He mentioned this on his radio show this morning and hoped he’d be able to tell us today. Apparently Glenn Beck’s historic rally has attracted the attention of the Smithsonian Institute in order to preserve the historic rally. That’s amazing.

I hope they tell the story well.

That is outstanding, any guesses on what Beck will send over?

Wow! We all knew it was historic! Apparently, some historians did also!

I think he should send his BulletProof vest and all the headlines disparaging the event (along with the good stuff too)

What was the history they made?- Beck mentioned it, but I don’t remember hearing the details.

I think they should send a token from each of the faiths that were brought together to bring the American ideal back to God. Maybe even the 8 pennies that can be used to symbolize that all of us have a way to help make this country great and our ability is not limited by our means.

I am proud to have been a part of History. Years ago I would say to my business associates, “you ever heard of this Beck guy on CNN”? I remember he was one of the first to have Gov. Palin on his show in 2008 about the energy issues facing the Nation. Now if I miss the 5pm show on FOX, I don’t have to Tivo it, I can watch it on RS. I do believe that Glenn really cares about our Nation and has a great support staff. His staff must really work hard and do the research to bring us the truth by connecting the dots of our corrupt Elected Officials.
Thanks Glenn for 8/28, I Know We Are Not Along.

MAN are you dumb?..check your spelling too (Your not _”ALONG” ??????) He cares about one thing only the almighty $$$$$ going in his pocket not yours.

I think it’s brilliant. Glenn needs to keep foisting the ‘historic’ aspect of it in Obama’s face. There is NO ONE that can do what Beck just did, including the Jackson’s, Sharpton’s, and other race-hustlers who wish they could. The media went over to the dark side to elect Obama, and I’m not talking about his skin color.

I think he should send a copy of his speech, since no newspapers printed it.

I am putting together a site that has pictures albums on it. Each person has their own album in their own name as a gift to Glenn Beck. If you wish to contribute your picture album with your name email honorrallyheadcount@hotmail.com

All of the freakin pictures for sure. I was there and wondered who that was violating air space. With my camera I was able to see “United States” on the chopper. I told my husband I bet it was someone that had to do with history or something.
One thing is a fact, it was massive and I would bet anyone that was the largest gathering in the history of the country. I thought; at 9:15am as I stood at the center top steps of the Lincoln Memorial taking my pictures before going back to my seat; that if he was humbled by friday of those who were already there when he made an appearance, then what he saw when he came out @ 10 am was really going to blow his mind.
He was truely right in his first comments, BUILD IT AND THEY WILL COME.
    WE DID !!!
WTG Glenn, You can count on me to be there every single time you want to do this. In all honesty, I think it was so good that it needs to be repeated several times over.

Its already billed as the largest single man event in all of History.
It will be in Smithsonian Museum. Glenn needs to run with Sara for President, lets remind Him that Washington didnt want to go either,
didnt want to be president, just like who (GLENN)

The rally was great, but don’t you think tens of thousands wanted to see Sarah Palin, remember she is the big draw. The rally was supposed to be taking back the Civil Rights movement, not literally but as a symbol that Civil Rights are for everyone, not based on the color of their skin. Still, I love Sarah, and Beck. He pretty much left her out when he said he hadn’t found an honorable, honest person. Did he neglect to see the beautiful woman who helped him entice all those people to DC?

The man is brilliant! I’ve known it from the first day I watched him.tie He is part teacher, part comic (wonderful sense of timing, he could start a whole new career as as a stand-up comedian if he wanted to), writer (how many books on the NYT Best Seller List?), tireless (he does a radio show AND and a tv show daily), went on “Bold Fresh” tour with Bill O’Reilly) gracious host, but most of all an honest, decent, God-fearing, family man. What he did on Saturday, August 28, will go down in history, thanks to the Smithsonian Institute which obviously can see, what the jaded, corrupt mainstream media refused to see. Way to Go, Glenn!

Tee Hee…yes it was VERY historic….because as it turns out…. ‘Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History said they did seek artifacts from the Beck rally. But she added that they also sought items from Rev. Al Sharpton’s competing rally across town and routinely do so for such events in Washington, D.C.

“We have a division of political history and they do routinely collect from various rallies, demonstrations and protests,” Melinda Machado, director of public affairs for the museum, told me. “Our political history collection goes back 200 years.”

She said the museum collected water bottles, pamphlets, leaflets, T-shirts and buttons from the Beck event. But she pointed out that such items have also been collected from Tea Party rallies, pro gay-marriage demonstrations and “most demonstrations on the National Mall.”

Machado also pointed out that such efforts in no way indicate any endorsement of the groups involved: “They are people exercising their freedoms.””

Well Beck is VERY special…or maybe he just wants it to SEEM that way…

Charlatan. “Historical” does not equate with “good”.
