As I prepare to head to my mother’s house to eat Thanksgiving dinner, I wanted to write a quick post wishing all of you a Happy Thanksgiving. I also thought it would be great for you to share in the comments what you are most thankful for this year.
For me, I am most thankful that I still live in freedom, that I don’t live in a country where Christians are being persecuted, jailed, and even killed for their belief. America, I believe, was inspired by God and the world would be a much worse place without it. While we have a lot of work ahead of us, I am still very blessed to live in such a great country.
But as we well know there are still many Christians around the world that are suffering greatly right now, whose future seems rather dim, whether they be in Egypt or in Sudan or elsewhere. Let’s not forget them through this holiday.
Again I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and want you to know I am also thankful for all of you who read the The Right Scoop.
