Harry Reid says Speaker Boehner acting like a dictator

If Harry Reid accusing Boehner of acting like a dictator isn’t the pot calling the kettle black, then I don’t know what is:

Because Boehner won’t agree to Obama’s uncompromising terms of raising taxes on those making over $250k, then he’s a dictator? Ugh! Harry Reid is the one who’s been acting like a dictator over the past 4 years, otherwise we’d have been passing budgets like the Constitution mandates.

  • Was it wrong that I so laughed out loud? Dingy really is proving every time he opens his mouth how much the dementia has spread.

    • BlueGood

Talk about a MAJOR CASE of PROJECTION hunh?

      Liebrals ALWAYS do that….

      • warpmine

Liberalanus, what else can be said?

      • Betsey_Ross

Everything that comes out of their mouths is always projection. It’s what they do. It’s all they know and it always, always always is what they are up to.

      • PatrickHenrysBody

There’s a saying that applies to Mr. Reid and it starts this way:

“People who live in glass houses….”

    • Don

Under Dingy Harry’s leadership the Senate has not passed a budget since Obama was elected. Since he becomes a babbling fool every time he opens his mouth, it reinforces that liberalism is a mental disorder. If this economy goes over the fiscal cliff, then it removes all doubt that Obama is a mouthpiece and makes a mockery of the Office of President.

      • Personally, I like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELkbDdPeL7I

        and then this one…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELkbDdPeL7I

Put them all together and it’s classic liberal doublespeak…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4w6IscrWvE

        • tinlizzieowner

Toss this one in for good measure. The situational hypocrisy of the left is amazing.

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America ‘s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government ‘s reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America ‘s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership meansthat, “the buck stops here.” Instead, Washington is shifting theburden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.”
          ~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006

But it only seems to be a ‘failure of leadership’ when there’s a Republican in charge, huh Barry and Harry. 😉 😉

          • Amazing isn’t it. oy.

            • tinlizzieowner

What’s amazing is that there are so many ‘useful idiots’ in this country that can’t (or won’t) look at this situational hypocrisy. 🙁

    • nibblesyble

I know, I was wondering if his medical team needs to adjust his meds? lol

      • PatrickHenrysBody

Perhaps to OD level? I’m not implying anything, though. 😀

  • Rshill7

Oh, just look at him teetering atop Mount Hypocrisy like the well-dressed plastic people atop a wedding cake. Reid not only takes the cake, he opens up an entire bakery of culinary delights. He’s got a case of moral diabetes no amount of insulin can tame.

    • Rshill7

Wow, what a street-walker he is. Where are all the runaway buses when you need ’em?

Alinsky 101. Accuse your opponents of precisely what it is that you are guilty of. On that score, I give Reid an A+. Next thing on his to-do list: Collapse our entire system.

He’s an apostle of The Three Hucksteteers: Alninsky. Cloward, and Piven.

  • mikeinidaho

Oh PUHLEEZE! Harry, you’re just another lying hack communist piece of dog feces.
SHUT UP. And Boehner needs to step up to the microphone and tell us all that he will do no more, period, until the Demunists act. Quit pussy-footing around, Boehner! No blubbering, no crying. Just make a speech that all have access to and tell us that the Republicans are FINALLY going to stand on principle and do NOTHING to raise taxes on ANYONE. Then make a firm statement that you are waiting on the DEMUNISTs’ plan to fix the “fiscal cliff” and that if nothing is done by the DEMUNISTS, the REPUBLICANS will let the fiscal cliff occur.

    • The republicans will cave. They are no better than democrats. It’s high time we started over and first order of business is to outlaw both parties.

      • tinlizzieowner

Vote out ALL the ‘politicians-for-life’ in Congress. They will never impose term limits on themselves, we have to do it from the ground up. 2 terms, that’s it. Make the lobbyists have to bribe a fresh ‘Congress-Critter’ every 4 or 8 years.

        • Indy

I so agree. I believe in voting for the non-incumbent every time. I’m sick of the same old faces and crap decade after decade. It’s up to us not to let anyone make a career out of “public service”, as they like to call it. I call it welfare myself. ugh

          • tinlizzieowner

“To become the master, the politician poses as the servant”.

          • tinlizzieowner

Right on the button. The government was never meant to be a full time job from the very beginning. That wouldn’t be much different from the Monarchy the founding fathers fled from and they recognized that.

        • PatrickHenrysBody

Too bad there are tens of millions Americans who vote these useless idiots back in…time and again. Career politicians can always count on low-information or just plain dumb voters. Apparently, that number stands at 52 percent.

          • tinlizzieowner

Yes it is, and sadly until the government quits playing Oprah and runs out of other people’s money to redistribute, things aren’t likely to change. 🙁

            • PatrickHenrysBody

Hey, they can just print more money. The dollar is getting close to funny money status anyway. Hello Weimar Republic.

              • tinlizzieowner

Like my teenaged daughter said to me many years ago when she got her first check book. “How can I be out of money Daddy, I still have checks left?”
                😉 😉

                • PatrickHenrysBody

                  LOL. Good one. 🙂

  • aposematic

As soon as I think Dingy Harry can’t get any dingier he opens his orifice and more hate spews forth.

  • deTocqueville1

    Very low farce!

  • Conniption Fitz

    Alinsky-speak and projection.

All progressives live in a strange opposite of reality and truth universe.

  • I just wish that more Republicans would say what a hypocrite Reid is. Really, the Replublicans really need to grow some stones in Congress and call out Reid when he’s acting like a jerk. One of the few conservatives who would do that is Allen West, and he’s leaving. We need to take the battle TO THEM, put THEM on the defensive, make THEM beg for a deal. Until that time comes, just say no to lowlifes like Reid.

    • warpmine

Americans will never do what’s necessary, march down to DC and arrest them all.

  • Conservator1

Don’t let Harry Reid’s rants trouble you. He just realize that he can’t pass anything to fix the ‘fiscal cliff’ because Democrats in the Senate oppose Obama and Reid’s plan to save the America’s economy from the devastation that sequestration will bring.

Obama and Reid’s problems are dealing with Senate Democrats and his faux opining about “acting like a dictator” is just political cover for the weak leftist who control the Senate.

  • Conniption Fitz
  • warpmine

In reality, Reid has just insulted every American who voted to keep the House in the hands of the GOP as we wanted it this way. Screw you Harry!

  • Is_Sense_Common

I actually think Boehner is working with Reid. I think Boehner wanted Reid to go out & say something like this so that us stupid Conservatives will think that Boehner is really a tough guy & working hard to deny barry his tax hikes.

    I ain’t buyin it.

  • Erdnay

It’s the old “bait and switch” game. Obama and the Dems did not want congress back in session to seriously work on the fiscal concerns. They wanted congress back in session to work on more gun control.

  • clockwindingdown

Boehner simply needs to look in Harry’s eye’s on National TV and simply reply,
Harry, you have broken the law and failed to pass a budget every year since taking control of the senate.
Harry, your vote for and on the record was not to support every budget the POTUS has proposed.
Harry, you have failed to bring up for vote every budget The House has passed and sent your way.
Harry, you must like the sound of your own voice for you fail to speak anything of substance.
Harry, you choose to lie and point the finger all the while failing to uphold your oath to office and to these people of the United States of America.
Harry, you are and forever will be known as a Failure, a liar, and criminal, to all whom your name has, or will ever touch their ears.
    Harry, you have Failed America!
Then Boehner should simply walk away from the podium…

    • PicklePlants

Never gonna happen – too bad.

      • clockwindingdown

Agreed. It is time those on the right grow a backbone. Stand tall and hold their ground and start calling out those on the left. Meek and passive has got us where we are today. If we would start playing the game by the rules the left are playing by things would turn in favor of the right.

Boehner is the same side of the coin when he gives in. Sense he capitulates he should quit with the show and bend down and kiss their shoes.

I hope there is a changing of the guard in the House, one for the better that is. Otherwise “The Who” will be right,
        “meet the new boss,
        same as the old boss…
And I’ll get on my knees and pray
        We don’t get fooled again.”

    • Orangeone

      If I may add:

Harry, when you point one finger at the Republican-controlled House, 4 are pointed back at you as the real blame.

Harry, the Republican-controlled House passed a bill LOWERING taxes on all Americans. The Senate needs to vote on it.

      • clockwindingdown

Agreed! I would ask this too.

Harry, why do you discriminate against some Americans, how can you justify your blatant act against your fellow citizen? You of all people, a US senator, the majority leader?

  • Do you ever wonder why certain people don’t choke on their own hypocrisy?

    • I’ve concluded that Lady Karma is a liberal Democrat that plays favorites.

      Just sayin’

  • Rocco11

These people are wearing Alinsky threadbare, literally everything they say these days is precisely 180 degrees from the truth…

  • actionsspeaklouder

This is all just a game to them. All a big dog and pony show for the peons. I’m sick of the whole mess. They have been behaving this way for far too long and getting away with it. We were looking at the same ridiculous posturing last year at this time. Aren’t you sick of getting jerked around? These politicians and Obama are the biggest JERKS AROUND. It’s too bad the Republican leadership won’t get front and center and bring out Reid’s shortcomings and the fact that he hasn’t passed a budget in years. I guess being brow-beaten by a mealy-mouthed, lying, corrupt crony is ok with Boehner. McConnell is keeping his yap shut because he’s up for reelection in 2014 and doesn’t want to be primaried. I hope Kentucky Tea Party people primary McConnell with a terrific conservative candidate and he loses his reelection. Boehner, McConnell and Cantor need to go. All entrenched politicians need to be voted out.

  • Harry, you act and sound like:
an arrogant fool, despotic cacique, dictatorial commie…..the rest of the epithets cannot be posted…

  • MadAsHellJack

LIBERAL=A person with an antisocial personality disorder, manifested in aggressive, perverted, criminal, or amoral behavior without empathy or remorse. In other words Psychopaths!

  • Nukeman60

I think this video was cut short. I’ve obtained the lost seconds of the original. Harry continues to say:

“Boehner should run the House like I run the Senate. Every bill that’s passed by the House comes up for a vote in my Senate to get them resolved…What’s that, you say? I’ve tabled every bill that came before me from the House? I don’t remember that… Anyway, as I was saying, we have passed a balanced budget every year since I was Senate Majority Leader and…What now? Huh? You say I haven’t ever passed a budget, let alone a balanced one? Nah, not true. So, stop interrupting me… Where was I? Oh, yeah, now if we could get back to trying to support cowboy poetry and my re-election campaign, then we will be back on track here. Ve haf veys of making you do what I say…GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!…

    • LOL! Brilliant! 🙂

      • Nukeman60

Hey, welcome back from the holidays, Wolfie. I hope you had a Blessed Christmas with you family and friends. Your insights have been missed these last couple of days.

        • Thanks so much for the welcome back! 🙂 We had a lovely quiet Christmas. We made the Dinner together and reminisced of Christmases past and so on.

Glad to see you back too! I hope your Christmas was nice too?

          • Nukeman60

Yes, it was, both here and in my home. 🙂

    • white531

      Nukeman, 10
      Reid, 0
No contest, that I can see.

  • ApplePie101

For once I agree with Reid, insofar as Boehner has tried to crush Tea party conservatives, purging several from their preferred committees. That won’t satisfy his democrat string-pullers, though. Constitutional conservatives, get out from under the jackboot already, and make a third party. Many of us are eager to back you, but not under the rino banner.

  • Mr Reed is a real bitter man and has no concern for our future and should be removed from his position. He is a name caller and only a puppet for the progressives that control him. Being from california should be a concern as if you look at that state it is going down the tube quickly. Mr Reed shut up and do what needs to be done and leave you jerk. Remember that your party is in charge and needs to be the one that listen to the peole and we want it fix and not to be giving away to those that do not contrubute. I think the way to solve the problem is simple. If you do not pay taxes you do not vote on the issues. We do not have people that do not work or support a company vote on issues so why should none tax payer vote on the either.

  • aposematic

Boehner is Speaker of the House; the Congressional Body responsible for taxing to pay for financing the Nations Budget–the responsibility of the Senate and not a Budget in three years now, soon no Budget for four years. Ball in your court Mr. Reid… The problem is the Politicians and their cabal of fellow missfits in the MSM/Press keep calling Obuma’s spending proposals a Budget, it is not; only the Senate can by law set the Budget and the reality is Boehner is a bonehead for trying to find ways to pay for Obuma’s proposed spending as that is not his job to finance the Executive Branch’s Proposed Budgets, as there cannot be a Budget unless the Senate sets one, and never by law has been the House’s responsibility. Basically, the Law says the Senate must act before the House can act on Budgeting. Ball in Reid’s court.

  • mikeinidaho

This comment from a dictator-wannabe’s butt-kissing lackey who, at his master’s bidding has not brought out a budget for 4 years and helps spend trillions in borrowed money.
This country is doomed and the best course of action, in my humble opinion, is a Second American Revolution once the collapse commences.

  • aPLWBinAK

I do my best to not hate Liberals, prefering to leave hating to them, because they are so good at hating…..but lizards like Reid make it really tough…..I wish he would slither back to where ever he was spawned

  • The only person acting like a dictator, is Obama. The person responsible for most of the deadlock in Washington for the last DECADE is Harry Reid.

  • Sober_Thinking

Okay then, Harry Reid, you’re a traitor to this nation.

You have the gall to say the stupidest things that can come out of a human being’s mouth – you and Pelosi – and dare to betray the U.S. Constitution (the law)? How do you like being a puppet?

I will Fudder Whacken vigorously when this idiot is retired or fired. I will sing in the streets if he’s deported or jailed. There will be justice someday.

  • Army_Pilot1967

I suppose if Pelosi was still SOH everything would be wonderful in Harry’s world because she would block everything the Republicans were interested in. That’s how things work in the Dims’ world. I have a beef with the current SOH, but it isn’t that he’s a dictator….it’s that he tends to roll over for the Dims much too easily, instead of fighting them tooth and nail.

  • hbnolikeee

Dirty Harry is such a disgusting lying sack of crap it’s really hard to listen to him speak.

  • I agree. John Boehner is a dictator.

  • notebene

Really, Harry? I’d say it was the other way around. Never have I witnessed such a group of incompetent “sore winners” as the Democrats! Where’s the BUDGET, Harry? HMMMM?! You’ve sat there in that seat, and even with a majority…still NOTHING! Get off your [email protected]@, shut your yap, and do your job! Make a budget, cut the spending, and stimulate the economy instead of doing everything in your power to make people dependent on the government dole to survive!

  • tinlizzieowner

If you want to know what a liberal like Reid really is, simply take what he says about others and apply the words to him. Remember what Obama’s pal Van Jones said. “Top down, bottom up, inside out”.
    😉 😉

  • NYGino

Too bad the original Dirty Harry isn’t around to straighten this Dirty Harry out.

    That would make my day.

    • Do you feel LUCKY Gino? 😉

      • NYGino

Nah, I’m feeling a little punkish.

        • I was once pulled over by a well known city cop… and he remarked as he sat there in his police car… That my hairdo… reminded him of a donkey… My (pals) laughed out loud… I felt bad… I’d gotten this striped hairdo… I was a punk rocker back then… Looking back, didn’t quiet know what that meant… but there was I… that punk rocker… LOL! Right! c’mon, right? Right? 🙂

          • NYGino

That cop wasn’t a big fan of the Ramones. (I was going to say I like Dead Kennedys but it might be taken wrong and I’ll be exiled from TRS so I wont)

    • lol. I’d scrape up money to pay to see that. 😀 HEY NY!

      • NYGino

HEY! West coast, the word for the day….Brrrrrrrr!

        • Crap, no kidding! I’m freezing over here!! Gonna have to turn on the oven lol. Got my heating pad back from Miss. Jane Deere.. she’s not happy with me right now lol. ((()))s

          • NYGino

I have to ask, is she related to John?

            • lol yep. When she was brought home on the 4th of July, as a kitten rescue, I fed her from an eye dropper, then she fell asleep on my John Deere hat! I knew her name right then.
Hi NY! Cold weather keepin’ you up late? I’ve got the oven on warming me up lol. And my flannels.

              • NYGino

My circadian system is in a state of flux. I’m just going with the flow.

(Ideally the above statement would have “Dark Side of the Moon” as background)

                • LOL. Man, I love Pink Floyd! One of my favorite bands. I’m going with the flow into my electric blankie here shortly 😉 Sweet dreams sweetNY. See you tomorrow!!

PS- all those years you were in your band, did you ever write music?

                • NYGino

So this club owner asks the agent, “How many are in this band?” and the agent tells him they have four musicians and a drummer.

                • lol. Gotcha. 😉 I always liked drummers too. You crack me up. Thanks for always making me smile NY. ((()))s Night you silly.

  • giomerica

The next thing you know, they’ll call the Republicans “extreme” and “draconian’ for wanting to balance the budget… Oh, wait ; )

  • 08silverado

This weasel calling Boehner a dictator is rediculous. What a lying jerk.

Look who’s talking. Hairy Weed is who is holding up the works. The little man is just PO’d because the House won’t vote his way. I hope God gets tired of that weasel soon and calls him into account.

  • white531

Forgive me, but I can’t remember anyone on the Left who ever came close to being as contemptible as Harry Reid. Back in high school, everyone on the basketball court probably squashed him like a bug.

This little pipsqueak of a human being is getting back at everyone he ever met, who was taller than him, which is probably most of us. That just came to me, like an epiphany.

He’s a little weasel. He’s always been a little weasel. Probably even his mother thought he was a little weasel. But he is Senate Majority Leader, and he’s on a “pipsqueak” rampage right now.

How we got to where we are, in spite of our illustrious history, is a mystery to me. Obama, Pelosi, Reid, the entire left side of the Senate, almost half of the House, over fifty per cent of Americans.

They came here one at a time. I guess we just have to get rid of them the same way. One at a time.

  • Harry Reid’s comments are crazy as usual, just like he is, when someone as boring and out of touch as he is means your doing it right if Reid doesn’t like it…

  • HWGood

This is from the man who shut out the Republicans from various debates, then shoved them through the Senate with no input at all from the other side of the aisle.
He is surrounded by people and media outlets that will agree with him.
He may well believe his own words.
To quote one of the great sages, “Ruh-roh”.

  • HWGood

Regarding your new comment policy, I hope that your license for Troll Hunting has neither a closed season nor a bag limit.

  • rwnutjob

Look at the polls. It’s working for him. Republicans are getting blamed for the problem when it’s obvious where the fault lies for any thinking person.

If you are going to get blamed for it anyway, do the right thing. Stand for no tax increases until spending is under control.

  • One question, were is a Republican senator getting up on the floor of the senate and calling out Reid about his statements? Not one of the them has the guts to do it.

  • ok

  • What a disgrace, thanks to TRS.

  • opinionatedhermit

    Where’s our damn budget!

If the Government doesn’t have to abide by the Constitution and put together a reasonable budget, then there is no way any of us should be forced to put together reasonable IRS forms.

    Screw them…

These people are playing us like a two dollar banjo……..
