The Navy has created a new weapon that they believe will absolutely change the future of military combat. It’s a technological marvel:
It’s unbelievable to me the range and power of this ‘gun’. The projectile it fires can travel 4500 mph or Mach 6! And with that kind of speed it has a range of 125 miles, a distance it can traverse in less than 2 minutes!
And not only that, it uses a magnetic pulse to fire the round instead of conventional gun powder, meaning it basically needs a 25 megawatt power plant just to fire.
Just when you think we’ve run out of ideas, we see something like this that reminds us why we are the greatest country in the world.
