Houston Texans’ J.J. Watt steps up BIGTIME for the families of the Santa Fe victims

Houston Texan’s J.J. Watt continues to be an incredible example for all Americans by his generosity – this time he’s doing something very kind for the families of the victims in the horrific Santa Fe shooting.

From the Hill:

Houston Texans star J.J. Watt will pay for the funerals of the 10 people killed in a Texas school shooting on Friday.

ABC 13 reported that the Houston Texans confirmed that the team’s star defensive end will pay for the services.

Nine students and a teacher were killed when a gunman opened fire at Santa Fe High School near Houston. Ten others were injured in the shooting.

Pretty amazing.

It is definitely a time for mourning after such a senseless tragedy, but we must remember that times of great grief are often opportunities to see great acts of mercy and humanity as well. Focus on the latter instead of the former…
