Going over the fiscal cliff open thread

I’m not really interested in all the machinations of drama surrounding this fiscal cliff deal. It’s a loser for the country if they make a deal and unfortunately I fear there are many more like Lindsey Graham that are willing to gladly capitulate. I’d rather go over this fiscal cliff and deal with it retroactively next year.

Either way, it’s clear not enough of them are interested in solving the real fiscal cliff this country is headed toward. They are doing nothing but cutting out more paper dolls as America gets closer to the ‘abyss’.

One of the most beautiful documentaries done on Jerusalem and its position in Biblical prophecy, click here for details.

So the bottom line is nothing will be done today or tomorrow that will actually help America. It’s all politics just like Obama wanted and our weak Republican Party is playing the game to lose.

Considering many of you are more interested in this than I am, here’s an open thread for you to discuss a deal that isn’t going to help anything.

Look at how equal you’ve made at the scoopers Scoop! I tweeted Graham and told him I’m bloody [email protected] tired of working hard for welfare and food stamp people.

  • Oh good, an open thread. I’ve been waiting for one of these to open up! 😉

Here is a picture of MikeTheMarine’s companion Smokey out for a walk in the snow:
http://tinyurl.com/ax3tz6y Mike sent it to me Saturday and requested I post it on an open thread when one became available, so here it is.

Isn’t Smokey a beauty to behold?

    • warpmine

What is that??? Wolf and dog mix or just wolf?

      • Mostly if not all wolf and I think part German Shepherd. He’s a beauty isn’t he?

        • warpmine

Great looking animal. Reminds my of that German Shepard lap dog I had.

          Mike alright?

          • German Shepard lap dog? Big lap or small dog? 😉

Mike is fine, but his internet connection is not good right now, so he can read TRS on his smartphone, but not reply. I think that’s what he told me. So yes, our Marine friend is fine! 🙂

            • warpmine

Praise the Lord. Had me worried.

              • Thanks for your concern. 🙂

                • MiketheMarine

Thanks for having my back, My Brother. I never have questioned that you did have my back.

              • MiketheMarine

Thanks for your concern. I’m all good. I can read Scoop on my Smart phone but I can’t reply. Very frustrating so I usually just cuddle with the beast and watch TV.

          • MiketheMarine

Yep, I just can’t reply on Scoop with my Smart phone. I was enjoying my first four day weekend in a decade. I slept my butt clean off. And smokey is 75 % greaqy wolf and 25% Giant Alaskan Malamute.

    • colliemum

Smokey is very handsome indeed – and looks right at home in the snow.

One thing’s for sure: I wouldn’t want to meet Smokey if I were a criminal intent on getting into Mike’s home!

      • Me either! 🙂

I pity the poor thief that ever tries. First Smokey, and if by some miracle he manages to get in… There is a full blooded American Patriotic Marine waiting inside with his “toys” 🙂

    • MiketheMarine

Thank you, Sir. Smokey is a Rock Star. Problem is, he knows it. He has a little bit of Diva in him. LOL

  • warpmine

I’ll go a a bit further in saying that I would rather see a hot shooting war than see a peaceful transition in which all liberty was extinguished by the likes of Obama and all those who put him there. You can keep the change towards socialism and I’ll keep my guns and cling to my Bible.

    • PatrickHenrysBody

I believe Zero and authoritarians like him would not mind bloodshed, if it means effecting their brand of “change”. Don’t let a good crisis go to waste.

      • warpmine

I have little doubt of the pain that he and others like him will cause(d). Most of them will cower if their pathetic little lives are threatened because they’ve never ever made any of the sacrifices they ask of everyone else so it means little in the way of it. Hitler, fought in the Great War and knew of death but Barry has never been so close to it that he would actually care so I don’t expect that the bloodshed would make any difference.
        Just a sad truth.

        • PatrickHenrysBody

Agreed. They’ll cower and let others spill the blood to protect their sorry azzes. That’s how cowards operate.

    • aposematic

Actually many more people have been killed over the last 250 years by the “peaceful hand of Marxism” (sarcasm) than all the Wars over that period combined.

      • warpmine

Agreed and we cannot afford not to label the French Revolution as anything but proto-Marxism, complete with the hundreds of thousands of dead Vendee needlessly slaughtered by the Revolution because they refused to give their allegiance to it.

        • I hate when the romanticise the French Revolution as some sort of noble thing. It was far from it!

          • warpmine

The only ones that do are either ignorant or willfully ignorant of all the tragedy that came from it. In their minds Christianity, the Church, was pushed aside so that Socialism could make it’s way through.

    • Nukeman60
      • I don’t have time for a war, so I’ll pull a Boehner and capitulate immediately. 😉

        • Nukeman60

I have an archive. You may win, but over my cold, dead cartoon…lol.

Edit: heh heh, he said ‘pull a Boehner’, heh heh heh.

          • I think I was clever in advancing to the rear this time. I seem to have brought a rubber knife to a minigun fight! 😉 And er… yeah… I really could have worded that better couldn’t I? :-/

            • Nukeman60

No, low class humor. It was my fault to mention it.

              • 🙂 Don’t mention it… er…wait… I liked this cartoon too! BTW, When I said earlier I didn’t have time for a cartoon war, I was thinking I had to go. I got a 20 minute reprieve and here I am… But I’m going soon, so I wasn’t lying to you before, but the facts changed after my post. Have a great night Nuke.

          • Tinlizzieowner could give you a good cartoon war. He’s been sending me some VERY funny cartoons recently. Just got to get him here. 🙂

            • Nukeman60

We could bring in tvlgs. She would put us all to shame. 🙂

        • Orangeone

Wolfie, I had my heart set on a great cartoon war….:(

          • Sorry O, but the time wasn’t right, I’d lose. I don’t go to war to lose. So we’ve postponed it! 😉

          • Sorry O, but the time wasn’t right, I’d lose. I don’t go to war to lose. So we’ve postponed it! 😉

            • Orangeone

              You are tooooo funny

      • sjmom

        Sad but true.

    • sjmom

      Good one.

  • Arrrggghhh

Exactly, Scoop, all this “fiscal cliff” BS is just drama. It’s just a symptom. The real problem is the massive debt that we are accumulating at an exponential rate. Until meaningful changes are made to entitlements and the size of government, all this is just noise. The only way to ease the pain of reducing the deficit is to grow the economy. This administration is doing the opposite of everything that needs to be done.

    • Glen4001

Trouble is, Obama will never agree to policies that would actually grow the economy.

So, here’s my suggestion. Since the Democrats are so fond of “Resets” and the (false) claim that Clinton balanced the federal budget, lets do a “Fiscal Reset”. Let taxes revert back to their Clinton-era levels, and at the same time cut total spending NOW so that the budget soon balances like it supposedly did under Clinton. Yeah, it will create economic turmoil for awhile, but I think the private sector economy is stronger than it gets credit for and will bounce back. To help things along, the “Reset” should also include rescinding laws like Sarbanes-Oxley and Dodd-Frank that have retarded growth. Of course the Democrats won’t willingly agree to any of this, so to force them to negotiate the cuts, the Republicans should threaten to zero out entire federal departments and programs near and dear to the liberal heart. Of course this last part takes more backbone that the Republicans have, so everything I’ve just said is merely wishful thinking.

      • Nukeman60

I don’t think we have another Social Security Fund lying around that we can steal from to help ‘balance’ that budget. 🙁

        • PatrickHenrysBody

Zero to Bernie: print more funny money post haste!

Wheel barrow manufacturers will be in high demand because we will need them so that we can use their wheel barrows to cart the money into the grocery store that is needed to purchase a loaf of bread.

          • Nukeman60

            We’re printing $85 billion/month right now (QE3 and QE4ever).

            • PatrickHenrysBody

Absolutely astounding. They’re supposed to be financial wizards and all-wise economists, but they don’t realize what printing loads of money will do to the economy? Yeah and I’m Milt Friedman resurrected. They know exactly what they’re doing.

      • cabensg

You had me right up to “Republicans should threaten”.

        Here’s how Republicans threaten.

  • clockwindingdown

There is no fiscal cliff as long as all participants continue playing. Problem is at some point someone is going to get up from the table and want to take their share with them.

We could continue to play Monopoly forever if all would agree. But they won’t, one of the players will get tired, be it Russia, China, Germany, etc., whomever. They will see that by walking away they will win the game, (possibly having most of the pot at the time). Problem is winning may not be all that it is cracked up to be. The whole mutually tied destruction thing they designed has its draw backs. Still someone will decide for a new game and to be the big fish in that pond instead of just another player…

    • Nukeman60

Well it’s an O/T so here are a few tweets and pix on gun shows this weekend:

    • Wow! You read about this in text, but it’s when you see pictures like those, it really makes the point! Thanks for posting!

      • Orangeone

These tweets all arrived within 10 minutes of each other.  Gotta love capitalism in the US!  I bet Barky Boy needs a diaper change…..

        • Ah… Finally a use for Nancy (Barky Nappy Changer) Pelosi! 🙂

          • Orangeone

And Piers Morgan and David Gregory too!

            • hahaha! Good choices… Quick question. How do we tell the difference between the …erm nappy stuffing and Piers Morgan?

              • Orangeone

                Obesity level!

                • Ah! I was thinking Morgan would smell worse too! 🙂

        • NYGino

          Who’s going to change it?

          • Orangeone

See Wolfie’s post, he answered your ? and I added a couple additional in my reply just now 🙂

          • Joe

CBS – NBC – ABC will take turns changing him – and cleaning him

They love it – and are used to kissing his butt!

            • NYGino

Makes sense; they’ve been nursing him all these years.

  • Dems are driving towards the “fiscal cliff” at full speed ahead! Now, although it’s what they really want, they know that when the taxes kick in and people see and feel it in their pocketbook they are going to be angry… So the Dems are playing this little game of pretending they don’t want to go over this cliff. This way, when the people are angry, the Dims will blame the Republicans for “failing to negotiate in good faith” or some other mealy mouthed diatribe and finger pointing exercise.

Sad thing is, withe them owning the MSM, the sheeple will believe the Liar N’ Thief and the Republican leadership is in such disarray, they wont’ be be able to mount a strong defense…

…So we’ll get all the blame…. Mark my words, just watch.

    • marketcomp

Good post Wolfie. But shouldn’t we change the argument and call this, “The Return of the Clinton Era Taxes.” I mean let’s face it returning to higher taxes are the Clinton taxes! So why accept the democrats and the liberal media words and meaning.

      • Great points marketcomp! You’d think the so-called Repub leadership would be doing this, but no… forget the elephant, a headless chicken is more apt these days. 🙁

  • toongoon

Here we are watching the the architects of financial oblivion rework the blueprints.

  • During these uncertain times – Keep your Bible close… And your gun closer!

My permit to carry expires 9/2014, I seriously doubt they will let me renew it.

    • Remember this one thing: It’s better to be judged by 12 then carried by 6… Just sayin’…

  • BHliberty

Yeah, this is just drama at this point! You know, like high school was or maybe even middle school! These people are simply worthless and yet, they just gave themselves a raise. Who does this with any concious? Anyhoo, tyranny is the name of the game now! I stopped listening to these morons!

I think futures are already down -200 points! Not sure what will happen tomorrow but its looking ugly!

    • demographicallychallenged

Yep, stock market goes down, oil & gas prices go up. Anyone but me notice this?

      • PatrickHenrysBody

It’s all being orchestrated, if you ask me.

    • Orangeone

They did not give themselves the raise, Barky Boy did it by Executive Order. Another in his plan to blame Republicans “They couldn’t agree on taxes but could agree to pay themselves more of your money”

      • BHliberty

Ya, Ya, you’re right! BO did it! See I’m so pissed at this point that I’m not even paying attention to the details. I’m just looking at the financials now just waiting for complete insolvency! Man this just sucks!

        • Orangeone

I think we are both correct.  Congress had to have voted previously.  I remember the delay for federal employees.

  • Yard sign suggestion: I’m a Conservative Gun Owner. My neighbor is a Liberal pacifist non-gun owner: Which house do you want to break into?

  • sjmom

No deal DC will make will solve the fiscal crisis so go over the cliff because unless the problem is solved it will happen anyway and there is nobody in DC who seems willing to do that.

    • PatrickHenrysBody

It’s not that they’re unwilling to do it, it’s because they don’t want to do it. It derails their plan to turn the country upside-down and transform it into a state-run “utopia”.

  • What bothers me is that from this summer last year up until now, it has all been shenanigans from the Executive branch. This spending binge is just ridiculous. And it’s a shame that when we as citizens fall on hard times, we cut our expenses and move forward. But when the government has that opportunity, it does the opposite.

    • Suzyqpie

And they gave themselves raises for this kind of performance. There have been many startling moments in the 0bama years, the recent raises, for me was one of the most shocking shocking.

  • I don’t really care if we go over the “fiscal cliff”. The important thing is that Drunken John Boehner goes down and stays down…

  • ApplePie101

I’m afraid that we WON’T go over the fiscal cliff. In the long term, it could be our salvation. The frantic efforts of those spenders on the hill to avert it makes one suspect that they will be the biggest losers. Shut down the national government for a few months, and we might start to see some real economic recovery.

  • tinlizzieowner

This is all just another episode of ‘Congressional Kabuki Theater’ on the Reality Channel, as far as I’m concerned.

  • white531

I agree with ApplePie. If you look at this in real terms, we haven’t had a Federal budget in several years, thanks to Harry Reid and the Senate. You call this a Government?

I welcome the so-called, “fiscal cliff.” Because it represents the failure of the status quo. Doing the same old thing, over and over, and kicking the can down the road.

This country is broke. China owns this country. Because China owns our debt.

This administration and this president and this Congress want to perpetuate this madness, by telling you we can fix this by making those who earn lots of money, pay more in taxes.

The amount of money that will garner, Obama can spend in one week. He’s already proven that.

This isn’t a government. This is a soap opera. If there was any other program on right now, I would switch the channel. But there isn’t.

Never mind. I don’t own a television, anyway. I almost forgot. But this isn’t television drama. This is real. This is actually happening. We actually do have an Idiot for a President. Hard to believe, I know.

But here’s the clincher. It isn’t the Idiot leading us, who is the problem. It’s all the Idiots following him, with their noses where they shouldn’t be. Is that visual too indelicate? I’ll apologize tomorrow.

    • ApplePie101

No need to apologize. You’ve nailed it.

  • Sober_Thinking

Sorry to be crass… but I don’t give a squat about it either. Obama and his lapdog media created a new monster and called it “The Fiscal Cliff”. Then they made America fear it without being honest about what it REALLY is. And now they are exploiting it. Anything to draw attention away from the REAL monster, who is Obama. HE is the problem with this nation – all wrapped up in one corrupted person.

I’m with you Scoop. This all means nothing. Republicans will be blamed for raising taxes or for “not raising taxes” by not voting… either way, they have painted themselves in a corner and deserve what they get here. Boneheads. Meanwhile, the criminal Democrats, liberals, obama and media will continue to lie to the American people and destroy America from within.

Our day will come… Lord willing.

    • PatrickHenrysBody

      Hear, hear!

  • white531

Watch this video. Please watch this video. This is pure BS at its best. This man is responsible for more debt, than all the Presidents in our History. IN OUR HISTORY!!!

And here he is, talking on national television, like this is all the fault of Republicans.

I guess it would have been nice if I had actually posted the link. 🙂

There is only one explanation for this. It is twofold. One, most Americans are brain dead. Because no one remembers all the speeches this man has made. He has lied repeatedly, not only in speeches, but he has done so, on national television.

If you went back and recorded all of his speeches, and all of the BS that has he has expounded through his big mouth over time, and compared those words to what he is spouting right now, you would be looking at two or three different human beings. His mouth changes and adapts to the changing political landscape.

Whatever crisis that is visited upon the American people, you can be sure Obama will take full advantage of it. Connecticut is only the most recent.

This man makes me puke. Every time I see him on the computer, I puke. I am not a man whose hatred of others, comes easily. That being said, I hate this man with every fiber of my being. God forgive me. This man is Satan, himself.

    • tinlizzieowner

If you went back and recorded all of his speeches, and all of the BS that has he has expounded through his big mouth over time, and compared those words to what he is spouting right now, you would be looking at two or three different human beings.

“You mean something like this? 😉

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America ‘s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government can not pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America ‘s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, “the buck stops here.’ Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.”
      – Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006

Will the real Barack Obama please stand up, (providing there IS a real Barack Obama in the first place). 😉 😉

      • white531

Thank you for that, Tinlizzie. The real beauty of Scoop, is that we are a collective mind, and we are able to bring all of our memories and our web wanderings together in one place. This is what people mean, when they mention, “the new media.”

The new media is us. The new media is Tinlizzie. The new media is anyone out there, who divorces themselves from the Lamestream media, and goes on a journey to seek information on their own, and form their own opinions of the information they find.

Fortunately, the internet provides that source. The internet protects my sources of information, the Second Amendment protects my Freedom.

Let us do all we can to protect both. It is for certain, there are those among us, who would deny us both.

        • tinlizzieowner

I think the thing that frustrates me the most is that we have seen something like this happen over and over again throughout the history of this country and yet, it seems that about every 2 generations we seem to forget everything we have learned in the past. 🙁
“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
          Albert Einstein
One thing I’m sure of, contrary to what Barack Obama thinks of himself, he’s no ‘Einstein’. 😉 😉

          • white531

There is an old saying. “When there is a stone on your path, and you stumble upon it each time you travel on that path, sooner or later it behooves you to remove the stone. Either that, or find a new path.”

          • maybe he is? “Ein stein” means One Mug (of beer)

            • tinlizzieowner

‘One (big) Mug’ of ideology John. 😉
As for the ‘Ein Stein’ part, he’s closer to being a ‘Fein Stein’, as in Diane. 😉 😉
‘fein’ (adj) ‘cunning’, (among other uses).

    • PatrickHenrysBody

Right on the mark! The 52 percent who voted for Zero keep eating the pablum (in the form of “free” goodies) Zero and other authoritarians are serving. The 52 percent include those who have been brainwashed by the propagandist media arm of Zero and the American re-educational system who refuse to believe. Still others are so uninformed and mind-numbed that they are like automatons who are prepared to serve any master they are programmed to serve (in this instance, Zero). Most of them will believe anything that the authoritarians choose for them to believe.

  • white531

What a pathetic ass Lindsey Graham is. What an insult to the people who founded this country.

  • opinionatedhermit

To me all this nonsense is a very simple fix, but might be illegal to advocate for it. So, I am not.

This Cliff Bullshit is exactly the type of thing that happens when there is no budget. When the normal processes, designed to deal with these types of things, simply aren’t there. I mean, it isn’t like experienced people couldn’t see this coming. After all, there is kind of a history that we all can point to, where the world didn’t quite go – according to “hope and change.”

In fact, simple budgeting and prudence is exactly how families and business have been dealing with these types of things for thousands of years.

But, more to the point: it would seem entirely reasonable, that if a bunch of whack jobs in Government, cannot produce a budget … then there is no way any of the rest of us, should ever be forced to pay for it. I mean, aren’t they supposed to go hand in hand? Isn’t this kind of like the first test … that can tell us whether or not these clowns are capable?

Why do our employees get to NOT say what they will be spending our money on and why … but the rest of us are put in jail if we don’t tell them exactly what happens in our families and businesses…

If Government is so much more ethical and moral than business is …I say it’s about time they proved it. Either put up … or shut up.

The Republicans should immediately put forward a bill, heck a Constitutional Amendment, that says there will be no more April 15 paydays for anybody … until the American people get to be a part of the process that THEY are paying for.

Either, produce a budget, (READ: Get your damn act together) …. or, get no money. It is that simple…

No matter how much it may disappoint dear leaders Obama and Boehner …. They don’t get to sit in little rooms and pretend to be Kings …. There ARE other methods …..

  • ApplePie101

I pray constitutionalists in congress continue to hang tough in the face of GOPe pressure to make a deal with the democrats. One can only imagine the concessions McConnell must be offering Biden. Then there’s Manchin and his ‘CALM’ bill, intended to sneak tax increases in over three years. Anything to prevent us from seeing the full damage of their profligate spending. The fiscal cliff panic is all about covering their own tails.

It sounds like they didn’t reach a deal tonight, which is good news for the rest of us. Stand strong, Tea party conservatives. We’re depending on you.

  • Forget the fiscal cliff–taxes are going up whether a compromise is reached or not!

One other thing that has been puzzling me, how did the Ds succeed in perpetrating the mythology that taxing the rich will be the solution to the debt & the deficit?

  • mediaaccess1

I’m following NIKE’s lead on this one! JUST DO IT!

  • aposematic

This “fiscal cliff” points out pretty emphatically just why the Republicans loose arguments before even getting into an argument. The Republicans start by accepting and then repeating the labels/premise/straw man the Leftists place at the head of the argument(s) and then proceed to argue against what they have already accepted.

    • ApplePie101

      Very perceptive, and well stated.

This is what happens when politicians have no core. Most republicans and democrats parrot whatever they think will win the election. Their driving motivations are power, prestige and money. They’ll do anything to get it and hold onto it.

    • clockwindingdown

Excellent post aposematic. The reps do not know how to debate, they by in to the false premise and instantly loose, as you mentioned. That leads one to believe that after all this time they are in agreement and want the same things, save for a few. In other words it is a show to create an illusion to subdue the citizenry.

Everyone here should run for public office. Win or loose we send a message that we are not happy and change is coming…

They start from a single assertion: Leaders do whatever keeps them in power. They don’t care about the “national interest”—or even their subjects—unless they have to.
This clever and accessible book shows that the difference between tyrants and democrats is just a convenient fiction.”

    US Tax Revenue: $2,170,000,000,000
    Fed budget: $3,820,000,000,000
    New debt :$1,650,000,000,000
    National debt:$14,271,000,000,000
    Recent budget cuts $38,500,000,000

Lets now remove eight zeros and pretend this is a household budget.

    Annual family income: $21,700
    Money the family spent: $38,200
New debt on the credit card: $16,500
Outstanding balance on credit card: $142,710
Total budget cuts so far: $38.50

    Got it? Ok now,

Here is another way to look at the debt ceiling.

Lets say you come home from work
and find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood…
and your house has sewage all the way up to the ceilings…
What do you think you should do?
Raise the ceilings or remove the shi*?

A friend posted this sign he saw somewhere on Facebook. Why wouldn’t republicans use this same setup of information and give it to Americans just as this says? Dumb

      Excellent, Ryanomaniac!

And as anybody knows who has a credit card, that $38.50 won’t even come close to covering the interest on that credit card.

If on January 3rd we do not get a New Speaker of the House, the Republican Party is dead.

How the hell did we get to this point? The House passed extensions MONTHS AGO, did budgets and fulfilled their constitutional authority, and yet it’s the GOP’s fault? It’s never Reid’s fault… or the Democratic Senate.

You know, as much as I hate the Democrats and detest Obama, I must say they are absolutely brilliant. Their messaging…their “optics,” is all freaking amazing.

If, and I mean a big if, we cross this cliff, and Obama comes in with a huge “Obama Tax Cut,” where it’s essentially re-branding the Bush era’s but making them permanent, if this comes to pass, it means Obama was never set out to destroy the country but to destroy the Republican party indefinitely.

I don’t know how the GOP survives after this point, nor do I care anymore.

The GOP caved, they caved and they’ll still be blamed for the cliff.

    Have we learned nothing?!

Every damn Democrat went out on TV and kept their message concise “GOP just won’t say yes!”

How come Boehner never called out Reid? Where is the damn Anger from Cantor or any other GOP leader?

Damn it, the GOP needs to be put out of it’s misery fast.

If I were the Tea-Party GOP Congressmen/women I’d switch to be Independent/3rd Party now.

It’s laughable. Newt Gingrich ran arguably the most Conservative Congress in my lifetime, and he was forced out because of a loss of 6 seats and a coup lead by Boehner to oust him.

Yet Boehner… has just destroyed the GOP’s brand forever and he’ll be re-elected Speaker…

The winner tonight ladies and gentlemen?

Nancy Pelosi, for she’ll get her 17 seats she needs to be Speaker of the House again in 2014.

And the final 2 years of Obama’s 2nd term will be the reinstating of the axis of democratic evil, Obama/Pelosi/Reid.

Master illusionists. What is amazing are the hordes that see comfort within their ignorance. (Note: Don’t see this as criticism, I am not accusing Joe of ignorance. Joe is spot on while few seem to even have heard let alone know the following fact Joe points out: “It’s laughable. Newt Gingrich ran arguably the most Conservative Congress in my lifetime, and he was forced out because of a loss of 6 seats and a coup lead by Boehner to oust him.”) But:

Is a used car salesman absolutely brilliant making a sale to a sucker who happened onto the lot when the MSM/Press are their to praise the salesman while goading the sucker to buy the junk the salesman is selling?

I put the GOP in with the hordes of ignorance if not outright treason.

      Very good analysis.

  • The amount of signatures to deport Piers Morgan has reached nearly 100,000! 🙂
They were trying/hoping to reach the needed 25,000 signatures before Jan20,2013 and have blown that requirement clear out of the water!
    See: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/deport-british-citizen-piers-morgan-attacking-2nd-amendment/prfh5zHD

I also saw Morgan threatening to self-deport: “Deport me? If America won’t change its crazy gun laws… I may deport myself”

I say, don’t let the door hit your arse on the way out you plastic pretentious Libtard waste of air!

    • what a name! Pierce MoreGun……s! 😉

      • LOL! Excellent! 🙂 I’m going to remember and use that. 😉

Seems today, 12/31/12, the Repubicans are preparing to take the Mammonth Cave tour! Free of charge of course…complements of the Democrats.

This may seem crazy to a lot of folks, and it may be. However if any of it comes to pass… Interesting to hear said what many here say in part and may well be thinking.
