GOP lawmaker accuses Obama of using Twitter spam to fake support for gun control

I’d say this is unbelievable, but it really isn’t. If Obama isn’t lying in some form or fashion, he isn’t awake.

THE HILL – A Texas Republican on Monday said President Obama’s gun control campaign is a fraud based on fake messages over Twitter.

Rep. Steve Stockman (R-Texas) accused Obama of trying to make support for his position look stronger than it really is by flooding Twitter with messages from people who don’t exist.

“Obama’s anti-gun campaign is a fraud,” Stockman said. “Obama’s supporters are panicking and willing to do anything to create the appearance of popular support, even if it means trying to defraud Congress,” he added. “I call upon the president to denounce this phony spam campaign.”

Stockman said that in response to Obama’s call for people to tweet their congressman in support of gun control legislation, he received just 16 tweets. But he said all of these messages were identical, and that a closer look at them revealed that only six were from real people.

“The other 10 are fake, computer-generated spambots,” his office said in a press release. As evidence, he said these 10 tweets use default graphics and names, and have not engaged in any interaction with other people. Two of the tweets were sent at nearly the same time, and both follow just one person: Brad Schenck, Obama’s former digital strategist.

Someone MUST CALL HIM OUT on this nonsense

Stockman teased us about IMPEACHMENT –

It might be time to get serious

Obama WILL push the envelope as much as he can get away with!

I blame the SPINELESS GOP for him still being in office!

        • Oh Joe! If you have surgery on it, let me know so I can keep you in prayers!!! I hope you’re feeling ok. I have wondered where you (and NY) have been- missed you. I still detest and loathe this dear leader too.

When you have a pot smoking street punk who is a narcissistic pathological liar and OWNS the mainstream media, why is anyone surprised at their constant lies and deceptions? It works for them and they have no reason to stop.

    • OneThinDime

He will! He’s waiting for Obama to issue an EO on gun control, working his way through legislation first. And that’s a good strategy. The TX and OK guys are defending this country in Congress better than any other region. Grahamnesty isn’t doing too bad on this and the confirmations, wish he would defend all US laws this strongly.

  • TexasPGRRider

I`ve got a feelin` B.O. may have just been reelected in much the same manner….

    • Joe

    • Sober_Thinking

      Spot on!

    • tinlizzieowner

      Well, lets see.
Some precincts with a 100% Obama vote?
Some precincts with a 120% registered voter turn out?
‘Calibration problems’ on some voting machines that log a vote for Romney as a vote for Obama?
A female (Black) poll worker who admitted she voted more than once (anybody think she was the only one)?
Col. Allen West’s precinct goes from 2,000 more votes for him to 2,000 more votes against him in a matter of minutes and the votes are being counted in private rather than in public, as the law states they must be?
Do the (liberal) math and then remember that Obama won by 51% of the popular vote.

    • mark1955 Yes he was “Re-elected” in the same Fraudulent manner! Also, during his final debate with MITTEN’S, when Obama said ( Paraphrasing ), “We have to re-visit an Assault Weapons Ban”. Right then and there should have been a Dead giveaway that the election was in the bag.No way In heck, would you tee off the estimated 80-90 million Firearms owners before an election unless it was fixed. Obama also planned on using that statement later on during an Assault Weapons Ban push, to tell American’s , “That see, I mentioned an Assault Weapons Ban and people still voted for me overwhelmingly, they must want a Ban on Firearms”. Even before that debate during the early voting, countless reports of people pushing the the toych screens for MITTEN’S and Obama’s name coming up. That’s in addition to people openly stating they had voted for Obama numerous times.

      • OneThinDime

And Soros’ company in Spain doing the electronic counting with Soros banned from Hungarian elections because of fraud…..hummmmmmm

        • marketcomp

You know I wonder why this is not investigated? Perhaps this is something that SE Cupp in her infinite wisdom to silence our modern-day philosophers, like Rush, can investigate? Nah, that would require Cupp and her atheist dope smoking friends to do some work.

        • mark1955

Yes. That company’s name is SCYTYL. They haven’t been involved in an election internationally, where a Marxist hasn’t won.

    • Boxofteabags

I think that Mittens was nominated in much the same way, we can’t beat the left when somebody gives us no choice but to vote for a non-player.

      • Conservative_Hippie

I’m starting to rethink the “gives us no choice but to vote for a non-player” part! I’m so sick of voting for the lesser of two evils!

    • Conservative_Hippie

  • Is it wrong that I laughed at the fact that the dear leader called for his disciples to tweet and only 16 did? even if they hadn’t have been fake, 16 tweets is pretty pathetic.
What a pathetic, delusional evil dear leader. While I’m grateful to Rep. Stockman for calling him out for trying to defraud Congress, how about those treason charges? How are they coming along? crickets…..

    • If it’s wrong I don’t want to do right and keep on laughing.. Pathetic!

    • bbitter

This shouldn’t be a surprise at all. Even among the most liberal lobotomy-zombies there is still a spark of logic and Americanism that realizes that they live in the Bronx, or deep Chicago, or suburbia Memphis, or L.A., or wherever liberals are concentrated and they know that the cops don’t show up soon enough. The only liberals who still dream of gun control working are those who haven’t been robbed/assaulted/threatened yet, (or plan on being the robber/rapist -gasp- …yeah, I said it and we all know it is true), and the way Obama is going, that group is shrinking very quickly.

There is a reason they aren’t trying to drive a constitutional amendment; they simply don’t have the support, and aren’t likely to ever get it anytime soon.

Baretta threatened Maryland that they would move their plant, (at one time, early 90’s, was the largest employer in the state), if the latest gun-control scheme goes through for that state. Jobs, protection, security, independence, common sense; at some point, even the brain-dead start to catch on.

Of course Obama’s gun control ‘grass-roots’ is faked. What about this president’s agendas have not been faked, bought, inflated, and hidden? Of course it’s fake.

      • It makes sense the way you lay it out. While there are a lot of idiots who would be the first to whine when they no longer have their 1st Amendment right to free speech and “peaceful” assembly because they fought so hard to remove the 2nd, I do believe you’ve got a good point there that many more still have even a small enough lick of sense to know.
I’m glad to see the gun manufacturers sticking up for themselves too. And for all the sheriffs across the country stepping up behind the Constitution. Just read today that every county Sheriff in Florida has signed the pledge on Constitutional Sheriffs- and we have a few liberal Sheriffs here, so this was excellent news!

        • Joe

I thought Law Enforcement supported gun control ?

          Oh Well!

          • OneThinDime

Some do! Watch the state gun control hearings, they all have at least 1 law enforcement person testifying.

            • mark1955

Thankfully most of those LE’s are political hacks. Not representative of law enforcement as a whole.

          • bbitter

            Warning: long post.
…because they have the guns, and, simply put, they are fooling themselves. I find this interesting, so I actually looked into it here in Utah… we’ve got fairly lax gun control laws here, and I wanted to see what the cops thought of it.

Well, of the five deputies I talked to, (btw, the only sheriff in Utah not standing against gun control is the one in SLC. Not my sheriff, and not the sheriff these deputies were attached to), three of them complained loudly about our lack of gun control laws, as it “makes our jobs harder, knowing that they might have a gun”, which made no sense to me, as they should treat every situation like a deadly one. They also complained at the (in the last three years) lack of ability to arrest someone who has a gun in their car without a CCW. When challenged, all three admitted that they like to have the feeling of ‘control’ or ‘the upper hand’ regardless of whether they actually do or not. Anything that ‘makes the job easier’ they were in favor of, regardless of whether it trumped the 4th, 2nd, or 1st amendment. And yes, I did take their names down.

The other two were incredibly level-headed and knew that more guns actually made it safer for them.

In Utah, in the last six years,
-it is legal to carry a gun in your car, loaded, and concealed, without permit. (court ruled it an extension of domicile)
-Universities were flat-out denied the ability to ban guns. Twice.
-Handgun waiting period was removed. (There was no benefit to it.)
(There are others, but those are most notable.)

            And they are currently debating:
-Making every citizen automatically CCW in-state. (Bill sent to the floor)
-Making it illegal to enforce Federal gun laws in the state. (In committee)
–(There are two dems on the committee opposing but without power to stop.)–

SilencerCo is up the road, and Barnes Bullets is down the road… and to the north you have Browning. (I think there are more, but I haven’t visited them.) It really is a good state to live in. I personally invite Beretta to come here. I’d love to build guns for them.

          • mark1955

I’m a retired Firefighter in a city in Greater Boston. I know many rank and file police officers and State Troopers as well as my fellow Firefigters and most of them LOATHE Obama and are very pro-God given Second Amendment Rights. The people in law enforcement behind the lecterns endorsing Obama’s potential Firearms grabs, are political appointees, with aspirations toward higher office.

  • c4pfan

Sorry, but Obama got 16 support tweets and that’s it?

  • Loser, it’s not enough you have real Obamabots you gotta make fake ones too..

  • Obama is trying to Catfish the Country..

  • clockwindingdown

    Well color me shocked!

I never heard of such a thing, leftist committing fraud, unheard of I say.

Why Obama was saying just the other day how the majority of Americana support responsible gun control. Apparently not enough to tweet their representatives…

Judging by the low availability of ammunition on the market I’d say the citizenry is busy stocking up rather then tweeting for disarmament…

  • tinker_thinker

    They voted for obama also…

  • Katy Henderson

It has also been revealed that via the O campaign, as a place of recruitment, over 3500+ individuals, mostly young people– now have a “JOB” at home and are being paid a little more than minimum wage to use their “skills” to hack into emails by using various IP addresses and Alias ID names or screen names etc… these 3500 plus people have been hired to go online using FAKE names and IP addresses to “spam” and make false comments on “truth” blogs, Religious, Conservative and “other O problem” websites and blogs and to do a sort of “damage control” when anyone post or tweets anything “negative” about O, or his policies, or gun control etc… AND to identify and take down names of other posters who are using those blogs and attempt to hack and identify the real individuals and their personal emails…for a list, apparently of O enemies or something….Very Disturbing and underhanded don’t you think… they are called Cyber Warriors for O. Research it!

    • NCHokie02

so that’s what all those work from home commercials are about

  • mark1955

This smacks of Desperation. The dems have to try every dirty trick in the book to make it seem to Americans, that the majority of people want Firearms Bans, when the opposite is true.Their “False Flags” haven’t been working anywhere near as successfully as Obama and the dems had hoped, as million’s of American’s have voted with their wallets and Flooded every Firearms store both in person and online and have virtually emptied almost all the shelves. The fact that we are in a depression and people are spending the few dollars they have in this fashion is a lot more telling than the Obama Administrations Rigged “Push Polls” and ‘Twitter’ posts!

  • spin43

From an addiction of marijuana and cocaine to one of lying and spending. Are 16 ounce sodas allowed in the White House? Salt and trans-fat?

  • Rocco11

    Obama is a lowlife scumbag.

  • And will you hear the mainstream media mention any of this? Not a chance. That’s what you get when government-run propaganda controls the press. It’s a dangerous place to be in this country, in any country for that matter, when there is no free press serving as a watchdog over a president. Once the media is in the tank for the government, you become no better than Zimbabwe. And, given our skyrocketing debt, our economy will soon look like Zimbabwe’s as well. Aim high, Mr. president.

  • Sober_Thinking

Lol… there’s nothing this corrupt regime won’t do. Even if they don’t fake these tweets, they’ll surely still lie about the quantity of them.

More shameless crap from the Liar-and-Chief.

    • demographicallychallenged

Heard on the radio yesterday that the use of private/personal email by EPA was for communication with Environmental groups and may have been used to prepare out of court settlements. 1) cash paid to the groups without a court trial. 2) Pay back to these groups for their support during the 2012 campaign 3) circumvent opposition to other people/groups that were against the Government/Environmental group position. You just have to love their total disregard for the People and the rule of law if this proves to be true.(or if it is even followed up)

      • Sober_Thinking

Man… you just can’t hardly make this stuff up. 🙁

  • Pancake3

Aim high, Mr. President? Impossible, Libertyship, this gutter snipe of a president does not have it in him to act in the honest interest of the American people. Obama makes the mafia look like boy scouts.

  • E. Lee Zimmerman

Like I’ve said for years now, the War on Reality wages on. Unless someone in the mainstream media is willing to come forward and denounce this charlatan for who he is, all is lost.

    • tinlizzieowner

      Somebody did.
Bob Woodward (hardly a conservative), called Nixon ‘a liar’ (which he was) and the liberals cheered.
Bob Woodward (still hardly a conservative), called Obama ‘a liar’ (which he is) and the liberals jeered.
Until the general public comes to grips with the blatant situational hypocrisy of the media, all is lost.

      • toongoon

They’ve been able to hold the economy together with plywood and duct tape, giving a false sense of security. When those people start hurting he’s going to fall very hard.

        • tinlizzieowner

Take it from a guy who has been in the media. There will come a time when Obama’s penchant for playing the media like a cheap fiddle, is going to come back and bite him hard. It will be a couple years yet. 😉

          • toongoon

They will likely just throw all that support behind the new liberal god(dess).

            • tinlizzieowner

Maybe and then again, maybe not. I’ve got a feeling that liberal socialism has just about run it’s 50+ year course. I may not be around to see it but I think there is going to be a rebound toward more conservative values. Once the money tree has been picked bare, things are going to get real interesting in this country. 😉

              • toongoon

I hope you’re right about it running it’s course and the rebound and wrong about everything else.

              • clockwindingdown

tinlizzieowner, what are you seeing which leads you to say this? Do you know of others with in the media that are seeing or feeling the same? Very interesting…

                • tinlizzieowner

                  2 things.
#1. Woodward has always been respected journalist. A ‘media darling’ of the left, as long as he was writing about Republican Presidents but none the less factual. Now that he’s decided to be factual about Obama as well, he’s being castigated by the rest of the media. What little is left of the media that does try to be factual, is paying attention to this. I can’t name names, this is simply an observation that will manifest it’s self in more articles questioning the Obama administration, by whom remains to be seen.
#2. The young tend to be anti-establishment. Always have and always will be. The left has managed to finally become ‘the establishment’ with the election and reelection of Barack Obama. The young are being raised with liberalism as the status quo, what are they going to ‘rebel’ against? 😉 😉
                  Simply speculation on my part.

                • clockwindingdown

Good points, thank you for the follow-up.

          • E. Lee Zimmerman

            No, it won’t.

            • tinlizzieowner

Here’s another little thing. Lately late night talk show hosts like Leno for instance, are doing more Obama jokes. Stupid little jokes, nothing malicious or sarcastic but Obama jokes, none the less. The writers are decidedly liberal but even they know when there is something out there to make fun of, for an audience reaction. 😉

      • E. Lee Zimmerman

Yeah, I read up on that overnight. Good on Bob for having the courage to stand for something.

  • Those TWEETS are as phony as Obama’s gun-control support or the sequester-scare. All hail the Liar-n-chief!

    • Sandra123456

These tweets are as phony as the ONE picture of Obama skeet shooting.

      • tinlizzieowner

Everything about Obama is ‘phony’ from the day he was born.

        • Or rose up through the gates of Hell!

  • anneinarkansas

He was re-elected by dishonest people. They know all of the dirty tricks of the political trade and do ot hesitate to use them.

  • TickedWhiteDude

Where’s Gingrich when you need him?

    • OneThinDime

Well he tweeted this a couple of days back: “We need a peoples sequester to replace the politicians sequester. Every American could suggest waste and low priorities to cut”

      Great idea!

  • iaintlyin

I wouldn’t put anything pass these creeps. As a matter of fact, when I had a flat tire on election day morning the first thing that went through my mind was that a lib operative did it to keep me from the polls. OK….now we are getting closer to the truth. Remember people…..the left stay true to their habits. First, fake fraudulent voting and now fake tweets? I think that the organization, True to the Vote, needs some gov’t financing (well that won’t happen) or financing from the Super Pacs to increase their size and start auditing ballot boxes (precincts) across the hot spots of our nation because the left rarely stray from their gospel book “Rules for Radicals”. First stop should be Va. Beach, Va and Northern Va. Only two Democratic strongholds in Virginia out of THIRTEEN Districts (eleven are GOP) and Obama takes the whole state….we need some serious checking!

    • I agree, I grew up in Va. Beach and now live in Central VA. No ID, no vote.

Personally, I think early voting should be abolished. Just gives Dems more time to stuff the box.

    • clockwindingdown

“Only two Democratic strongholds in Virginia out of THIRTEEN Districts…and Obama takes the whole state….”

That is the way the left works, they control the vote count, they control the vote. If they had to play fair they loose… the left is a minority, posing as a majority, rigging the results to steal power.

  • jimmie smith

Mr. Obama certainly has perfected the art of technology…It’s a shame that he uses it in such a dubious manner. The conservatives better get on board, because 5 minutes of face time on FOX won’t cut it, or 2014 will be a liberal footnote

  • They do the same thing on newsblogs, Facebook, and other venues.

They send out talking points and scripts that the “low information voter” (read: useful idiot) then takes forward and uses.

Same for talk radio. see: seminar callers

Same old playbook folks, different mediums.

Rep Stockman really is on the ball! He must have seen this on twitter yesterday.
I came across some tweets by conservatives, warning about the attempt to get that hashtag trending by using throw-away accounts, all ‘represented’ by the famous egg av, all started that same day.
So I had a look at it, and blimey – there were hundreds of them, mostly bald eggs, and all saying exactly the same (‘I’m one of the 92% of Americans for gun control …’).
I thought to myself that was a pretty poor effort by the o-bots, not even managing some variations in the tweeted texts. So blatant, so childishly, transparently and obviously a scam.

Rep Stockman obviously looked it up, he started tweeting about this yesterday evening.
He may have got 16 tweets, but there were hundreds.
I’m very glad that he picked up on this, and I hope his colleagues will as well.

This deserves huge publicity (not that the LyingscreamingMeejah will provide it) – and perhaps you all might like to draw the attention of your congress critters to this obvious fraud.

This just goes to show that there is NO SUPPORT for the President or for his idiotic gun control legislation. I would even venture to say that if it were not for the cheating and stealing of the election there is no support for the President. While he did get overwhelming votes interpreted as some kind of blessing or mandate then why cheat in all Blue States, manipulating voter ID and having illegals to vote? Additionally, if he has a mandate for gun control, then why fake it? Fake it because there is no support or mandate and Congress should vote NO on any gun control legislation. Obama’s default position is to deceive and lie.

    Thxs for posting scoop!

  • This is oh, so easy to do. GOP needs to get some tech geeks and take the gloves off.

“I call upon the president to denounce this phony spam campaign.” The problem is, Obama himself is a phony spam campaign. Worst. President. Ever.

  • Obama’s fake tweets aside I had an encouraging encounter yesterday when a young checkout clerk at a Dollar General engaged me in a discussion about the devaluing of the dollar. He knew and was worried about it. Good news that not everyone is in a zombie state of denial.
