I haven’t seen it yet but I’ve heard that Marco Rubio gave a soaring speech today at CPAC. You can watch it below:

Say what you will on his immigration position, I love this guy. RUBIO!!

    • Jayrae

DarkKnight2016 Take him. He’s yours. This Floridian is done with him. Talks like Reagan, votes like Bush. All talk, no action.

      • StevenValdez

Jayrae Ouch, “talks like Reagan, votes like Bush”

        • CarolynDixon

StevenValdez Jayrae and voted for brennan, hagel and other liberal nominess.

        • Jayrae

StevenValdezJayrae It was the vote for Jack Lew that was the final nail in the coffin for me. When a far left rag like “The New Republic” calls Democrats hypocrites foe bashing Romney but yet voting for Lew you know Jeb’s Waterboy wasted a golden opportunity  and he sold out for the corrupt Bush Wall Street rolodex.

I’m not buying Rubio’s drama any longer. He’s full if it!It’s way past time for him to put up or shut up.

        I am Floridian, Ditto.

I wish he’d stop with those water-jokes. Once or twice is ok, but he seems to do it every time there’s a TV camera around. It’s a distraction from what he has to say.

    • StevenValdez

colliemum that joke seemed kind of forced on him, but I see your point, it does seem he’s always joking about drinking water..

    Awesome Rubio speech at CPAC…
Too bad Sen. Rubio was born in Florida BEFORE his parents were naturalized as U.S. citizens.

ajtelles I hope he runs for prez so perhaps the NBC will be settled once and for all.

        Dittos…
The Obama ‘birthers’ would probably say that since Rubio is not a ‘natural born Citizen’ he is not eligible to be POTUS… and the word ‘birther’ would then be a good thing again, just like ‘birther’ was a good thing when the Democrats were challenging Sen. McCain’s eligibility.

Seems the water joke is appropriate… it’s a mockery of the left who obsesses over the stupidest things.  besides that, the speech was excellente’.

  • aposematic

An inspiring speech stressing American exceptionalism.

  • Very good speech giving us real hope, not the manufactured kind that Obama sells all the time. Rubio has a real future ahead of him.

  • StevenValdez

Best part of this speech for me was the when he was talking about US vs China, who do you want leading the World, America or China. Unfortunately the demise of the US losing it’s grip as the world power status, with our unsustainable economy is much worse than China leading the world, it’s the new world order leading it.

Great Speech! Now if we can see this great speaker help in the fight to impeach Obama that would be even greater.

Above the comment section, where you make a new comment go there by your name and it says Edit Profile: It will send you to your account profile and then you will see a section for:
E-mail Notifications: click that and there it says “e-mail me when”: and you just select e-mail me: “never” and then select update. and then your won’t get e-mail notifications

I went in there but didn’t see that. Will look again. Thank you very much.

I’m sure we all have our varying opinions of Paul, Ryan, Rubio, West, Cruz, Scott, etc. but the sum of these men is the result of a conservative movement that is a bright hope swelling in an political environment devoid of that hope, common sense, and practicality.  These men (although their political positions and ability are not all the same) are evidence that this fight is not over…and really has only begun.

It looks like the placement of the teleprompters are going to give them whiplash.

  • sybilll

Watching Rubio, Cruz, Lee, Paul and West is giving me flashbacks of having to choose who amongst my best friends would be my bridesmaids. (Yeah I know they are dudes, but still).   I’d be honored to be on the arm of any of them when we get to the big dance in 2016.

  • cherpers

So great. This man could win us a Presidential election. He connects well with two of the most important demographics that the right needs to take from the dems. Hispanics and young people. And he completely understands how to message conservatism.

  • rocco11

Speeches are great, but when you vote to confirm a card carrying communist like John Brennan, and literally slobber all over Hillary Clinton during the Benghazi hearings, forgive me for not doing backflips over this guy.

  • 2yves

I listen to what they say and then check if their voting records are consistent with what they tell us. I am tired of being lied to and manipulated. We were stuck with Romney and didn’t have much of a choice. Are we going to allow this to happen again? Are we going to allow ourselves to be manipulated into having to choose between Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton? I don’t trust that it is not the direction we are heading into as they work to destroy anyone who would oppose the Republicrat agenda like what they are doing to Ted Cruz.
