George Will: Fox better off without Glenn Beck

George Will was asked this morning on America’s Morning News how he felt about Beck ‘leaving’ Fox. Interesting how this is being spun, as Beck has made it clear he isn’t leaving per se but transitioning to new projects. In any event, Will’s response was that Fox will be better off without all the crazy from Beck and it will only help their reputation:

While I don’t watch Beck’s show anymore, I know that he has exposed more as a host of his show than anyone else on any other network or newspaper for that matter, including columnist George Will. I’ve learned more about our enemies in America and the world from Beck than from anyone else. But I guess to someone like George Will, who probably still believes that Egypt’s revolution is about true democracy and freedom, all of that is meaningless.

Sure, Beck’s made mistakes and he’s owned up to them. He’s been relentlessly attacked by the Left because he keeps exposing them and it seems like George Will is buying right into their attacks on Beck, just like he buys into the attacks on Palin.
