Even though the judge in Friday’s hearing to impound voting machines denied the request from West’s campaign, St. Lucie County Election officials have agreed to a partial recount of around 37,000 early votes. They are being recounted today and West’s campaign says that is a good start to ensure a fair election process:

FOX NEWS – Election officials in St. Lucie County will recount early votes cast in the hotly contested race for Florida’s 18th district’s House seat between Tea Party favorite Rep. Allen West and his challenger, Democrat Patrick Murphy.

The St. Lucie County Canvassing Board announced late Saturday it had set an “emergency meeting” to start at 7 a.m. Sunday at its headquarters, to “recount all ballots cast during early voting.” The number of early ballots is estimated by officials to be roughly 37,000.

West, who has refused to concede the race, is currently trailing Murphy by 2,442 votes, according to the latest results from Florida Division of Elections. On its website, the agency says West has garnered 164,448 votes to Murphy’s 166,890.

“There are possible irregularities in St. Lucie County,” claims Jeffrey Scott Shapiro, a Florida lawyer volunteering for the West campaign who has been quoted on the issue. “On Sunday we’ll have a chance to recount the early votes and that’s a good start to preserving the integrity of the democratic process.”

West’s campaign said in a Saturday statement it was pleased with the news of the partial recount.

“This decision should help shed light on the situation of this election,” the statement said. “This is the action we were seeking to ensure the results of this election were fair and accurate.”

Even if the results of the partial recount do not change the race, West still has the option to contest the election if misconduct or fraud might have changed its result.

Wish we could recount on the national scale

    • http://twitter.com/SheerPolitics Sheer Politics

Beyond a recount–we need to validate the voter registration–it needs to be bumped up against a list of those registered to vote. I first heard that precincts in Colorado had between 104-140% of the eligible voter population–and you never get even 100% of the precincts to vote. Philly.com is reporting that “In 13 Philadelphia wards, Obama received 99 percent of the vote or more.” Yes these wards are heavily Democrat, but the ratio is still 7 to 1 in favor of democrats. The article continues:

“House Speaker Sam Smith, musing over “staggering” turnout in some city precincts and reacting to wrong information that “90 percent of the precincts in Philadelphia County turned out over 90 percent of voters,” called the ability to get such numbers “questionable.”

And I am not believing that there were even less votes for Romney than McCain. He was not my first choice (either one) but he was a much better campaigner. I’d also like to know if all these states had electronic voting machines. I work with computers; if something uses a computer, someone else can figure out how to change the results.

The actual math on Phillie was 90% precincts giving Obama 99% of the vote.

        Mathematical improbability.

Not in communist state run elections – there, anything below 98.9% will see heads roll. Not so long ago, those heads rolled literally …

This is the problem. the system has been set up in the last four years to be tampered with and taken over. We have no rights now.

We need recounts in ALL Swing states. To redo the whole country would be a complete waste of time and resources.

      • Orangeone

Swing states and close states. MN was ahead for Romney and we flipped to full Dem and defeated both of our constitutional amendments. Need I remind you of the Franken fraud later proved to be a Coleman win but it was too late.

West’s partial recount is a good start, but probably only designed to placate him.

I truly hope he continues to demand a full recount and if there is proof of voter fraud…JUST ONE, he will have the smoking gun to open up the whole smelly disgusting can of worms of the Democratic liars…..

I wish we could to but it has to be requested by Romney campaign and Republicans. If they won’t defend themselves…how can we?

Make the loudest possible uproar anyway – after all, it’s you all who are defrauded by these frauds.
It’s not about Romney any longer, it is about you and having your political right to free and unhindered elections destroyed.
It goes far beyond giving Romney a win – it goes to the foundations of the Republic.

When there is an 113% voter turn out there just might be “possible irregularities in St. Lucie County”

    • Sisquinanamook

Actually, both Twitchy and Legal Insurrection (neither of which is a left leaning site) have been reporting that these numbers don’t mean what you think they mean. The numbers are for ballot cards cast, not voters casting ballots. Basically, the ballot was 2 cards long, with all the referendum stuff on the second ballot card. Some people voted the whole thing and turned in 2 cards, some skipped the referendum/ammendment section and only voted on the races for offices on the first card. Therefore, it makes sense that the ballot cards would outnumber the voters who cast them. Here is a link to LI:http://legalinsurrection.com/2012/11/latest-update-on-allen-west-recount-fight/ and to Twitchy: http://twitchy.com/2012/11/10/voter-fraud-rumor-of-the-day-141-voter-turnout-in-st-lucie-county-fla/

      • keyesforpres

That doesn’t account for OH, PA, VA, or CO.

        • Sisquinanamook

It wasn’t intended to. I’m not saying there was no fraud, just that several sites have proposed this explanation for why the “ballot cards cast” is so much higher than the turnout should be.

          • Nukeman60

And sometimes actually looking at that man behind the curtain is important. The recount is necessary for three very big reasons.

One, counting individual cards as a vote instead of a card package as a vote is just as possible as overstating the multiple cards are multiple registrations. If in doubt, we should recount.

Second, when a county or precinct, closes and locks their doors, does a recount on their own, and comes up with a 5-6 thousand vote swing, there is doubt. When in doubt, we must recount.

And thirdly, When there’s doubt, we must recount. It’s that simple. There should be no argument. No talk of conspiracy (which tends to dampen the argument) and no talk of sore losers. Just the plain truth. We should all seek that.

            • Sisquinanamook

I think there absolutely should be a recount – but I think that because the elections official locked the doors and counted without oversight. But, if someone has proposed a rational reason for one area at issue with the votes, that also has to be considered. It is better to wait and see the results of the recount than to immediately assume a conspiracy is afoot. I am not saying the double ballot card theory is correct, only that it has been proposed as a possible legitimate explanation of the tallies and has to be proven or disproven by the people who can ascertain its validity first. Usually, the hoofbeats are horses, not zebras, you know.

      • DuraMater

        I am a Florida voter.

Each voter was given a “ballot” upon signing in at the poll. The ballot was 2 pages, front and back. Even if, IF, the voter did not bubble in any selection on one of the 2 pages, proper handling of that ballot requires, demands, that BOTH pages be fed through the scanner, recording the intention of that voter. No choice IS A CHOICE. To do otherwise, to discard (or let the voter keep possession of) one page and submit the other still constitutes FRAUD .

        Don’t back down, Col. West.

BTW, Legal Insurrection, one of my fav sites is quoting SharkTank on this matter. Shark tank sometimes has some curious, shall we say, “Beltway-esque” perspectives.

If anyone believes that 113% of the registered voters actually voted, you have to be a democrat lemming.

      • Nukeman60

That sounds a lot like the phrase, “who are you going to believe, me or your own lying eyes”. When we stop just meekly accepting what the politicians who committed the fraud tell us, then maybe then we can begin to regain our nation.

You can’t rewrite history to agree with the outcome. We all spent the last two years fighting this battle and it didn’t just miraculously switch at the end.

Articles are now coming out as to how easy it is to hack the voting machines. We must just delve into them to find the truth. You do agree we should seek the truth, don’t you? Whenever someone says we can not recount, I suspect the original vote in the first place. It should be in the very nature of the system to be able to recount to ensure integrity. Unless you don’t want that integrity in the first place.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Rich-Wojcik/1252071956 Rich Wojcik

      • Orangeone

And the recount involved blocking the observers’ views, marking “new” ballots if there was a question with no independent review.

    • KenInMontana

According to some stats Rush was talking about the other day, about 3 million Republicans/Conservatives did not show up to vote. Be sure and thank one (sarcasm intended) when you encounter one.

the rnc did no favors when they shoved paul and palin supporters aside, that is what it felt like to them,. I consider myself a palin supporter, but she was not running, I voted for mitt, because barry is the worse. but if you went to different blogs you saw that some were not going to vote, palin she is a big person ,she told her supporters, go give mitt a try. ron paul did no such thing, so his supporters did not vote possibly.

thing is, how can people not see how badly this corrupt admin needed to be replaced. i still say though there was fraud, the race was close, but it was on mitt’s side not barrys

        • keyesforpres

          Fraud on Mitt’s side?

          • anyonebutbarry2012

no why? mitt was ahead in the polls, over the 50% he also had full venues, focus groups were in his favor, the opposite can be said for barry. so how could barry win?

            • Nukeman60

I’m not following your logic. You say because all indications pointed toward a Romney win (I agree with that), then Romney’s camp itself committed fraud to prevent it? Huh?

I must be missing something here.

Those people strongly behind Palin would not vote contrary to what she said and Paul’s people would have voted for Paul rather than stay home. The fact that Romney got less than McLame is just ludicrous to even justify. Now they’re telling us that all the demographics, like Catholics, decided at the end to vote Obama over Romney.

I’m not buying any of it and we need to yell as loud as we can until people start listening. Our very foundation as a nation depends on it. All we need is someone to crack and spill the beans and we can figure this electronic fraud situation out.

              We must never give up.

              • Siobhan7

And according to Fox News, more Mormons voted for McCain than Romney! Is anyone buying that?

                • Nukeman60

Nope. I’m not buying any of it. I think they finally slipped up with this amount of fraud, and I think it was because they had to. People will be calling me a conspiracy nutcase (oh, well), but I’m pursuing this harder than anyone ever pursued Obama’s background.

                • Wisewoman2

Neither am I. I am now convinced it was unmitigated FRAUD and I am pissed of f because I marched for civil rights and the right to vote. To think that votes were compromised makes me go ballistic.

      • keyesforpres

How true is that? How many times did someone press the button for Mitt and it defaulted to Obama?

      • DuraMater

Some, perhaps decided to sit it out. But how many of those potential Rep/Cons. votes were tossed or “lost”? Might some of that statistic be military ballots that either did not reach target or arrived too late to be counted?

      • jrt1031

The only reason they can state this fact is because the results states this fact. If votes were destroy how would anyone know the difference in destroying a vote or a voter not showing up to vote. More people were vested in voting for Romney then McCain. Why cant conservative America wake up and realize that votes can easily be destroyed. The system is flawed. We no longer have a right to vote.

  • Steven

If he wins this recount, we have to make them rue the day they tried to end this great man’s political career. He has been target number one of the Left, because a great black man in the GOP is not to be tolerated. They must keep their voters in line you see. Without getting 90% of the black vote the Dems can’t win. Allen West is a clear and present threat to them and he must be eliminated by any means, including stuffing the ballot.

IF West wins, I will demand that he run for the nomination in 2016. Forget about seeking reelection in 2014! Start the campaign to restore and reform America in 2016. We need a true patriot conservative that can win minority votes and rally the nation around commonsense reforms and a strong military. I don’t know of anyone better to do that than Allen West. Do you?

Let’s pray that he wins the recount and then let’s rally around him for 2016! (West/Paul)

    • cathmom

      West/Palin or Palin/West

      • Steven

Love Palin, but they did a number on her. West if he wins, will still be in office and can start a moment against this corruption having experience first hand how lawless these people are. I really think its time for real authentic conservative leadership and Allen West is one of a few who can do that currently in office. Palin resigned from office and I thought at the time it was to run for president. Now, why?

So, I look to West and Rand Paul, because they are the only people standing on principle and proposing very bold solutions for our country. Not to mention, they would have appeal among young people and minorities. The GOP can’t win without someone who has credibility from day one with the base and someone who is not afraid to go into minority communities and college campuses and tell the truth. West and Paul will do that. Palin, with all due respect can’t do this and at this point in her life, I think she isn’t interested in seeking political office.

        • anyonebutbarry2012

she resigned for good reason, she was my Governor and a very good one.
she couldn’t defend all the frivolous lawsuits and pay for attorneys etc. her husband even had to go back to his old job because it was breaking them.
sarah was right about one thing, the media, once they say something, it does not go away, the left is horrible. she continues to be treated unfairly.

        • tvlgds

Agreed. We’re not going to see her in public office- she has another purpose in the party. She resigned from her office because all legal crap going on with her would have detracted her from being able to do her job. Palin is done as a candidate, thanks to the lamestream media. People need to focus on viable candidates and move on from Palin.

Dems are getting to where they don’t even need the black vote any more. The fraud is in such high numbers that we’ll have to take 100% of the vote in swing states in order to win.

One district had 98,000 registered voters.
Let’s say 55% of them are Democrat.
Let’s generously say 60% of registered Dems voted.
That would mean that a fair turnout for Obama would be 32,000 voters.
Obama got 106,000 (out of 98,000) votes in that district by himself….blowing any reasonable numbers out of the water.

Using those numbers, Obama got 74,000 illegal votes in that district alone, which would mean 70% of his votes were fraudulent.

Do the numbers I used look reasonable to everyone else?

This kind of cheating is ridiculous and widespread. So if St. Lucie had the kind of 113% turnout over and over again….then it is safe to say Obama won Florida by cheating. His margin was slime enough that cheating would account for a lot. Who in their right mind thinks St.Lucie is the only cheater in Florida? Who in their right mind thinks only Florida cheated? How many times does the left and this administration have to establish a pattern before we say “If it looks like a duck, walks likes a duck, talks like a duck by GOD…IT’S A DAMN DUCK!”

But we don’t want to take the voter fraud with us. That just creates another corrupt country.

I think well written articles of secession can be drafted soberly and executed peaceably. Natural, human and technological resources of today distinguish us from our ancestors of 1860. And ideologically, philosophically we are even more divided as a nation than they at the acme of their dissent.

As a way to stop future elections being stolen. How about a Photo-ID National registration card. it works like a credit card. You bring it to your voting place, they scan it, which validates your ID and registers that this person is now voting. Now if you try to vote again – and have to present your ID card, the second scan will not validate because it will come back that you already voted. Prevents massive voter fraud. If the Credit Card Companies can validate if you have enough credit/money to buy some item, it shouldn’t be a massive leap to set up a centralized database to prevent voter fraud. In NO way does this register who you voted for or what issues you supported.

Next. The voter machines. When you select your candidate, it should verify clearly what it thinks you pressed and you should be able to accept it or reject it and try again. When you DO vote… You should get a paper receipt. You should be able to read the receipt and validate that it did indeed register your vote correctly and click “yes, I checked my receipt and it is a valid account of my intent to vote”.

Does any of this make any sense to anyone or am I off my rocker?

    • anyonebutbarry2012

the point is, most voter’s state’s wanted voter photo id laws, it was the DOJ who sued against that. we have the same administration, until their corruptness is gone, can’t see where your going to see voter photo id laws .. they should be the same for all states.

    • Orangeone

The coding should be in your driver’s license and passport and should be connected to your registration.

the ability to vote over the course of weeks needs to be stopped also. Its called Election DAY. Hi jinx, fraud, scams, you name it, the whole system is archaic. Bank of America can have millions of customers transfer any where from 1cent to 99 cents into their savings account based on rounding purchase amounts up to the nearest dollar, multiple times a day. Example: i use a debit card and the purchases on a given day are $4.67, $3.85, $2.12. BoA rounds those three purchases up to the nearest dollar and sends .33, .15, .88. The credits are applied to my acct that same day. If they can do this for all their customers every day and the gov’t. can’t keep track of 1 vote per citizen each year, something is intentionally/pathetically wrong with our system. One vote one day. Overseas military votes are the only people that there should be an allowance for, have some pride and participate in Election DAY.

The best is, it’s all deception done in favor of the left, are there any complaints about fraud or deceit by the right? Seriously, let me know, I’ll be pissed about that too. Voter /polling fraud should be handled with the harstest of penalties but 90% of the country chooses to ignore it or make believe its a minor issue.

    • Landscaper

Off your rocker. A simple state DL is racist. National ID would be the GOP are Nazis.

I see what you mean. :-( Oh well… That idea of mine flew as well as a lead balloon! :-)

    • kong1967

Have two counts. The machine makes two copies of the receipts. One for you and one that you put in an (anonymous) box before you walk out the door. Have two “handlers” that make sure you only put in one copy (they can’t see your vote), one handler for Republicans and one for Democrats. In the end, count the machine tallies and the “anonymous” box and make sure they match. Any mismatches must be gone over with a fine-tooth comb.

No early voting and no absentee unless there is good reason for it (in the military overseas, for example). Have a national database that keeps live-time track of who already voted. No more voting in 5 differerent polling locations because they don’t know you already voted somewhere else.

Eh, what’s the use? No actions will ever happen to ensure we have accurate voting in the elections.

        Excellent solutions!

        • kong1967

Thanks, but probably not. It was off the top of my head and I’m sure there’s problems to be found with that, too. Dems will figure a way around anything, and anything you try is going to be called oppressive and racist.

              Too right, wolfie!

And one’s aim should be to attract at least one leftie troll per site visited, because it is great fun to rip them apart in public – especially when they use personal vilifications.

    • Gothampc

That’s what I can’t understand. I can go almost anywhere in the world and get money from my bank account using an ATM/Debit card. Yet I have to fill in little circles to vote? It’s time to modernize the voting system so that there is zero fraud.

    • Nukeman60

Those are two good points. But, they are only the two lesser of three problems. The third is electronic voter fraud (and that is the worst one, because it’s so hard to detect). You can insure that every vote cast is legal (at the time it’s cast), and you can insure that your vote went the way you wanted (at the time you voted), but after that is the counting process. If there is an algorythm in the machines to switch every 10th Republican vote to Democrat, you will never notice how it happened (unless it’s so massive that it becomes obvious, like 9 out of 10 swing states going to Obama with a roughly 51%-48% margin – rather unique, if you ask me).

I find it interesting that Florida is allowing West a partial (only partial) recount, but his request to impound the machines was denied. Why is that? What would it hurt to look at the machines?

  • NJK

Why couldn’t they be impounded? What would it hurt. These judges just either don’t understand the depth of corruption out here, or they are part of it. I don’t believe Obama won honestly.

Do you notice every time you challenge them, it’s a political stunt. I’m thoroughly disgusted with these Republicans who offer no help. They don’t give darn about this country, only with mainting their own power. Boehner is one of them.

The Republicans are cowards. They concede even if there are signs of corruption. John McCain knew their was fraud the last election, and he didn’t challenge it, because of fear of civil unrest. Had he did the right thing, Libya might not have happened, the Navy Seals who were murdered might still be alive, Brian Terry, Jamie Zapata, and hundreds of others might still be alive, Fast and Furious wouldn’t have happened. They aren’t noble by doing this, they’re cowards, and are contributing to the damage of this country.

The media are their bullies, and the Republicans never fight. They walk around with signs on their backs, that say, KICK ME! I’m just sick of them.

  • NJK

All of the states with photo ID, were won by Romney. This is what the left fears. They always use the race excuse, when all they’re saying is, blacks and other minorities are too stupid to take care of themselves or think for themselves. They lack the intelligence or the capability to acquire a photo ID? Maybe they’re too stupid to vote then, and shouldn’t.

    • http://tinyurl.com/wwsotu Wolfie

They have no problem getting photo-id to use their welfare checks to go buy booze, lottery tickets and cigarettes thought do they? Liberals NEVER whine about having to provide ID to buy those, but to Vote….

      • colliemum

So why, if they already have this ID, can they not use it for voting?

It doesn’t make sense, or it makes sense only if you’re Holder, looking out for ‘his’ people.

        • Nukeman60

Besides, if you look at all the states’ voting laws, there is not a single state (not one) that has the voter ID laws who refuse to allow people to vote. Each and every one of them have provisional ballots for that purpose and the people that didn’t have ID still got to vote (it just went provisional).

Now a provisional ballot isn’t a half ballot or a lesser ballot. Granted it isn’t counted for ten days, but that’s to give the person who voted provisionally time to prove their identity. This argument against voter ID laws being racist and discriminatory is just a strawman that the left uses so very well.

      • BikerHoop

The Dems required TWO forms of picture ID to get into the DNC convention… raaaaaacists!

    • kong1967

They use blacks as an excuse time and time again, and in my opinion they make the black man look stupid. You can’t do that, blacks are too stupid to comply, etc. It’s not true about the blacks being too stupid to comply, but it should show how racist the Democrats are for using the blacks as an excuse to not pass legislation because blacks just can’t do it.

      • BikerHoop

Ya know, that’s one thing I will never understand. The Dems are constantly denigrating blacks and yet blacks will stand up and defend them almost literally to the death. How do they do that?

        • Orangeone

They are promised free things that the whites have worked for.

          • kong1967

Lol, I wasn’t going to go there, and now I don’t have to.

White’s have a lower percentage of people on welfare, but we are starting to follow the same route. I don’t know what’s so attractive about welfare that people don’t want to lose it once they are on it. My dad crushed his hand at work and had to take food stamps for a few weeks, and he hated it. This was a man that worked two full time jobs at times and wouldn’t let my mom work. He was a real man and wanted to be the bread winner even if he was never home in order to do it (6 kids). My dad was ashamed to even be on temporary food stamps after his injury. Why can’t people be like that any more? Now they act like it’s owed to them and scream bloody murder if they are worried they might lose it. No pride or dignity any more.

        • kong1967

Ya know, I really can’t answer that. My guess would be that so many blacks have become lifers on the government tit that they do not want to take a chance of having to go to work. Not all of them, but a lot of them. Whites are going down the same route. Once you become a dependent and accept the low-income lifestyle, I guess it’s easier to give in to it than it is to fight to get off the tit.

  • colliemum

I fervently hope that there are a slew of conservative lawyers who observe the proceedings, single ballot by single ballot, on behalf of Allen West.

I fervently hope that such lawyers will see to it that ballots are not hidden from view, and that each ballot will be double checked by them.

I am sick and tired of the gloating from the socialists on the one hand and the moanings about 3 million stay-at-home evangelicals/TEA Partyers/libertarians/catholics – take your pick. (I suppose we should also include the ‘stay-away’ military votes in this, shouldn’t we! /sarc)

It should be evident by now that voter fraud has been perpetuated on an unprecedented scale, helped by lack of voter ID, which the UN observers noted – the same called in by the desm and socialists. Funny that we don’t hear those dems and socialists talk about that now, isn’t it!

I’m glad so many are rallying to help Allen West, and I hope this re-count is properly scrutinised.

  • NJK

I pulled this from Pamela Gellar’s website Atlas Shrugs. It applies to America and the GOP also. Mr. Romney, you didn’t honestly lose, you lost because you didn’t fight. If the GOP were generals in a physical battle, they’d have everyone killed. They never fight, they wave the flag of surrender before the battle has even begun. I’m ashamed of them. This is why I will never donate a dime to them again. Good grief, how many people died in the Revolutionary War for freedom, and all other wars, and these misfits can’t even muster enough courage to insist on a recount. It’s becoming a huge embarrassment.

“Ayn Rand said, “the spread of evil is the symptom of a vacuum. Whenever evil wins, it is only by default: by the moral failure of those who evade the fact that there can be no compromise on basic principles.”

Obama is that vacuum. Counties are still be tallied, but the world knows that America defaulted.”

    • kong1967

As far as I know, Romney can’t demand a recount unless the votes are very close in a state. Fraud was so high that I’d imagine the lead was beyond that margin in most states….enough states to make a recount in the “close call” states a non-factor. I would imagine if there were enough states within the recount margin that could overcome the electoral college count, Romney would have challenged the close states.

      Just a guess.

      • anyonebutbarry2012

77,000 vote difference in florida, so seems he could have asked for a recount, versus conceding yesterday.

        • kong1967

That’s true, but it was over the margin that would call for an automatic recount. Romney probably still could have challenged it, but winning Florida would not make a difference in the electoral count. He would gain on Obama by 58 votes, and he still would have lost 303 – 235. The only states fairly close enough to challenge would have been North Carolina (15 votes – lost by 2.2%), Ohio (18 votes – lost by 1.9%) and Virginia (13 votes – lost by 3%). He would have had to win all three of those states plus Florida in a recount. Not likely.

          • Wisewoman2

Kong. You are wrong. It does not matter if the results from FL would or would not have caused a change in the overall election results. If there were the potential for fraud he should have asked for a recount just to put to rest whether fraud occurred. He owed that to his voters. Furthermore if it were proven (unlikely) then it would open the door to questions of whether fraud occurred in other states. Republicans must begin to play the cards they are dealt and not let them slide over to the next election.

            • kong1967

Well, now I know why you call yourself Wisewoman2. You are right. I didn’t even think of that. Actually, now that you have mentioned it, Allen West alluded to the same thing. It’s not about him winning the election. It’s about people being able to trust our voting system and what we see right before our very eyes looks very corrupt.

              Thank you for that enlightenment.

  • iaintlyin

yeah, a PARTIAL recount. What a joke, as if it took weeks to tally up the original votes. Every election should be recounted regardless of the final margin. Whats the problem with recounting every race? Every single suggestion that would make things fairer even the most logical least intrusive suggestion is met with debate by the left. We let it get out of hand when we extended Election day into election week. Just another example of us finding a way to screw up a good thing for the sake of malcontents making a mockery of an easy thing.

    • kong1967

I know, I have half a notion to stop voting. If Republicans want my vote they will get off their butts and seriously push legislation to stop voter fraud. But, doing so will ensure an easier Democrat victory (if others do the same), and Dems will have constant power and never reform anything…and even make it easier to defraud the system.

So I will probably continue to vote in a corrupt and useless system.

      • iaintlyin

Oh, this was hard for them, I hadn’t realized that. It was harder for the OFFICIAL poll watchers to do their job in Florida than it was for the Left to swipe the whole kaboodle. No voting law changes by next election, I go third party. Fool me once…..

        • kong1967

Typically there isn’t a third party I’d be interested in voting for. I am not a libertarian and would never vote for one. Romney will probably run again in 2016 and will probaby win the nomination again. We just cannot get a solid conservative past the primaries, probably because Independents get behind the moderate and make it nearly impossible (just a guess).

      • anyonebutbarry2012

        the doj stopped states who wanted voter id law, it had nothing to do with the repubs.;

        • kong1967

I know, but I want even more serious changes. Requiring ID when you vote in person is a good law, but early and absentee voting is where most of the fraud is at. All I see are states continuously extending the time frame to vote. I don’t see any changes being proposed by Republicans that would slow down voter fraud with early and absentee voting. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’m not aware of it.

We owe over 16 TRILLION dollars on the National Debt and climbing fast. Projected to be around 20 TRILLION by the Morons next end of term.

Just what does anyone think the interest payment is on that? I’ll tell you.

For the month of October 2012 the total interest owed by every man woman and child was:

$12,922,741,407.27 That’s almost 13 BILLION dollars a MONTH. IN INTEREST ONLY!

What does anyone think happens to that interest payment when interest rates on that debt begin to rise?

This is not Rocket science. It is cold hard fact. Obama is oblivious of budgets. He IS an idiot. And millions of gullible Americans believe a guy that tells them he will cut the deficit when he spent the past 3.5 years adding TRILLIONS to it. unbelievable..

Actually I think millions of Americans are simply too freaking stupid to care. Give them a new cell phone and they are happy.. They just can’t be bothered to think about the consequences of an out of control Federal Government.
And they call the Tea Party a bunch of wacko’s.. lol, To much …

The interest rate on our debt will rise sooner or later. it is not a question of IF but of When.

We are then done as in Bankrupt.

Any human being that believes this administration can figure a way out of this is mental.

All you young people and the millions of adult idiots that happily voted for this moron you will live your life paying for your stupidity..

    Have a great frackin time…

Exactly – and as soon as Reid and Obama push anew debt ceiling through, wait for the USA being downgraded again, which automatically means higher interest rates on those debts.

Margaret Thatcher’s quote wasn’t just something she said – she lived through the five years of high debt, ever higher inflation, Union destroying industry and the economy.
      Google ‘Winter of discontent’ …
She knew exactly what she was talking about, and the left here in the UK still hate her as much as thirty years ago, if not more, and still blame anything going wrong today on her.

      • Nukeman60

I wonder how many people in this country believe that Germans in the WWII era had to buy their food using wheelbarrels full of money. Hyperinflation will hit us and most people won’t even understand how it happened. They certainly don’t believe it will happen even now.

        • colliemum

There’s a great book by Adam Fergusson, called “When Money Dies’, and I highly recommend this book.
The hyperinflation in Germany happened after WWI, and slowly gathered speed from 1920, before ended with a drastic re-adjustment by the German government in 1923.
By that time, the middle classes, all with a bit of savings, and especially the elderly who relied on their pensions, had been totally impoverished, if not died outright.

And yes, people did have to use wheelbarrows to get the amount of paper which was ‘money’ to the shops.

          • Nukeman60

Thanks for the book info. I’ll have to read it.

Yeah, I meant the time between the wars. Slip of the finger, and a war is gone, lol. I’m fearful that most people don’t even know anymore that there was a WWI. Thanks for the correction.

            • colliemum

Aww, I knew a slip of the finger was the cause, but as I’m a history buff, I didn’t want to let it slip.
Btw – what they did in Germany, actually from 1937 onwards, was rationing, which got more and more sever as thew ar went on.
Rationing started here in the UK with the war, but went on until the early 1950s, thanks to the by then entrenched socialist government, accompanied by a huge Black Market.

I’m going to re-read Fergusson’s book, because it’s looking more and more as if the industrialised nations are already on the slide towards hyperinflation. Scary …

      • Orangeone

Reid has already said a $2.4 Trillion raise is on its way and Barky Boy also promised another downgrade. What do they care, they are millionaires and Reids has 4 years before another election.

Ensuring integrity of the vote and the voting process is critically important. Democrats will do anything to maintain power look no further than how the health care bill became law with the kickbacks and underhanded Chicago style tactics there. I agree with you that LTC. West election should be the tipping point. When the St. Lucie county supervisor has obtained a lawyer that does indicate to me that something maybe very wrong here. Another indicator is why is it that Patrick Murphy is not concerned about the integrity of each vote and the voting process? Because he, like Elizabeth Warren, lied about their credentials. Murphy said that he is a certified CPA, and he is but not in the State of Florida-in the State of Colorado! So that tells me that he will do anything Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama tells him to remove a man of character and intelligence, like Allen West. Not one time has Allen West lied about who he is. Even with the situation where he used certain tactics to extract information from the enemy, it was still done for the country. Patrick Murphy cannot hold a candle to Allen West. So even if West is not victorious he is now relinquished from the chains of congress to start building his national presence. I can think of a particular seats coming up in Georgia that he may consider. At least he will be going back to his native home, unlike Hilary Clinton and Mitt Romney! He is a force to be reckon with and he is not going away. I’m sure the left and Obama know that. I mean even Barack Obama said “you can’t change Washington from the inside!”

But this debacle in Florida should cause every Governor, particularly in the battleground States, to evaluate the ratio of voters to voter ballots. Having the actual results delayed until 7 days after the voting date is important because this gives time to check for voting inconsistencies. The left may win this battle but they will not win the war, not with Allen West on our side!

Hers how far ahead of the game I believe the Left is. I think they have many Libs actually registered as Republicans. When it comes to having equal representation at any steop of the way, I think the libs outnumber the right by at least three to one. The best is, I actually think they have the one right leaning representitive (a dope) going to get coffee, paper clips, and pencils when crucial steps are taken in the process. This is how screwed up I think we (the right) have let things become. Far fetched, I don’t think so judging from what I’ve seen and who I know involved locally.

When asked about the 141% Supervisor of Elections Gertrude Walker stated, “They may have had something like that in Palm Beach County, but we’ve never seen that here.”
Review the statement of votes cast in St. Lucie County on November 6, 2012 here.
Supervisor of Elections Gertrude Walker posted to the SLC Elections website the following:
The CANVASSING BOARD meeting scheduled for the recount on saturday, november 10, 2012 at 7:00 am has been rescheduled for wednesday, november 14, 2012 at 7:00 am at the supervisor of elections office, 4132 okeechobee road mall entrance 2.
So hey, it appears that Rep. Allen West was pretty well justified in calling for ballots and voting machines to be impounded. Of course that request was denied by a Florida judge.

Video: Angry crowd reacts to ‘misleading recount’ in Allen West race http://www.bizpacreview.com/video-angry-crowd-reacts-to-results-of-misleading-recount-in-allen-west-race/

Allen West supporters expressed shock in Fort Pierce on Sunday, but not because the finally tally in St. Lucie County’s Congressional District 18 race showed West gaining 201 more votes — but because it was only based on a “cherry picked” partial recount and the supervisor refused to explain why.
    […]
The three days, according to the West team, did not include the time period when questions were raised about faulty technology on election night.
Many on West’s team said they felt the recount was a big show to make it look as if voting irregularities were addressed. The team is still trying to gain access to the voting logs from St. Lucie County, but has been unsuccessful so far.

Bad news, the recount didn’t reverse the results enough to prompt a full recount.

As of this morning, it seems that there is 800 less votes for Murphy and Col. West only trails by .058% instead of .091%, imagine that. Think it might have something to do with the fact more than 100% of the registered voters voted. ;-) ;-)
