A couple in Colorado is fighting government action to seize their property. And you won’t believe the pathetic excuse the government is using:
IJReview (via Gateway Pundit) brought attention to this story, which aired on Fox News last week. Colorado couple Andy and Ceil Barrie are locked in battle with Summit County over their property. A battle they are likely to lose. At issue is the ownership of their private property, which the government wants to seize because, well because they want to. What big brother wants, apparently big brother gets.
This is just one more example of the breakneck speed at which American liberties and guarantees of rights are being eroded. Guns, property, what to eat, what we’re allowed to say, to hear and to think, what the press can report, and our religious beliefs … all of these are under direct and relentless assault.
I mean, I don’t want to exaggerate, but …
