Not many people know that....that our first Republican President had only one term as Congressman, before he was elected President.
He didn't go to an Ivy League school, and was self taught.
And that turned out well, didn't it.
Maybe sooner is better, before they get to him too.
I often wonder what it takes to turn a man against his country and when. But I guess I wonder more if a man like West can stay above it.
It's like there's something in the water in Washington, DC.

Allen West has 3 things that make him the best choice:
1. Leadership.
2. Courage.
3. Moral clarity.
He is a clear contrast to the Sigfried and Roy Vegas act of Barack Obama.

I'm looking forward to seeing him on Beck for the entire hour. Should be a great show and will definitely get him some name recognition with a much larger audience.

Some have said, that the reason they ran Bob Dole against Clinton in '96, was because they wanted to lose...to buy time till GWB was 'ready' to win.
But that didn't make sense to me....to just intentionally throw the race like that.

When both teams have the same owner, throwing a game between them is no big deal.

Consistent, focused, pricipled.
Anyone would respect Allen West staying loyal to his commitment as a member of the people's House. He is sorely needed in that body which is devoid of leadership and moral courage.
However, he must know, as we do, that America will not survive for more years of onslaught from within.
