GQ Magazine has published a list of the top 20 craziest politicians and a whopping 17 of them are Republicans. And out of the three Democrats, they just threw Joe Biden on there for the heck of it. The other two Democrats to make the list were Sheila Jackson Lee and Hank Johnson. That’s it. There are no other crazy Democrats out there.
Of the many Republicans, they of course had to throw Ted Cruz in the list. You could probably see that one coming a mile away even though he is probably one of the sanest politicians in Washington DC. So why do they say he’s crazy? Well not for anything substantive. They put in his blurb that he “leans so far right that even fellow Republican John McCain classified him as a “wacko bird“” and they added for people to think of him as “Sarah Palin, if one of the five colleges she attended had been Princeton.”
A few other notable Republicans on the list were Sheriff Arpaio, Rand Paul, Steve King, Louie Gohmert…you get the drift.
Just to point out how ridiculous this list really is, they also included Joe Barton on it because he claimed that carbon dioxide is not a pollutant and that he pointed out he was exhaling carbon dioxide himself.
