What stuns me is that a mob of the concert goers did not immediately form and chase down the picks (thugs) that did this and stomp them. When will it become fashionable to fight back again?
When will we hear a decent person in the crowd of by standers shout, “Let’s roll!”
A fractured eye socket is a serious injury. There are red states, and even some not too blue, in which the gang of ten or fifteen thugs would have lost one or some of its leaders. “An armed society is a polite society.” We don’t need more Trayvon Martins (i.e. dead thugs), but we do need streets safe enough for law abiding citizens.
