“I Am Here to Die for Allah, There Will Be Deaths” – Paris Airport Attacker’s Chilling Last Words Revealed

This morning we told you about the attack in Paris at the Orly airport, where a man violently attacked a female soldier in an attempt to steal and presumably use her rifle, which ended in his being killed by the other officers on the scene.

Now there is new information out about the man and what motivated him. As we said in the earlier post, he was already on a watchlist, and has previously had his home searched in investigations into other terror events. The latest insight will confirm what was obvious. Well, it will confirm it for you and me. Half the media will probably still ponder what could possibly have motivated him. (Certainly not Islam, you racist.)

From CNN:

A man holding a gun on a French female soldier at a Orly Airport shouted, “I am here to die for Allah. There will be deaths,” before two of the soldier’s comrades shot the attacker dead Saturday morning, a prosecutor told reporters. The attacker was identified as Ziyed Ben Belgacem, who authorities believe was radicalized in 2011 or 2012, Paris Prosecutor Francois Molins told reporters.

In addition to his last words, he also sent a final text to his father and brother, stating simply “I shot the police.”

Ziyed, who in addition to attacking police and military at two locations also carjacked someone, was already familiar to police. Not just because he was on a watchlist for terror, or for his apparent “radicalization”, but also for his prior career as a scumbag criminal, including “nine instances of armed robbery and drug trafficking.”

He was born in France, and authorities indicate he may have been “radicalized” in prison.

That same recruiting happens in American prisons, just so you know.
