to happen in order for them to be willing to change their mind.
I never understood holding so tightly to an idea that you fear that upon losing it, you lose a part of you.  But you can find folks like that anywhere in the complete political spectrum.

  • K-Bob

    palintologist K-Bob
Yeah. But I don’t see him crusading for gay marriage or legal prostitution or whatever, or even amnesty.  (I have no idea what he thinks about those, really.) What he does is stay on message most of the time, which is usually about countering the jihad, and allowing conservatives to speak without prejudice.

  • JD Olson

Great speech!! He looks like either Lenin or Freud. I haven’t decided yet.

  • MtnCougar

    K-Bob jamesbotts16309
Glad you comment on that. I’m obviously a nutcase, thinking that we didn’t actually lose the election by valid vote, but by fraud (I’m kinda tired of all the Republican navel-gazing about why-we-lost-the-election).
Glad Scoop liked the Horowitz video tip, I read the transcript and was blown away so I scoured the net to find the video and then of course once hearing it, had to share.
    Things are changing.

  • K-Bob

    MtnCougarK-Bobjamesbotts16309
“I’m kinda tired of all the Republican navel-gazing about why-we-lost-the-election”
For sure.  The only thing they’ve come up with after months and months of that is navel lint.

    Exactomundo!
We have gutless pols & “news” media that refuse to call out evil (including pushing racism)…and that is what leftism is under its’ various brand names – liberal, socialist, communist, marxist, nazi, fascist, islam/muslime, etc

  • stevobudin

Its not about liking romney. It’s about organization. The dems have institutionalized campaigning with govt funded groups that just get the vote out. Busing voters, paying off voters with welfare and unemployment. Using food stamps, not as a hand up during tough times, but as a foot on the throat of voters and citezens alike

  • RReaganRepublic

    Quote-
“The American people will never knowingly adopt
Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of
the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist Nation,
    without knowing how it happened.”
    Norman
Thomas – American Socialist Marxist Leader of the early 20th century

    It
has been Conservatives like Ronald Reagan, that have been at front lines of
this battle against liberals / the Democrat Party and their ideological
philosophy of big centralized govt, that controls every aspect of every
person’s life, their property, and the environment and Nation we live in,
leaving in their wake of destruction, nothing but poverty, urban blithe, mass
    unemployment, misery, hopelessness and despair.
Liberal Fascism / Socialist Marxism is not just an annoyance of differing political views and positions- it’s like a religion to the them, like Islam. But worse, it’s a cancer on the very core, heart and soul of America. Liberals and their indoctrinated ideology are parasites within this nation.. And if we do not mount a committed counter offensive strategy and tactic against them, and soon, they will completely destroy this Republic, and all that America stands for, and ever stood for.
    quote-
“I do not believe in a fate that will fall on us no matter what we do. I do believe in a fate that will fall on us if we do nothing.”
~ US President Ronald Wilson Reagan~

  • Laurel A

But dear David….you joined them in attacking and playing the race card when you attacked George Zimmerman before the trail was barely even underway.
Then we have your suspicious attack on Diana West as well. You claim to be against academia but operate at the same level.

  • JaniceDura

I agree with you…why wasn’t Gov Palin speaking?

  • kong1967

Republicans don’t have the nads to do what Horowitz says.  They are choosing the easier route of trying to better panderers than the Democrats.  Democrats are what’s wrong with this country because they buy votes by selling us out.  Republicans decided they don’t want to be beat at that game instead of doing the right thing.  They may be gaining a (very) few minority votes, but they are losing a ton of us in the process.

  • KenInIl

Leel004 Remember, he is half-white — like that “white” kid that murdered Chris Lane for fun.

  • KenInIl

deTocqueville1 KenInIl I really think he was clueless as to what to talk about in front of this crowd and so he gave an “up from the trenches”, American dream, type speech.

  • JohnDavidson1

We need to stop electing cowards to represent our interests in Washington. He’s is right and always has been, but ignored just as most of us are now.

  • Las1

Excellent rant there Mr. Horowitz.  We need to combine your strategy to go on the offense with Bill Whittle’s strategy to take over Hollywood and retake the culture.

  • buckthorn

Laurel A   True on both accounts.  I guess no one is perfect.  I still agree with his slams against The Left.

  • Laurel A

buckthorn Laurel A I don’t require perfection but I do require someone not be a hypocrite lest he put his credibility in danger.

  • DINOright

That is great!  Can you get the entire speech to be posted online, Scoop?  If so, please update!!  Powerful, TRUE stuff from David Horowitz!!

  • pmyers1934

Wow. If only our Republican leaders could do this – speak the truth without reservation.

  • DebbyX

    YEAH BABY!!!!

JD Olson Perhaps Frenin or Leud then? No, really. Colonel Neville.
