Homeland Secretary John Kelly admitted before Congress today that he should have delayed the immigration executive order just a bit so that he could have informed Congress of what was coming:

He explained that the order was put out quickly in order to prevent ISIS or any other jihadi terrorists from taking advantage of any time period before implementation by hopping a plane and flying here.
Kelly takes full responsibility for the quick rollout and promises in the future to brief Congress first.
Kelly also pointed out that no other countries are being considered to be put on this temporary travel ban list, however they are looking at additional vetting techniques:
