We suggested yesterday that the left would trot out the excuse that Hillary didn’t know that her campaign was funding of the dossier, and as sure as water is wet, that’s what they are now saying:

Hillary Clinton only learned about the now-infamous “Trump dossier” after BuzzFeed News posted it, despite the fact that the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped fund it, a source confirmed to CBS News.
A former British spy, Christopher Steele, complied the explosive allegations in the 35-page dossier for Fusion GPS during the 2016 campaign. In January 2017, BuzzFeed News published the full dossier, though it contained unsubstantiated allegations.
That Clinton was unaware of the Trump dossier was first reported by The New York Times.

Officials from the Clinton campaign and the D.N.C. have said they were unaware that Perkins Coie facilitated the research on their behalf, even though the law firm was using their money to pay for it. Even Mrs. Clinton only found about Mr. Steele’s research after Buzzfeed published the dossier, according to two associates who discussed the matter with her. They said that she was disappointed that the research — as well as the fact that the F.B.I. was looking into connections between Mr. Trump’s associates and Russia — was not made public before Election Day.
Hillary never knows what’s going on around her. NEVER.
She ran the entire State Department and had no clue her people were denying requests to better secure the consulate in Benghazi, which ultimately contributed to the death of our US ambassador at the hands of Islamonazi terrorists.
Now her campaign is funding research into what appears to be a phony and salacious anti-Trump dossier, that has certainly contributed to investigations into Trump over Russian collusion, and she didn’t even know about it until it was over!
C’mon! Either her management style is absolutely terrible or she’s LYING.
Personally I’m gonna go with the latter. This pattern is just too convenient.
