Erstwhile socialist filmmaker and full-time professional moron Michael Moore tried to explain to Chris Matthews how he could support Bernie and then vote for Hillary. On the way he said that Christianity is essentially socialist.

Every time I think Trump cultists are the dumbest people in existence, someone on the left pops up to challenge them for the title!! Moore gives the most obscenely simplistic and cartoonish definition of Christianity for the sake of his attempt to shoehorn it into his socialist worldview. Even Chris Matthews, who is Catholic, seems to be offended at the ridiculous caricature Moore offers.
Socialism demands that people subsume their identity under the collective of the state, whereas Christianity philosophically demands the individual take responsibility for their own actions. They are essentially opposed to each other in that respect.
You can tell that he has absolutely no respect for the faith as he snarls his definition distastefully. How anyone can believe that he’s honestly portraying Christianity is beyond me.
