Will the show have sarcastic results by lefty standards:
After the best is determined, there will be no winner, & the prize will be distributed equally or even larger portions to thow of lessor quality?
As a young Conervative I am disturb with Newt and call for republicans to have a bigger tent. In addition, Newt supported many moderates in the past. Finally, Newt is a think in the past. Conservatives need people like Allen West, Marco Rubio and Rand Paul who stick with principle over politcs unlike Newt. I like Newt and what he has done but he is a Washington insider who is a Republican first, Conservative second. Just a thought.
Congratulations to Beck & Vaughn!
We need more truth to combat the MSM.
Good Luck to everyone involved.
...And of course, we all should all thank Glenn for destroying Newt Gingrich (10 minutes later appearing on the drudgereport) as the "top headline" and endorsing Rick Santorum even though he never had a chance in hell at winning.
Thank you Glenn, Matt Rhodes, Matt Drudge, Fox News & Ann Coulter.
Newt Gingrich sucks! He's old!, He's a cheater and fat!
He can't win!
...Again, thanks for giving Giggles & Ann for this fun election 2012-cycle!
See you in 4 years!
AmericanborninCanada, I'm glad you brought that up. As Conservatives, we want all our heroes to be as pure as the whitest snow. In Washington, no less. There are very few completely pure human beings on the general landscape of America, let alone in the Washington swamp.
Newt wasn't good enough. He divorced his first wife. Like that never happened before.
Cain wasn't good enough. Evidently had an extra-marital friendship that supposedly lasted a number of years. Supposedly.
Those were a couple of good men we could have used right about now. Either one of them would have beat the pants off Obama.
We tend to criticize our own a little more than we should. Often what is left, after we help the Liberals eliminate the good ones is someone like Boehner.
Glenn Beck may have his faults, but he has done more for the Conservative movement in this country, than most of our politicians.
He is a great Educator and a great Historian. And he's on national television. He's doing a good job. In the face of all that he has done and all that he is doing, saying that he is, "all about money," I believe is disingenuous.
Looks like to me, he is trying to reach the audience that we have had trouble reaching up to now.
To get a feeling for the man, you only have to watch him speak from his heart. Here's one of my favorites, from back in July. Seems like an eternity ago. The Oval: Global movement.
Good for Beck. I don't agree with him on a few things, but I do enjoy the hell out of his show. He isn't afraid talk about the Middle East and that the thing I love the most about him.
Beck has the right idea. You can't fight both the mainstream media AND the popular culture AND the public (and private) school system and expect to win elections. You start with education and spreading the word to people that socialism never turns out well, as we can plainly see in Europe right now. If Beck succeeds, maybe more films and documentaries will be made that protray conservatives in a better light? We can only hope.
After the Breitbart, Palin, Gingrich backstabbing episodes, I just cannot bring myself to trust Beck anymore.
I love Beck but can't stand him for a while now.I still subscribe for the Blaze, knowing he do a lot of good in many other areas.
Especially the way Beck treated Newt, {my hero, lol) during the primary, it turned me off.
Since none is perfect, watching Beck is still highly informative, so I encourage watching him
Beck was the first person I heard calling out Benghazi as a CIA compound funneling weapons. He may go off on tangents every now and then, but he is usually spot on with his insight. I don't watch all the time anymore, but when I do, I am educated on something.
after the way we suffered from the primary from all misleading carpet bombs, we are still here, fight goes on and Newt still highlights whatever issue Libs & Rinos are troubled from (uncountable, lol)
thanks nibblesyble friend
I might actually have to watch my first reality show. Good for Beck, and glad Vaughn was willing to give it a shot.
You mean you've never, not ever watched "Duck Dynasty"??? ;)
Seriously, I cannot stand reality shows...then along came the "beards" and I never miss an episode! Love those rednecks and I would bet the farm not one of them voted for obama!
Well, I guess I may have watched some programs that could be called reality shows. Some neat ones about folks living in Alaska, and I think American Pickers. But those strike me more as live documentaries. I think of reality shows as things like "Survivor," of which I never watched a single episode.
heh. Just watched a few back-to-back episodes. Those guys are a hoot. I know people like that. Sometimes, we am people like that. No beards right now, though.
Ok, I get ya! I also never watched a single episode of "Survivor". It's probably the success of that program that spawned every other reality show.
But, if you ever get a chance or have the inclination, watch "Duck Dynasty". They are a conservative, Christian family that found success, (you know...one of those families that bo can't wait to rob) yet has stayed true to their "redneck" ways!
Go Glenn! He's really in it to win it for 2014/16. Watch out Fox, there's a new player in town, hehehe
In case anyone of y'all are aspiring filmmakers. here's the casting call page: http://pursuitofthetruth.com/Pursuitofthetruth.html
Hey Glenn. "Pursuit of Truth"?
Why not call it, "Trashing Newt" or "Pursuit of Slander"?
Is it because that's old news? Not to me it isn't.
Anything to get the truth out. Anything that will help educate people. Go for it Beck. Glad a few who have the means are willing to do this stuff.
Glenn Beck is doing better than Oprah. Ever since Oprah endorsed Obama it has been downhill for her, and I am not shedding any tears for her.
totally agree but Beck needs to be careful about not going overboard...which he at times has a tendency to do.
I bet he does...however don't totally discount Alex Jones because he was right about Agenda 21.
Agreed, anytime he goes into the conspiracy stuff that is where he loses me.
Beck isn't quite on Oprah's level yet...but he is getting there. The key is that he is figuring out how to do it in the age of "new media" vs. the "old media" paradigm that existed when Oprah began to expand.
He certainly couldn't get to Oprah's level now using the same media tactics she did.
She does some good things, but is apparently a big liberal and I don't approve of her politics at all.
Nah, she was always planning to retire from that. You make a billion dollars doing something, you get bored, do something else.
I'm not going to bash somebody, who has generally done good things, just because I differ with them politically.
Now, if Oprah ran for political office, it would be a different story. But as of right now, she is a wealthy job creator. I have no problem with that.
Yes, she is, but she made one fatal mistake..................she stuck her neck out for Obama and it killed her daytime show. I can't stand seeing her anymore. She was all about woman power (Hillary) until "he" came along. Then she jumped ship quicker than the rest of the rats. See where that got her.
That is less than 10% of Oprah's wealth. And she is unlikely to be on the hook for much of it.
I'm not much of a fan of her politics or her show(s), but she is a shrewd businesswoman.
