Religion of Peace strikes again:
CBN NEWS – For the second time in two weeks, Gaza’s Christians are publicly accusing Muslims of forcing members of their faith to convert to Islam.
The protests came after two believers announced their conversion to Islam. They say they became Muslims of their own free will.
But Christian members of the community insisted the two had been forced to convert. Leaders say radical Islamists are increasingly putting pressure on Christians in Gaza to become Muslims or leave.
The situation has Gaza Christians fearing for their community’s survival.
“We aren’t safe anymore,” Josef Elias, a 44-year-old Christian from Gaza City said. “This is a conspiracy against our existence in the Holy Land.”
Currently, there are fewer than 3,000 Christians living among Gaza’s 1.7 million Muslims and their numbers are shrinking.
