CNN is reporting that a hospital in Gaza was hit and that Hamas is claiming it was an Israeli drone:
CNN – On the same day the United Nations held an emergency meeting to push for a cease-fire, a hospital in Gaza was reportedly hit.
Hamas-run television aired Monday what it says are live images from Shifa Hospital after an Israeli drone made a “direct” strike. The station has shown live footage of at least one body, seemingly dead, in what appears to be an emergency room.
The Israel Defense Forces told CNN it is “looking into the incident.”
The number of casualties remains unclear.
But the IDF Spokesperson just tweeted that a Hamas rocket aimed at Israel hit the Shifa Hospital:
A short while ago, terrorists in Gaza fired rockets at Israel. 1 of them hit Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza. The other hit Al-Shati refugee camp.
