George Will explains depth of Obama’s rhetorical power

Yesterday George Will captured quite well the depth of Obama’s powers of persuasion by noting the many times he’s depended on his rhetorical ‘gift’ and the outcomes that followed (via BBTV):

I couldn’t have put it better myself. Many of us said early on that Obama was an empty suit and after three years of watching our Teleprompter-in-Chief try and wave his rhetorical wand over the masses, it’s clear that he only has the power to persuade those who don’t need much persuasion, those we like to affectionately call “useful idiots”.
